So many amazing things to look at and see absolutely wonderful. Another thing I have to brag about is how friendly everyone is there. You walk in the door and you are greeted literally by everyone. I love that part of the restaurant is set up like a cozy Bristo, with couches and chairs. You can order your coffee and pastries without having to go into the restaurant side. Rather than addressing me -- the person who actually had the issue -- he spoke exclusively to my dining companion and never once looked at me, acknowledged me, apologized to me, or treated me as though I even existed. I've honestly never experienced anything quite so rude or dismissive in a restaurant. I mentioned that I had previously owned two restaurants myself and understand that mistakes happen. His response? He said he had looked at the first two plates of eggs himself, but never once acknowledged whether they were prepared correctly or incorrectly. No accountability. No explanation. No apology. Just indifference and disrespect. I have to be honest: the way I was completely ignored while he spoke only to the man I was dining with left me with the personal impression that my opinion simply didn't matter to him. Whether intentional or not, that was exactly how it felt, and it made an already disappointing experience even worse. I've worked in hospitality.
