My family enjoys the picnic tables here. Recently we reserved several tables by the lake which under covering or pavilion. It's $165 for residents and we had it from 10AM to 4PM. We had a 6 year old birthday party with about 15 families in attendance. It was great! The kids LOVED the ducks, turtles, and play ground. It was nice to have tables and shade. Plenty of trash cans to throw away our trash. And plenty of parking for everyone. We all enjoyed it!

Pickleball courts are closed starting 5/4/2026 to 5/12/2026. Will reopen on 5/13/2026. 2) Baseball/Softball Field 3) Community Center 4) Gymnasium: Indoor basketball and pickleball courts (7pm - 10pm) 5) Restrooms: They're available. I've seen rocket ship parks before but this one is the best of them. It's extremely spacious. There are picnic bench areas as well. They also have a bathroom. It's next to a big baseball field and basketball court. There's a smaller play area for age 2-5 and the taller structure for 5-12. There are large grassy field areas. It's a bit hilly. There's plenty of parking in a private lot. I was happy there was no sand nor wood chips so it didn't get messy. The bad: It seems like the overhang or structure for shade above the picnic benches are under construction or removed. The interesting: There's a giant lion statue made of stone that my toddler loved. It's donated from Lion's Club.

This park is a great gathering and refresh place for the community of San Gabriel for leisure exercise nature walks for children and adults alike. There is a couple of playgrounds located inside Vincent Lugo Park, one of which is La Laguna playground with huge animal shaped installments for children to play & explore and a regular playground with swings & climbing/jungle gyms. For adults, there are outdoor exercise equipment, which I saw are located in two separate places.. There are more nooks & crannies for me to explore that I may find in my next visit. Picnic tables are found some shaded some not, bbq grills, too. Additionally, there are covered tables and chairs as well for the community to hold parties or any kind of celebration. Walking paths are available, both cement & ground (clay-like). I noticed that there were a few sets of people doing tai chi-a few of them brought their music to coordinate their movements. It seems like small park tucked away, almost hidden. It's like a nature trail for me. I figure I could cut across the Alhambra Wash path to walk to it next time. It's newly remodeled into a castle themed playground with wood chips instead of sand. They have three different picnic tables right above, two smaller ones and one big main one. Restrooms are right at the end of the playground and was fairly clean. Love that there is a HUGE grass space and overall very clean area. They have additional picnic tables as well by the beginning of the playground. Parking wise - the address leads you to the top parking (1/3) but the playground is actually at the bottom (smaller lot). The kiddos really enjoyed this park and love that it's gated. Perfectly sized with a restroom right there is so convenient, especially for a mom of multiples out by herself. So glad to have found this park!!

Lots of people with their family and friends plus their furry friends spending a beautiful and sunny weekend at this park. Plenty of benches for parties and all. Children's playground is available. Libary of Books located at the front of the park. Great place to take a comfortable and relaxing stroll in the early morning or evening when it's cooler. Love to be back for more yoga and nice walks! Street parking is available, but may be limited when there are a lot of people. Come here early if possible.
