It is like a big giant loop. The community center is well kept, the bathrooms are cleaned. It is definitely a good space to have a party for kids especially if they want to utilize the playground or Splash pad. If you are hosting a party during the colder months, then you may need to find some activities inside. I think they have several rooms that you can rent from. The one that we were in did not have carpet, some people like the carpet feel for some parties (like baby shower), but I thought the space was plentiful for a kid's birthday party. The kids were able to run around, play musical chairs and plenty of room for an entertainer.

Or they give you weekday times to tour that are in the middle of the day. They stopped responding to my emails and never answered their personal lines that are included in their email signature. HOW FRUSTRATING! Either you don't want my business in reserving for an event. Or you're discriminating against me in not responding to my emails. My boyfriend and I emailed the facility tech Alejandro Ochoa (gochoa@sanramon.ca.gov), the rec coordinator James Spielvogel (jspielvogel@sanramon.ca.gov), and program specialist Nargess Anwar (nanwar@sanramon.ca.gov). They only responded at the very beginning and never responded back when I was serious enough to come an tour. We submitted a form to rent the center for our event. NOTHING BACK. It's been 10 days and counting since we've gotten any response. Don't give them your business. The city (or whoever is responsible) needs to hire people who are competent enough to answer their emails and phones so that they can get business in renting our their facility.

A breakfast buffet was set up in the Juniper atrium up the stairs, with fresh fruit, sausage links, potatoes, and scrambled eggs, along with a beverage station offering coffee, tea, and juice. Tables were arranged nicely, and it's a beautiful open space with lots of natural light, though a bit echoey if trying to hear announcements in the room or any kind of communication with the large group. Presentations were held in the Tahoe auditorium with clean and comfortable lime green seats facing the stage and much better sound than in the atrium. We used at least a couple different rooms during the conference, but it looked like they have so much more to offer. Such a lovely venue, with multiple lounge seating areas, along with lake views out back and access to Lake Annabel just steps away. Water features create an inviting setting at the front entrance coming from the parking lot as well, with lots of greenery and adorable waterbirds on site. Parking was free and plentiful, too. Just a great event space altogether.

Our guests couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful and serene the setting was. A huge thank-you to Saneta and Jessica, who were incredibly responsive and truly wonderful to work with. Since we didn't have a wedding planner, their guidance and support were invaluable. They answered every question, kept us on track, and made sure we felt confident throughout the entire planning process. We genuinely appreciated how attentive and supportive they were from start to finish. The venue itself is spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed -- it allowed our vendors to work seamlessly and gave our guests plenty of room to enjoy every moment. Everything ran smoothly on the day-of, and we felt so cared for the entire time. Really appreciated Saneta checking in with me & my now husband to ensure we had everything we needed. Saneta and Jessica were communicative and were always able to clarify any questions we had leading up to the wedding. They have a preferred vendor list that was super helpful in guiding us with vendor selection, and the ones we selected from their list ended up being solid fits for us.

As soon as we were met by a Docent in period dress the mood was set. Walking over the bridge to the house she started to tell the history of the Glass Family and the Valley as it was in 1877. Stepping though the door is really a step back in time. The nine room house is decorated as it would have been when the Glass family lived there. Everyone of the nine rooms was clean and not a bit of dust could be seen on the many knickknacks that the Victorians adorned their homes with. Everything in the house is original to the period. While the rugs, wallpaper, and some of the fabrics on furniture are new, they are all period reproductions. The knowledge that the two docents, Pat and Kim, shared was amazing. In addition to the story of the Glass family and the San Ramon Valley, they peppered their talk with some CA. history. I was a part of the planning committee and had a chance to work directly with the staff. Every person I interacted with was a true pleasure, professional, and extremely kind. The staff was really communicative and helpful throughout the process. I was extremely impressed on the day of the event. The planning team and the point of contact was always so responsive and thoughtful to the planning of the event. It really took away the stress and anxiety when it comes to planning a company event for 400 people. They helped us coordinate every step of the way. We got a chance to tour the facility, which it gave us a great idea of the layout and amenities. The day of the event was very fun and ran smoothly. We had someone help us with check in and also was there to greet each guest. She was a very lovely girl who was so helpful and welcoming to the guest by letting them know the amenities and schedule for the day. The staff all had blue shirts, which was easy to spot them and every one of them was so friendly. The food was really wonderful and we're so happy we chose the option we did. There was potato salad, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, salad, beans, pesto salad, and rolls. The staff was very accommodating at the venue, they made sure to have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. To top it all off, we had yummy snow cones that came in cherry red and tropical blue. The kids had really seemed to love the snow cones. We opted to have an open bar feature at the event, which the guests enjoyed beer and wine options. The venue was really beautiful and the trees provided much needed coverage from the summer sun. There were plenty of picnic tables for people to sit in various areas of the park. There were activities that included, bocce ball, swimming pool, horseshoe games, rock climbing wall, inflated golf course, bouncy house, basketball court, and volleyball court. This was such an amazing event and we had so much positive feedback from guests. The staff was really sweet and sent us a gift basket during Christmas. We hope for the opportunity to work with them again. I highly recommend this venue for events!
