Every week they rotate in different meals, so it never feels boring or repetitive -- I actually look forward to seeing what's on the menu. Living in Hawaii, groceries are so expensive, and meal prepping used to take up so much of my time (and money). Malama Meals has not only saved me time and effort but has also helped me save money. The portions are perfect -- I get the regular-sized meals, and they always leave me feeling satisfied without that uncomfortable, overly full feeling. On top of the food being absolutely delicious and super fresh, the woman who runs it is incredibly sweet and thoughtful. She's always kind and welcoming every time I pick up my meals, and it's clear she puts so much love and care into her business. I'm so grateful that this company exists. It's made eating well and staying nourished so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking to simplify their week and still eat amazing food!

The store is clean, there was a bit of a smell (a strong cologne) in there. Some areas of the front of the store were empty but heading towards the back was full. Dewayne recommended me multiple pre workouts. I've tried many pre workouts such as c-4, alani, bucked up, ghost (i recomend ghost), total war (i recommend this too), and black market. I'm sure there's much other pre work outs that I've used but these are the ones that i can recall using. I have the preference of 250mg or more in Caffeine as it gives me that energy, that pins & needles feeling :p Dewayne recommended "Beyond Raw Lit." 15 servings (it's a big scooper but I'd rather take half of it). 250 mg of caffeine. Not to mention, it's 2 for $30!!! 1 is usually priced at $30 or more! I was sold. He's great at making recommendations! I tried a full scoop of the blue raspberry today and wow, i got the tingly feeling to work out. I went to the gym and boy i felt great. No fatigue or headache before, during, or even after my exercises. I'd definitely recommend this product and for the deal that GNC is having for it right now. Not sure of when the promo is going to end but i also wanted to add that the larger Lit products are BOGO 50% off! I asked Dewayne, "what if i don't like it or I'm not satisfied???" Comes to find out that you can return the product and received a refund or credit after a certain amount of days. Note: keep your receipts, just in case if you aren't satisfied. Overall, the Lit preworkout is great by far, and great deal at the moment (the sale started ever since the holidays). They also offer a rewards program. Just register your number with GNC and earn points every time you make a purchase. Eventually, you can receive $5 or more off on your next purchase. Great store, great staff & service, and the location is convenient !

I got here and parked right outside at just about 7, and the lights were dimmed and the door was closed and locked. There was no sign on the door about any sort of emergency closure or anything for the day, and in fact there was a young employee who was still in there and I know he saw me and he quickly scurried into the back probably to not have to reopen and help me out. I even called the store directly while I was standing outside to see if he'd answer the phone and he just let it ring. I get it Google store hours can sometimes be wrong due to lack of update but even the physical store hour sign says 8pm. And it's not like I showed up 5 minutes before closed, I was there a whole hour before posted closing. It was a waste of my time and gas money to have to deal with this, and I just want the owner of this shop to be aware of employees potentially taking advantage by closing up shop before they should. I was looking to spend about $150 this trip and that's a sale that just doesn't happen when employees don't open the door for customers despite the posted hours.

After a long day of travel, I picked up an Amazon package here then stayed specifically to use the cafe/bar outlets to charge my dead phone so I could safely navigate the 50 minute walk back to my hotel. Every single outlet in the cafe and bar area is broken. When I asked for help, a team member named John was kind enough to charge my phone behind the counter but noted he couldn't be responsible for it. Because I was in visible physical distress and struggling to stand still due to POTS, I sat on the floor nearby to stay with my property while it charged. A supervisor named Taylor approached me and immediately escalated the situation. Instead of showing an ounce of empathy for a customer who was clearly disabled, she told me I "couldn't sit on the floor." When I asked if I could stand instead, she remained hostile and dismissive. She then claimed I couldn't use the outlets because they were "connected to the registers" and that plugging in a phone could lead to "hacking." As someone with a Master's in STEM and a career in IT, I can tell you that is technically impossible and an embarrassing, tech-illiterate excuse to use to mask poor facility maintenance. Taylor's behavior was unprofessional and frankly, a massive power-trip. If you need a functioning outlet or basic human decency in a multi-million dollar flagship store, go somewhere else. Taylor clearly values "store optics" over the actual safety and well-being of her customers.

No added preservatives mean that none of the products are exported, meaning that they will always be solely local treasures. Luckily, these gems are easy to plunder, found in any grocery store worth its square footage on the island and of course, directly from their factory in Kalihi. Don't let the brand name fool you: They make much more than just bean curd cakes in that unassuming downtown factory. In addition to okara, soymilk, and konnyaku, their natto could be considered something of a game changer, since almost all commercial varieties are frustratingly pre-seasoned with bonito dashi. Long ago I had given up on enjoying this admittedly polarizing pleasure, but Aloha Tofu's delightfully slimy little number is 100% vegan, through and through. For the uninitiated, it's generally a love or hate experience, with little space for ambiguity, although one of the best ways to ease into natto appreciation is with the aid of piping hot miso soup. The warm broth helps dissolve the stringy stickiness, while the miso paste pairs harmoniously with the funky, fermented whole soybean flavor. Even if you've found it hard to swallow before, a better brand can make all the difference in the world.
