I ordered from Go Ramble in December when my parents went on a trip to Oahu. I was looking for a way to surprise and delight my parental units, who don't vacation very often and have to put up with me on top of it. After scouring the internet for ideas, I stumbled upon Go Ramble's grocery delivery service and knew immediately this was going to be an awesome way to make their vacation that much more relaxing. The ordering process through the website was a breeze. There are great package options, however I opted for a customized list so I could add some goodies that would spoil my parents. My list included the usual eggs, milk, bagels, etc, with the addition of special items such as wine, cheese, and rotisserie chicken. I uploaded my list and waited. About 8 hours later I got a call from Diana with a friendly ALOHA! to start this terrific experience. It was pretty obvious Diana's labor is one of love. Not only did she clarify the items on my list, she suggested to add certain Hawaii staples that I wouldn't have even thought of! For the curious folks, those items include Macadamia Nut Chocolates, fresh fruit, and Tuna Poke salad that she guaranteed my parents would die for. I gave Diana the details of my parents' trip and so the rest of the surprise was in her hands. Fast forward to 2 days later. My parents had a 9hr flight to Oahu, and by the time they got to their hotel they were famished. They entered their room that had a breathtaking view, and a little something something extra... A huge basket of goodies on the kitchen counter (see photo)!! It took them a minute to add 1 + 1 and they called me squealing with happiness because I saved them from the hassle of figuring out where to get food. My boyfriend and I went to Oahu for the first time at the end of January. I got a very prompt response back from Diana, the owner, and she had some follow up questions and suggestions. I was so happy that she did because she recommended some local items I didn't even think about. She recommended ordering poké over smoked salmon, Ono shrimp chips over potato chips, Apple bananas, Mac nuts, and Strawberry Papaya (which was so Ono! I'm still dreaming about that piece of fruit). The delivery was waiting for us when we got to our Airbnb. It was so convenient! I loved the fact that we didn't have to stop by a grocery store the day we got into town, which is what we would normally do on our vacations. I just got back from my trip to Hawaii and was compelled to write a review for this little gem I found! I I travel often and like to have some essentials in my hotel instead of paying $4 for a bottle of water or $5 for a bag of chips. Let's face it, going to the grocery store is not something I enjoy doing on vacation, that's why I was excited when I found out about go ramble. I was in Oahu for 1 week and sent in a custom order : beer, wine, champagne , fruit, breakfast staples and snacks. I also requested some more difficult items like kombutcha and very specific type of muffins and they totally nailed it. They really went above and beyond on my order and got me some amazing fruit! It was so fresh and flavorful. They introduced me to a new type of bananas called "apple bananas" which were the best I have ever had! I arranged a time to get the groceries and they were there on time and super friendly. I'm kinda picky with the food I buy and my expectations in terms of service and they really surpassed them. When we arrived at our vacation rental in Waikiki, the basket of goods was waiting for us. We ordered the "Cook Free Breakfast" since we figured we'd be pooped from all the hiking and site seeing and it was great decision! Once again, GoRamble delivered a great experience for us. We were back in Honolulu for our second trip and the grocery delivery was ready upon arrival. My family landed in Honolulu for our vacation about two weeks ago and we were heading to our resort at 4:30 pm Honolulu time. My wife said she needed to go to the grocery store after our dinner reservation and I didn't know of any grocery stores near our resort and I didn't want her to leave me to bathe and get the kids down by myself. So I started googling to try to find a grocery delivery service. I called probably ten different companies and was shocked that I got virtually all voicemails. Apparently, most companies turn off the phones at 4:30 pm in Hawaii?? At any rate, the only company that I could get to shop and deliver a very custom order (with lots of allergy sensitive items) of groceries that night was Go Ramble. I was very pleased with how we were able to text back and forth to clarify on items that weren't super clear (certain brands of organic foods were specified and not always available at the Hawaiian grocery store) and so substitutions had to be specified.
