We were looking for someone who would cater our wedding at a secluded beach on Labor day weekend and found Course on IG as they have done some great work and they had great reviews on yelp as well. They have even worked for celebrities such as the Rock. The reason why is that Chef Andrew and his team are absolutely fantastic! We had a party of about 70 guests, and the Course team helped serve all the food and drinks. Everyone praised their professionalism and great attitude throughout the night and to this day. Best of all, everyone is still raving about the food. Some people have told me that "it was the best wedding food they have ever had." The appetizers were sliders and garlic shrimp. The short rib and fresh white fish were showstopper entrees and all the sides garlic noodles, rice, potatoes and veggies really completed the meal! Chef Andrew also offers a oyster bar and that was a huge hit! FYI order more than less as folks were destroying these oysters and Chef was putting in work shucking them to order. We really wanted to thank Course for making our special day extremely successful and would definitely recommend them to anyone hosting an event in Oahu! read more

Do this one! Chef Andrew and Chef Loraine were awesome. Super fast response time and they provide EVERYTHING! We did a cooking class as our team activity for 6 and we all loved it. We just showed up and got cooking lessons from the Chef who was The Rock's personal Chef! Personally, I would recommend this 100% for visiting family and friends. It was so great and such a fun time. The whole day was from about 11am - 3pm and Chef Andrew and Chef Loraine were 30 minutes early to set up and care fully prepared with all the tools and ingredients. There wasn't one thing we cooked that I could not put into practice when I'm back home. They broke down all the steps and told us a few secrets and tips too! He was able to create a custom menu which was everything that we loved. We had a special family vacation planned for my birthday. My wish was to have an intimate family dinner at the house where we were staying. My husband reached out to several personal chefs and fortunately he chose Chef Andrew. Together we planned the most amazing dinner. Through out the planning process Chef Andrew was readily available, responsive and helpful. One of our family members has a seafood allergy and Chef Andrew planned accordingly and presented her customized courses in a manner that was discrete. The evening started out with their MaiTai bar. Jackie crafted wonderful Mai Tai's and made sure our glasses were never empty. She also volunteered to be our group photographer. Additional support staff included Matthew and Phil, who were also professional, attentive and personable. As Andrew created one delicious course after another, the staff started to serve mouthwatering appetizers. Ahi Poke, Oysters and a variety of Musubi; we all couldn't decide which was our favorite. The elegantly presented Hawaiian Vegetable Salad was fresh and light. Fresh Mahi Mahi with sweet corn and shiitake mushrooms was divine and a my husbands favorite. The Beef Tenderloin with Lobster, Potato Purée and Bok Choy was savory and my favorite. For dessert Andrew served a heavenly Chocolate Ganache Cake. Andrew came up with an awesome menu in very little time and was able to accommodate my 5 (birthday) dinner guests, including a vegan menu. Included ahi poke cake, farmers salad, wild mushroom rissoto, lobster shrimp pasta, beef tenderloin, and Oreo cookie cheesecake. Although he wasn't able to conduct full personal chef services because of the COVID-19, stay at home order, he provided the full menu in a beautiful presentation. Glad I made the decision and found Course here on Yelp. Chef Andrew from the start had quick communication with me and helped me plan everything from the get-go. He prepared dinner and appetizers for 12 people and every single thing was to die for. His crew was so nice and helpful that it really felt that we were all family. He went above and beyond preparing some extra appetizers for us and also bringing a birthday cake for the birthday girl which was unexpected! He also brought printed out menus for our guests and provided anything we needed for dinner (silver wear, linens, etc.) We added on a Mai Tai bar last minute, which was such a great idea because they were some of the best made Mai Tai's we had on the island. They made sure they left the kitchen cleaner than it was before, cleaning up every last dish and clearing up dinner while my guests and I continued to enjoy ourselves. Chef Andrew Stone gave us an unforgettable experience. We rented a house in Kailua on Oahu and were looking for a personal chef to come one evening. After contacting numerous chefs, Chef Andrew was clearly the best choice. We requested a traditional Hawaiian dinner and Chef didn't disappoint us. He and his assistant Matthew came promptly at the agreed time. He'd shopped that day for all the fresh, locally grown ingredients and came fully prepared. He had Matthew set the table with cloth napkins he supplied, with printed menus wrapped in each one. Chef demonstrated each step of the cooking process for every single course. The food was not only abundant but delicious as well. Chef Andrew and Matthew cleaned up down to the last crumb, wiping down the countertops, washing the sink, hand washing all the place settings, then drying them and putting them away and finally, taking out all the trash! When they left, you wouldn't have ever guessed we'd just had a gourmet meal prepared in that kitchen. Chef Andrew is soft-spoken, professional and a real delight to work with.
