Haven't had my nails done in a long time. Wanted to treat myself with a dip manicure. this is by far the worst dip manicure ever. Very thick and lumpy. Will not return. read more

Best nail salon in town!! Great, fun atmosphere customers are treated like friends! Hannah does an amazing job and is very detail oriented and friendly. read more

Kim did my nails. Was very rude!! Kept smacking my hands when it was time to switch. Rushed me and didn't finish filling the nails all the way through... Nails actually look nothing like how I wanted them. read more

I had a decent experience at Elysian, but not great. I ended up finding a different salon down the road to go to after my 2nd visit. Pros-the salon is very clean and modern, you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and care about the upkeep which is not the case with some other salons. Their scheduling system is good, but I highly recommend to call ahead as there seems to be a wait without an appointment. Cons- I have a harsh reaction to gel nail polish so I usually go with acrylic polish and they were pushy to try to talk me into gel when I made it clear I wanted acrylic. My nails were different lengths, but I went home and filed some down to match, so double check before you leave. Also be aware that while their prices are slightly lower than other places, they charged me $6 to fix one chipped nail from my previous appointment... pretty excessive in my opinion. As I said before it's not a bad place, just some things they could improve upon if they choose to. read more

This was my first time at the salon. I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures posted on YELP. The salon was very nice and incredibly clean. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. I arrived to the salon around 4:10PM and was told I would have to wait 20-25 minutes for my fill/gel polish. The salon was not busy at all. I was the only customer waiting. After 30 or more minutes of waiting, I still had not been seated and employees were doing one another's nails. I understand that not everyone does acrylics, but I assumed that I would have been seated at the very least and my polish would have been removed. This is common practice in many salons. It is not great customer service for employees to give each other manicures instead of taking care of a customer. If they were off the clock or couldn't complete the service I requested, they should have communicated that. I was surprised to see this. I will not be giving this salon another try. read more

Love this place!! I was going somewhere else and I was pretty unhappy and paying a lot. Someone recommended this place and so I gave it a shot, and I really don't see myself going anywhere else. It is clean, the people are friendly, and I love how my nails look when I leave. I am not even someone who regularly gets my nails done, but now I have an appointment every two-three weeks. I will tell anyone I know to go here! read more

I highly recommend Elysian Nails! Everything is very clean and nice. DJ did a great job on my nails! He was very precise and made sure I liked the final results. It was my first time there and I will definitely be back. read more

I have been on the hunt for a great bail salon with wonderful techs. Lots of times I will get my nails done and ask if "this side can be filed a little more" or "can you get rid of that air bubble?" And for the most part, bail techs can get a little moody. THE TECHS HERE ARE ANGELS. They we so cheerful and wanted it to be perfect for me. I highly recommend Elysian Nails! read more

I went in for dipping nails today, and the service is not where it's should be, I have got better elsewhere, the guys nicks me literally on all of my fingers. The nails are lumpy and it's top coat not even shiny. Not earn my recommend to anyone. read more

I had a wonderful experience here! Dj gave me a pedicure and it was the best I've had in NE Ohio. I will be recommending to friends and will be back soon! read more

Clean salon, friendly techs. My pedicure was fast but the work was clean. DJ did a great job shaping my toe nails, most of which were broken and splitting. Good color selection for regular polish and fair pricing. I'm from out of town, but if I were local, I would absolutely frequent this salon! read more

I got the spa pedicure done here. My nail technician took her time to make sure my feet were perfect and went above and beyond. The price was very fair for the service. Their COVID procedures are IMMACULATE! If the whole country took as seriously as they did we would have to worry at all. You do need to schedule an appointment, text before entering, and wear a mask. I will definitely be back! read more

Went today for a birthday pedicure for my mom and I will never go anywhere else again. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The salon was impeccably clean. Felt at home from the minute we walked through the door. Thank you so much for taking great care of us! read more

This is the best nail salon I have been to in the area! The whole staff is super friendly and welcoming, the salon itself is super bright and clean. Sam and Shelly have both done my nails and I have been beyond impressed each time! :) I recommend bringing cash because it is cheaper when you use cash, but you can pay with card. I look forward to getting my nails filled every other week because I know I am going to get amazing service every time. read more

Today was my first time here. I was impressed with the attention to cleanliness and sanitary practices. Everything was clean and there was not that chemical smell in the air that is in many nail salons. The price was very fair. Alan did a great job and even cleaned up one nail when I wrecked it trying to get in my car. I would come back without hesitation. read more

Very clean salon as well as offering same day appointments. Went in for a dip powder manicure and was not disappointed. Worth visiting if in the Hudson/Stow area and looking for a nail salon! read more

Just got back from a long pedicure by Alan. Wow! What a great job and an awesomely friendly person. My legs and feet are soft and supple unlike when I walked in! They were quick to make an appointment for me when I called and I received prompt attention once I arrived. Alan offered me water or a soda multiple times (in case I changed my mind...). Alan was super friendly, talkative but it didn't distract him from doing an awesome job. I do not live here, am visiting relatives after dropping my daughter at school, but I will return when I come to back! read more

I love it here!! I went here for the first time earlier today. Everything was so clean and fresh. I was trying to find somewhere that was close to UA and that was still good. This place blew me away! If you go ask for Kim, she's amazing!! read more

I've been to quite a few nail salons and this by far has been at the top of the list. 5 star service from beginning to end - they make it a point to call you by your name from the second you walk in the door. Friendly people and frankly, the best pedicure ever! Hygienic, quality, and took their time!! DJ is the best. 11/10. Would go back again and again. read more

I initially left a positive review for this salon on their Facebook page as I was impressed with how clean and modern the interior was. I asked them if there was a place I could leave a review as I know due to Covid hair and nail salons took a big hit and I wanted to be helpful. On another visit before we went on vacation I brought my daughter to get her toes and nails painted and to get my nails filled. This salon does not have prices posted anywhere and when requested they gave me a brochure with outdated prices. When he told me the total it seemed high . I realized that I miscalculated how much my daughter's nails were (regular polish , not gel, ended up being $14 for toes and 10 for nails) I did not bring enough cash and was only able to leave a 15% tip. We were leaving for vacation the next morning but I stopped at the bank the morning I was leaving for vacation and ran across town to give them extra cash because I felt bad. One day into my vacation and my nails started breaking. At first there were three of them that split so I called the salon immediately and let them know and they scheduled me for an appointment in a week when I returned for a repair. By the end of the vacation seven of my 10 Nails had split. The first time my nails were done they were fine but I think they were splitting because she did not put tips on but rather used my natural nails which I don't think were strong enough. Not her fault it just happened. When I showed up for my appointment yesterday the owner of the salon said that they could not repair my nails because I only told them that three of them are broken and that I should have called them and let them know that broken off. It never occurred to me to call him because I felt like I would be bothering them because they had already scheduled a repair appointment for me. Regardless he acted like it was my fault. He told me they could not get me in until 1:45 and although that was right in the middle of my workday having just returned from vacation I had no choice. When I arrived at the appointment to get my nails fixed the owner , Shelly, who had done my nails prior barely spoke a word to me and then when she was almost done with my nails started a conversation with me that involved what had happened about the appointment earlier. She maintained that it was my fault and that I should've known she would not have enough time in her schedule to do that many repairs. I kept insisting that it was an honest mistake and that I didn't know how tight they schedule appointments. She said she was offended that I rolled my eyes when she was going to be kind enough to repair my nails for free. I don't remember rolling my eyes but I do know that I was frustrated when I came in that morning after the owner made me feel like I had done something wrong. I apologized for rolling my eyes but that was not enough for her. She then accused me of questioning their prices when I was in with my daughter. Again I explained that I understood that that miscalculation was my part and I even came up and left a tip the next day. She did not care about any of that. She told me this is her place of business and I was rude to her and her exact words to me were "Maybe Elysian nails is not for you. I don't want your business. " At no time did I raise my voice or get nasty. Even despite her verbally attacking me I had brought a 20% tip for her repairing my nails and when I went to get it out of my purse to give it to her she said no I don't want that. Needless to say I have never been treated so poorly. I'm a nice person and I treat people well. What started as a misunderstanding was completely turned around and thrown on me as the customer and I left in tears. Edit: in response to the salons response I may not run a nail salon business but I work for a business and we would never treat people the way I was treated. Simple misunderstandings happen every day ..it's how you handle them that sets your business apart from others. I have never left a bad review for any business so the fact that I have decided to now speaks for itself. read more

Probably the best salon around!! I wanted to get a pedicure, and the salon was recommended to me. A friend and I did schedule appointments, and we had the best time! We were promptly greeted, offered a beverage and picked out our polish. We were told about all the discounts available, and that we could bring (adult) beverages of our own to enjoy while we were having our nails done. very friendly, very professional, very clean salon. I will definitely be back!!! read more

This salon is great! Went here from a recommendation from my aunt. They just opened in December. Super clean and fast service. Called in the morning and was able to get an appointment that day. All the employees are extremely nice, even when I decided to change my polish color last minute! Nails turned out awesome, Shelly suggested and ombré glitter instead of a straight tip and I love it! Have a pedicure and acrylic set scheduled already for July! Highly recommend! Plus they have 10x more color selections than any other salons in the area that I've tried! They do take walk ins but I'd recommend calling ahead! read more

Probably the worst pedicure I've gotten in a long time unfortunately. Nails are all different length and crooked. Also a chunk was clipped out of my skin and bled the whole service...very painful. Their prices are very expensive and they charged to take off my old color which I have never seen.... so I was not expecting it to cost so much. Not worth it at all. Will not go back. read more

Always clean and so nice! I get dip and it is reasonably priced and always done well. One time it cracked and they fixed it for me ASAP which I really appreciated. Overall, never had a bad experience and even though there are a dozen closer salons to me, this one is worth the extra drive and has been my go to salon since moving to Kent. read more

So I was really excited when I found this place and I will say it's very clean and looks nice inside. However, they started a policy where they charge you $25 if you don't give them 24 hours cancellation notice. My grandfather died the morning of my nail appointment and I called and tried to explain and they still charged me $25. That is absolutely insane and poor customer service. Not to mention every time I go there they raise their prices. Every other salon I've ever gone to includes removing your old polish in the fee. At this place they charge you extra for removing the old polish which is ridiculous. Unfortunately I won't be going back and I can't recommend this place to anyone else unless you wanna take out a second mortgage on your home to pay to get your nails done. read more

My wife got a pedicure and the owner was very friendly and professional. Her toes looked great!

Super nice salon! Very pretty decor and clean inside. I was taken by Kim and she was extremely nice and warm. My nails turned out amazing! I also got a gel toe polish. She did great on that also. I used to really enjoy going here up until a few days ago. I normally get the dip but wanted to do a colored French manicure with dip so I had called to see if that was possible, I was told it was so I made my appointment. When I had arrived I was told that they don't have colored dip for a French manicure which he was sure to tell me I never asked him that on the phone which I thought was extremely rude and untrue and would have to use gel which would cost extra but was never told how much extra and me thinking it would be a couple xtra dollars considering I'm already paying for a color change which is mind you 35+dip removal which is 41 total. The woman who did my nails said the color that I had originally picked was too light to show up so she picked another color to go underneath, which ended up not being what I wanted at all. All said and done I ended up paying 70 which was originally supposed to be $40 without being told so. I was charged for a color change, dip removal, gel polish for my French tips and on top of that charged for a French manicure as well. Completely blind sided I pay for my nails and leave and see what terrible quality they are for $70!!! So I call to make another appointment to get them fixed, show up for that appointment and told DJ the owner/manager that instead of the dip I'd like to do just a solid color and he proceeded to say they have to do my nails the same exact way to get them fixed or else they would have to charge me again. I responded that they will not being getting anymore money out of me and I was very disappointed and blindsided considering I've been going here for awhile to get my nails done. And was told by the owner himself, "if you can't afford to get your nails done then don't" This place has awful terrible customer service and if you want to go someplace that's actually worth your money I would not recommend going here! read more
