Stopped in and had a great tasting with Kristopher. I called him and he worked with us to make sure a time worked last second to get in for a tasting. We only gave him 30min notice and he had no problems with it. This isn't your glamorous fancy winery. This is a small family operation with great staff and fantastic wine. We ended up spending over 3 hours hanging out with the staff throughout our tasting and truly becoming part of the family. Everyone was so friendly and answered all of our questions. They let us help mash some grapes, taste directly from the barrels, and watch the whole harvest process. Our tasting was built around what interested us and they showed us a variety of Cabernet Sauvignons. We probably tasted 6 or so wines total from a variety of price points. The tasting was $50 or free with the purchase of 3 bottles. We will definitely be looking for Elyse wines and coming back again!

I Love Napa Valley. The mountains and fields of grape vines are simply beautiful. I am friends with the previous owners of this delightful winery. What I like most about Elyse is it's tasty Zinfandel and wonderful service. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, too. You feel right at home.

What a great experience! Cubby was our host and he made sure we tried a variety of wines, selecting them based on what we enjoyed. We met the master sommelier on property and had about 1,000 questions answered between the folks tasting. $50 tasting fee is waived if you buy 3 bottles.

Randy G. was the best! We had the very best best time tasting the best wines ever!! I like white, my husband likes red! Randy introduced us to combos that pleased both. I highly recommend a wine tasting with Randy over at Elyse. We biked from our hotel and had the very best time.

What a great hidden gem that I would never have known about it if weren't for my friend ! Thanks chad !! Got to experience a few robust reds then sat for a round table discussion with seveela different flights. We talked about climate, roxka ( was it limestone) was it a wet year or dry then to taste the characteristics of each- lived it !! The wine expert was cool, down to earth and knew so much! Wish the drunk girls had more self control to make it totally enjoyable. And did I mention the gorgeous lab on the premise? Great experience will be back.

My family went to this winery yesterday and were blown away with what a great tasting experience we had. First off, we went with our infant and two year old toddler, and this winery was very accommodating. We were seated on a patio section and it was very private so my two year old could run around and play. Second, the wine was extraordinary. But, what made this tasting truly the best we experienced in Napa, was our host, Dean. He sat at the table with us and really got to know us and what we liked. He tailored the tasting based on that. He also had the best stories and was so easy-going and fun. He made our tasting truly memorable. We tried probably around 8-10 wines with very generous pours for $50/person. However, if you purchase three bottles (all ranging from $35-200/bottle), the tasting fee was waived. We ended up buying 6 bottles to get the tasting fees waived and left very happy. We will definitely be back!

One of the few wineries where all the wines I tasted were very good and well worth the price points. Appointment only winery and tasting is free if you are a member. They are well known for Zinfandel and Cabernets. They use old 100 year old vines that produce soft smooth wines. The Zins are almost like really great pinot noirs. I know that this winery was recently sold...you know that because it lacks wine dogs now.

Bliss outside the tasting room....

We spent our first part of our trip to Napa hitting up the bigger spots (which were very enjoyable as well), but getting here for our last spot really "felt" like the heart of the valley. Spent less time on the story and more time learning on the process and what goes into each label. Really got to know each part of the process, from growing to winemaking. Intimate tasting session outside. Extreme value for quality.

Currently small groups only, what a TREAT!
Jillian V.

We reserved for the max group of 6 during covid. They were very nice and accommodating with seating and the selection of wines. There were some we were able to try that were not listed on the tasting menu (which was a treat). Loved the wines, service and knowledge that Garett offered us. The syrah, zinfandel and rosés were my picks. I would suggest making a reservation a week or two in advance as we really lucked out with this winery! You'll be glad you did.

Amazing wine tasting experience.

The staff as I've mentioned before is unrivaled. Leslie, Kat, Kelly, and Ben make each visit special. It's more than just the magnificent wines and their knowledge. We were pleased to meet a new member today, Alyssa, who will be replacing Ben as Tasting Manager. Ben is moving on to other things with AO. Alyssa was nice enough to come over and speak with us, and I feel she going to be a welcome addition to the Collective. For the first-time reader of one of my AO reviews, this location is incredible. Pefectly placed on the corner of the main drag. The heart of Downtown Napa for any of our visits. Excellent for relaxing and people watching. The room is gorgeous and maintained beautifully. Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information. Owner Comment - Congrats on your family's success since 1939 and congrats to this winery's success since 1992.

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.

After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. We get there and we realize it's owned by Tamera Mowry (who is now Mowry-Housley!) There's a picture of her and her husband (a former baseball player) in the window. We're sort-of starstruck. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!

Frank was also extremely friendly and welcoming . Ray and Frank are knowledgeable and dedicated. It is definitely laid back and not high pressure. Just friendly and shoot the breeze vibes. Note that this winery sources it's grapes from elsewhere mostly in the Napa area and they focus on wine making. There isn't a large mansion, expansive grounds or caves to tour. This is a winery if you're interested in the wine label itself not a vineyard tour. We are impressed by the wines and enjoyed almost all of them. They are reasonably priced for wine purchase though I'm not used to paying $75-150 per person for tastings during the almost post pandemic Napa climate though I understand the price increase. . The wines range from $25-75 which is not considered over the top in Napa. We enjoy Saxum wines ( $100 to $500) very very occasionally and I would consider that high end , so Vinoce is definitely not on the high end in terms of price nor overpriced for their wines. Fun fact: Our host mentioned that their wines are seen on the TV show series "succession" ... We enjoyed our tasting and especially loved the Pinot and Cabernet. Our horseback riding reservation was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. We arrived on time with a group of five, but our ride was delayed approximately 30 minutes while staff waited for another reservation--a party of one--that arrived late. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have minded waiting. However, this was frustrating because during a previous visit, when our group was running late, we called ahead and were told there was absolutely no flexibility. Our ride was completely rescheduled because we were told the 1:00 p.m. ride was the last time slot of the day and they couldn't make other groups wait. It was disappointing to see that policy applied differently when it inconvenienced other guests instead. During the horseback ride itself, there was one staff member leading the group and another following behind. The guide in front shared the history of the winery, but despite riding near the front, I couldn't hear most of what she was saying. If guests are meant to enjoy the educational aspect of the tour, there needs to be a better way for everyone to hear. Additionally, it felt as though much of the staff's attention was focused on the solo rider in our group. They appeared to know her on a first-name basis, and whether they had a prior relationship or were simply trying to make sure she was comfortable, it left the rest of our group feeling overlooked. Unfortunately, the service issues continued during the wine tasting. Before we could begin, our wine consultant insisted that payment had not been made and stated he could not pour any wine until payment was collected. I had already paid in full and ultimately had to log into my bank account and show proof that the transaction had gone through before we could proceed. That was an awkward and unnecessary way to begin the tasting experience. The wines themselves were enjoyable but nothing particularly memorable. At the conclusion, our consultant simply ended the experience without offering a revisit of any of the wines we had tasted--a courtesy that many wineries provide and one we've come to expect during guided tastings. One final disappointment was the lack of any personal touches. I made this reservation months in advance for a birthday celebration and, after reading numerous positive reviews, was excited by the thoughtful details other guests described--such as personalized menus with guests' names at each place setting. Instead, we were given standard menus with no acknowledgment that we were celebrating a special occasion. While this may seem like a small detail, it's those thoughtful touches that often elevate a wine country experience and make guests feel valued. It was disappointing to see that level of hospitality missing, especially after booking so far in advance and reading such glowing reviews The property is beautiful, and the horses were wonderful and appeared well cared for, but the inconsistent customer service, lack of attention to guests, and overall rushed experience left us disappointed. Given the premium price of this experience, I expected much better hospitality and consistency. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to return or recommend it based on this visit.
