After taking my dog Lily in for a haircut, who is clearly losing sight in her eyes & cannot hear perfectly, I noticed a huge cut below her left ear. These people didn't even have the decency to mention that to me when I picked her up, I found out after I had already paid & gave them a tip. It was very strange to me that when I picked her up she was very clingy & sat in my lap the entire way home which she has never done. Who knows what else they did to my poor dog when she didn't "listen". DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. Irresponsible, incompetent & careless.

I told the groomer that my pup had a cyst removed 14 days ago just over her eye (the vet cleared Marley to get groomed and said it had healed " beautifully") and to "please avoid that area". The groomer did the opposite... i picked up and my poor dog couldn't open her eye. I spoke to the manager and she said that "they must have gotten some soap in her eyes". I was told by the "manager" that an and all vet bills would be covered. After an emergency vet visit and $700 later. My dog had an ulcer Over 3/4 of cornea and the vet said there was "substantial amount of soap in her eye". I call the owner either Tim or Tom and he refused to reimburse me for my vet bills and completely dodged all my Follow up calls. On their 2nd try, these guys were able to do an…read more*amazing* job on my super hyper mini schnauzer puppy. 7 weeks ago I brought him in, and they weren't able to do much--but honestly that is not their fault. This little bubba is on a whole other level when he gets too excited, making things like grooming & vet visits nearly impossible. No groomer would be able to handle him safely & humanely when he's like that. This salon is awesome because they don't believe in forcing the puppies to comply. They really want it to be a good experience for them. Afterward, I discussed this with the vet (who was also having a hard time controlling him) and we decided to give him a little more time to grow up, a bunch of intense exercise, and some mild Rx calming meds to see if it would help. Recently I've been getting so desperate to get him a full groom because it's been getting so hot outside & he just looks miserable when we go out. So I held my breath & made another appointment @ White Rock. After seeing my request, the owner, Chris, called me and was so so patient and kind, listening to my plight and explaining what they'd try to do and also explaining any limitations. This time, after a few hours of playing at doggy daycare and some calming meds, he was calm enough to act like a "normal" puppy instead of over the top crazy hyper like he normally is. So I brought him in. Chris came to the front to meet my little guy and talk to me to make sure that we were on the same page about expectations. I felt really good when I left, knowing that they'd do everything they could and not traumatize him....but knowing how CRAZY my puppy acts, I still had my doubts. When they called me two hours later to say they were finishing up & that I could come get him, I kept my hopes VERY low just in case. But I was SO pleasantly surprised to hear that they were able to do a *perfect* full groom on him. I really almost cried from relief! My little buddy came out from the back of the salon looking SO clean and SO handsome and acting so calm and happy, wagging his tail and looking 15 lbs lighter. I can't stop hugging & petting & admiring him...he's carrying himself differently. I can tell he feels sooo much better. He honestly looks amazing, and is currently passed out snoring from all the excitement. Highly recommend this groomer. I'll be back very regularly.

I have been looking for a reliable dog groomer since I returned to Forney. My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I will work hard to ensure it is cheaper than this one by following up on John's grooming advice.
