Located in an industrial area, the actual space is HUGE, occupying 3 units. It is spacious. Popular/high demand items are neatly displayed in the front area and it is all individually priced, re: Carhartt jackets for $80-120, North Face fleeces at $65+, etc. I didn't see any band t-shirts as advertised on their social media/website. The rest of the store had long racks with stuff like baggy t-shirts, shorts, sweats, sweatshirts/hoodies, jeans, etc. Even though these are pretty unisex items, most stuff was primarily for bros. Racks were pretty jam packed and I found it difficult to go through as there was barely any space to flip thru items. Do expect to find items were distressing, holes, & some stains. Jeans were next-to-impossible to go through as it was soo tight! Majority of the items that aren't tagged, I believe according to signs, were $20/piece. So I'm sure there are deals to be had. I just didn't have patience to do it. Maybe it's easier to buy from their online store. Store is opened 7 days/week!

It's a loft-like space with lots of natural light and really well decorated. One thing that set it apart immediately, is it doesn't have that thrift store smell. They're true to their word that they're only selecting good quality items. Sure, some of the items are perhaps a bit plain, but you don't have to take too long to find a few things you'll like. It's certainly not the case of searching for a diamond in the rough. I imagine woman will like the place even more since about 80% of the floor space is for them. There were several shoppers there and they seemed to have no issue picking out great stuff too. Also, prices are GREAT! Anyone who's 'vintage' shopped in places like Kensington Market will know that things can still have relatively higher prices. My items were incredibly inexpensive, including a Banana Republic shirt which showed virtually no signs of wear for $10. I found out at the counter that this is actually a franchise as part of a fairly large chain (which I hadn't previously heard of). Regardless, they're a very unique and welcome edition to the city.

When I came to pick up my belongings, they put my bag in a plastic grocery bag (when I left them the bag in original box and bag) and then LOST MY ORIGINAL RECEIPT. Yes, you read that right. They pretended to look everywhere and had the nerve to assume I misplaced it when they were the ones that asked for the original receipts during the consultation. This is place is so unprofessional to say the least and super sketchy. For all I know, they probably kept my original receipt and used it as proof of authenticity for the fake bags they sell. SELLERS AND BUYERS STAY AWAY!

Most of the thrift stores I've been to always have it closed or don't have any which is annoying. Overall, this thrift shop is kept clean and tidy most of the time and I would say that items are reasonably priced. The only thing I would recommend is they have more cashiers on floor. Every time I've been here there's always a wait line with only one person on the cash register. Oh also, you get a discount if you show your student card, which is nice.

They kept two items for $16, one item I took back because it's a purse that would go for wayyy more than they offered. They had so many staff there doing nothing but socializing. Platos closet needs to learn how to treat people's items for market value. They lowball so bad it's just sad. I will never go here again.
