I got my wedding dress altered here and was very pleased with the results and pricing. I came in less than a month before my wedding, but she was able to get my dress altered in 2 weeks! Great turn around time and she was very kind too. I highly recommend.

I had my very intricate and delicate wedding dress altered at Eltsa Bridal in Bellevue and they did an incredible job! They worked quickly and efficiently while being professional and super friendly. Plus the wedding dress was GORGEOUS once they were done with it. I believe this dress could have been considered a challenge because of how much bigger it was to my size, how delicate it was and the intricate beading. It was completely worth every penny to get their craftsmanship and expertise. They took the time to teach us how to bustle the train (which they had made beautifully), they advised on the length- considering my needs as it was an outdoor wedding and most importantly that I would be dancing in it. I got so many compliments on the bustle and the perfect length of the dress. It fit like a dream. There is so much talent and care in that shop! I am so glad I trusted them with my wedding dress- it really couldn't have been more perfect.

This place did an amazing service on my dress! When I first purchase my dress it was lose around chest area, the lady is very professional and efficient! A month before my wedding I realized the dress from back area as lose and I took it back, she made time for me and work around my schedule despite her busy schedule and the fact I came for second service very close to my wedding day! Thank you for making my dress perfect!

Before, with a worn, torn, and stained top, misfit bust and a waistline that did not flatter me.

When I decided to wear my mother's & grandmother's wedding dress on my big day, I knew that I needed some professional help that would be gentle with a fragile gown but also know exactly what to do. The ladies here are amazing! I explained exactly what I wanted and they gave me a fair and accurate quote right away and then got to work. They also gave me plenty of options and professional opinions on what would work best. We ended up taking the skirt completely off and attaching it to a new sleeveless bust. We then make a custom fit 3/4 sleeve top with a drop back to layer on top with buttons to attach to the skirt. It was fabulous to be able to take off the lace top later in the night when I was dancing and it was hot! And, I can now where that alone with future outfits (added bonus!). If you are repairing or altering an old gown, look no further.

Margot did a wonderful job on my dress! Eltsa does amazing work!

I had a wonderful experience getting my wedding dress altered at Eltsa. Margot did a fantastic job! My dress required pretty extensive tweaks, including raising the shoulders, basically re-sewing the sleeves to better fit me, taking in the waist and the back and adding padding in the front. They really guide you through every step of the way, which I appreciated so much, and their prices are amazingly fair for their high quality of work. The women who work here seem to have a great eye for detail and overall fit. I'm so glad I went here, they are true professionals!

The original dress, very flat bottom & no volume, followed by the final product!!

I had purchased my dress months before my wedding! I wanted something simple yet oh so gLam at the same time, something that nobody has had before!!! After purchasing my dress from a shop in seattLe I was referred to Eltsa bridal! I couLd have not been happier with the results!! This process took quite a whiLe because of how much work needed to be done, but the end result was timeless, perfect, & everything that I wanted! Margo & Marina went above & beyond, they stayed late hours with me, trying different things to create exactly what I wanted!!! Highly recommend them!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

I was given a referral from I Do Bridal where I purchased my dress. I only needed minor adjustments as my dress was nearly perfect fit and it turned out wonderfully. The price was reasonably and it was done very quick and their schedule was accommodating. I couldn't be happier.

Applique was added to the top left side bust to cover undergarment, looked original.

However, when I go to a tailor, and that is their only speciality, I expect that business to provide a certain level of quality and expertise. I don't care if language is a barrier, the workmanship should speak for itself. Bad points: 1. The shop smells like cigarettes. 2. I went there to have a basic denim dress taken in and had to spend time going back multiple times to fix errors that would never have happened with a trained professional with experience. - The waist has overlapping seams. - There is now a pleat over one pocket but not the other. - The tucks on the back end at different points and are not finished, so they will pull and open if I bend over. - The bust area is not smoothly sewn, so it sits weird. So so sad, because I love this dress. 3. Having to keep coming back to fix the issues. Good points: 1. The lady is nice. 2. She didn't cut off any fabric, so I can go somewhere else and have it fixed. 3. She charged me fairly for my trouble. 4. The shop is close to where I live. I won't be back anytime soon. Sorry.

Meeting her in person only confirmed it. She listened carefully to every single one of my needs and accommodated each one with such grace and care. My wedding dress is chiffon, and she created the most gorgeous custom bustle in the back that made it look beautifully layered and flowing. Beyond her extraordinary skill, she made me feel beautiful. She complimented me, lifted my spirits, and even took the time to teach me how to walk without tripping on my train. That kind of thoughtfulness goes so far beyond what any seamstress is required to do. After I picked up my perfectly hemmed, bustled, and altered dress, I had a small panic moment (actually, a major panic moment) when I realized the style looked slightly different than I remembered from when I originally ordered it from Anthropologie. I called Svetlana in a near meltdown, and without hesitation, she invited me to come in that very same day. Within 20 minutes, she had fixed everything flawlessly!! I was in disbelief!! Svetlana is a true miracle worker, and anyone who gets to work with her is incredibly, incredibly lucky. I will be forever grateful that she was a part of my wedding journey!!! I would give this shop 0 stars if I could. My wedding is end of August, this year…read more I picked my dream dress last July, I was told it would be "custom made to [my] unique size and specifications." The owner and staff were so sweet, the owner even hugged me. They said they would keep me updated every step of the way, they did not. I had my first fitting July 1st, 2026. I immediately brought up concerns about the size of the bust and was told it would be fixed when they took it in, if I wasn't happy with it then I could add padding. The seamstress kept congratulating me on my weight loss, I told her it was due to stress. I did not care for this as I am in recovery for an ED. I was asked to sign paperwork agreeing I got the dress I ordered so they could work on it. I brought up my concern again and was again told they could fix it. We left and I looked at pictures of both dresses and noticed several material differences between the floor model and the one I received. I went back no more than 15 minutes after my appointment ended and brought up these concerns to the seamstress. She addressed one of them, but the rest were dismissed. I fawned and left. Starting July 2nd, I started contacting the shop to express my serious concerns regarding the dresses and asking if they could be fixed, if I could get a new dress, or if I could have the floor model. I experienced repeated delays in communication which added to the stress due to time constraints. I was very polite and thanked them and apologized several times. The only solution they ever offered was to have the seamstress alter my dress, but that they were not responsible for the outcome. I repeatedly politely expressed my concerns as the seamstress had dismissed most of my issues. I asked if we could move up the appointments, if I would be expected to pay, and if I wasn't happy with my results, would I be refunded. None of these were answered. They consistently blamed my size for the differences in the dresses, stating that I was out of the normal size range. I said if these changes had to be made to accommodate my size (which I know they didn't), I should have been informed. They also repeated that this was all a normal part of the alterations process. They said they couldn't give me the floor model as it was a different dress and it would provide a "significant liability" for them to give it to me. They never explained this liability. I asked them to clarify what they meant by a different dress, and they backpedaled saying it was a different physical dress in a different size. This makes no sense. I eventually asked to buy the floor model outright. They said they would and offered me a discount that was only $100 than what I originally paid for for my brand new, "custom made" dress. They said that due to differences, the floor model was $500 more than what I paid. When we asked about these differences, she said it was due to tariffs and the designer increasing prices. I have since been told by other boutique owners that designers do not increase the cost of their dresses a year or so later. At this appointment, the owner once again tried to convince me that the seamstress could address my issues. She also kept apologizing that she couldn't do more. When I brought up my concerns, again, she told me the seamstress was a pro. I asked how much they would charge me to fix the dress, and she got back to me the next day stating that any additional changes I would like to make would cost more money. Again, dismissing my concerns. She asked to hug me again as we were leaving. I ended up getting a dress from a different boutique. After I informed them of this, they gave me two days to pick up the dress and every day past that they would charge me $15 for storage. Overall, I felt extremely dismissed, gaslit, and body shamed by the staff and owner of Forelsket. At no point in our calls, texts, or emails did anyone apologize or take any accountability. This whole process has caused me extreme stress in a time that should be so happy. I am sincerely disappointed.
