I used this cleaning service on the recommendation of a relative. I had 2 comforters cleaned…read more(Queen and King). It was expensive at $40.00 each but I needed them done quickly. I picked both up about a week or so after due date. One was extremely wrinkled which I wasn't expecting at that price point nor from a professional service. Of course, the fabric and late pick up may have contributed but I've had the same comforter cleaned before at half the price without wrinkles. Not sure what happened this time around and will seek other options in the future.

I chose to come here because they can work with leather. The tailor said there wasn't anything she could do about the kilt and brushed off my request for an inside pocket on the jacket. I drop off the jacket to be repaired. Two week and twenty bucks later I come back for the jacket. Instead of being patched, the tear is messily stitched. There's so much stitching I can feel it through the sleeve. She said she didn't have any material, not even a square inch of black leather that would have done the job. I ended up taking the kilt to another tailor who did a great job in half the time and for less than the quoted price. I'm thinking of taking her the jacket, getting the amateurish stitching ripped out and redone properly. I don't want to speak ill of the hardworking people who run this place. But I'm afraid I would be back do to poor customer service and craftsmanship.

Laundry Party LLC has no ties to NYC and the lawyers of Dash & Associates of NYC are not licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Ben has made NO attempt to amicably settle this matter, instead he's illegally hired an NYC law firm to intimidate, threaten, slander, bully, and harass me to try to force me to remove this 100% honest review. See photo I've attached, Laundry party washed my light color clothes, either with my dark clothes, or someones dark clothes. And the shirt on the right which used to be the same color as the one on the left, came back dingey blueish gray color. Ben claims my clothing is cheap quality and it faded. Thats impossible. Bens company washed both shirts several times over the course of 3 months. But the week in question, only the shirt on the right was washed by Laundry Party, not the one on the left. The one on the right as you can see, came back horribly discolored. When asked about it, Ben refused to discuss any compensation whatsoever, and instead blamed me, then illegally hired an out of state lawyer to harass me. Someone named Attorney Barbara Harper from the offices of Dash and Associates of New York City NY. Ben was apparently thinking he would intimidate, scare, bully, and harass a senior citizen into dropping this issue and removing the 100% honest reviews I have left here and on Google. Harassing, abusing, intimidating a senior citizen is illegal. Ben also lied to the lawyer that claims he has tried to amicably settle this with me. He has not. He called ONCE told me he would not compensate me and after a few minutes hung up on me. I have proof I called Ben over a dozen times, emailed several times, sent a note in my laundry bag as well, all asking politely to have a conversation to settle this. Ben knows my name, my phone number, my address as well as the contact information for the state of Massachusetts department he has a contract with, to do laundry for elderly persons. And Ben has refused to contact me, return calls, answer emails, and he refused to discuss it when asked by the state of Massachusetts department he's contracted with. Ben, nor anyone from Laundry Party have tried to negotiate this in good faith at all. He's trying to get out of taking responsibility for what happened to my clothing. See the photo, that's 100% proof a load of my clothes was ruined by Laundry Party. Ben also lied and said I never sent the clothing back so he could try to clean it. I sent it back several times and every time it came back just as dingey nasty bluish gray as you see in them photo. Now Ben and Dash and Associates have opened themselves up to have legal charges of threats, intimidation, harassment and bullying of a senior citizen. Dash and Associates and Ms. Barbara Harper are NOT licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts and have NO business sending legal communications to anyone living in Massachusetts.

At pickup, no strap loops and instead of tacking the folds they took the dress in so it was way too small and couldn't zip up! They said they couldn't fix it and offered a) refund b) to pay for a replacement dress. When I called back to say we had been able to fix it and correct the problems they caused, and only wanted the refund of $65 and not for them to oay for a new dress which would have been $200 or more, the owner refused! I thought she would be pleased we were choosing the lower amount! DON'T TRUST THEIR WORK. They don't speak the language the alterations employee speaks so how can they ever know if they are communicating to her what is needed?! SO DISHONEST.

Absolutely disgraceful. 3/25/24: As a first time customer, I went to the Westfield st location to clean two white coats for work (I'm a registered pharmacist). Upon entering the location, I was greeted with an extremely cold energy, courtesy of the front lady Tiana. There was no acknowledgment, which is fair as there was a lady in front of me. I waited in line as I watched her handle the customer in front of me attentively and sweetly for over 10min. No problems, however, when it was my turn, it was clear there was a shift in her mannerisms. She avoided eye contact, took personal phone calls while handling me, and was all around disrespectful in my opinion. As a young black professional, I pay attention to these behaviors especially when they are so sharply different from what I saw with the previous lady (white, middle age). She assured me my coats would be ready for pickup the following day at 4:30pm. Fast forward to today, 3/26/24. I get to the location and the delivery man / co-owner it seems, Rodrigo. Takes my name and notifies me that they made a mistake, and my coats are still at the cleaning location. He gave me his number and said he would pick them up and bring them, but it was close to closing, and I had a feeling this was NOT a reliable business. I followed him to the location just for him to walk out, shoulders shrugged, cowardly muttering "Looks like we couldn't get to them tonight" holding my two dirty coats. I made it clear that this was unacceptable, and he offers the first half-cooked apology I received this whole experience and a "cash app" refund. In my discussing of this unprofessionalism, Rodrigo had what appeared to be a mild breakdown as he discussed the stress he's been under with two daughters, one of which he felt the need to mention was black, since I myself am a young black man. Disgraceful. As a personal message to you and this business, if you want to be a respected father, respect yourself first. Take accountability. Take care of your customers. Please DM me for details as I am currently in the beginning stages of court proceedings (as I was not given a proper refund, and will be missing work) but to summarize, this is a terrible business that does NOT respect its customers.
