Hello to all in the Redwood City CA area. I'm visiting your beautiful town this weekend from my town, over 2 hours away. This morning I got into my car and found that my battery was dead- not a terrific feeling. Ellison's towing, and especially Kasey, made that frustrating experience disappear very quickly with some stellar customer service. Kasey was kind, engaged, positive, helpful, and efficient. He answered all my questions and laughed at my jokes. He is definitely skilled. Thank you to both Ellison's and Kasey. They are highly recommended. read more

I highly recommend Ellison's towing, I recently used their services after I was involved in an accident on 280. My Chevy Silverado went off road and Silverio was very professional and accommodating. I would definitely use their service again! Thank you Silverio for the great customer service. read more

Yesterday my Audi overheated so I called CSAA and Ellison Towing arrived promptly. My tow specialist Carlos Nerimora arrived introduced himself and got immediately to work setting my car up to pull aboard his truck. He was careful with my car, safety observant, and highly professional. Outstanding tow assistance and a giant "Thank You" to Carlos for a job well done! read more

Oliver is a prime example of what should be expected when you call a person or company to tow your car. He had a tough time getting in touch with me because I don't answer unknown number calls, he waited, and rang again a little while later. He was extremely kind and not frustrated that he had to wait around. He picked up my car, was super speedy. He had the address of the final destination and made the rest of my day easy. As a female, calling a tow person can be intimidating and he made it effortless on my end. Ellison's will forever have a client for life. Thanks Oliver for an amazing experience and a completely satisfied clients read more

I came to my car in the morning and found it had a flat tire. I made an appointment with AAA online and they sent Carlos Hernandez with his tow truck. He was there really quick and after a quick assessment came to the conclusion that it might have just been that somebody had let the air out of my tire. So he pumped it up and followed me to a close-by Wheel Works so that I could have the tire valve checked out. It turned out he was correct. Nothing was wrong with the tire or the valve. Problem solved! He was super nice and I was really glad I did not have to get a new tire for my still very new car. The folks at Wheel Works were also very friendly and helpful and did not charge me anything. I highly recommend Carlos! read more

Worst service I ever have experienced I called AAA to throw my car and I also put a required to get a ride for me too When the driver came. I said hi , thank you for coming. He ignored. Not even say hi. He asked what wrong to my car? I told him what happened and I need to throw my car to my destination He looks doesn't happy. It might because my destination is 30 Miles away. He refused me to get a ride. He said it's his option.I told him I put a required to AAA I need it . I don't know why send this guy here.He doesn't have service mind at all. If you not happy with your job go work something else His name is Jesus read more

Don't bother with AAA roadside service. Don't get the false security of having AAA or Ellison's Towing on your service when you are stuck on the road or at home. Look into your home insurance or your car manufacturer for alternative emergency coverage. read more

Casey was very helpful in getting my car battery replaced at a reasonable price when my car battery died in the evening.

These guys were fantastic. Hans and Ciano both provided efficient and professional service. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Gus came out to change a flat tire for me within the hour over my lunch break. Gus also gave me some helpful instructions and info. I was hoping to get a text from AAA so I could give them a high rating but the text never came so I'm on Yelp. Much appreciated! read more

My car rear tire had gotten flat, but Ellison Towing was there in 10 minutes and towed car to the local tire shop. Plus Anibal was very friendly and professional. Thank you again for all your help! 5/5 read more

I just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to my guy Casey Torres! If I could give him 10 stars I would. I called AAA because I was afraid that I needed a new battery due to my car being completely unresponsive. Casey looked at the battery and immediately said the battery looked too good to be replaced. He did some wigging and was able to figure out that the cables on the battery were too loose in order for the batter to properly charge itself. The connection cable was hanging on by a thread and it finally fell off which is what caused my car to shut down completely. Casey did not only fix my problem, but he fixed an issue that happened because my mechanic rushed the process of putting the battery back on prior to this incident. Thank you Casey man and I hope you have an amazing holidays! read more

Casey Torres can out quickly diagnosed the problem as an old battery and swapped it out for a new one am in about 20 minutes. Got me back on the road without having to go battery shopping and was pleasant to talk to! I hope to not need his service again but if I do I'm calling Ellisons! read more

Prius hybrid wouldn't start in restaurant parking lot and couldn't figure why. Called AAA who sent an Ellison's Towing truck driver who diagnosed it as dead battery and suggested he provide jump start and I go home to wait for another truck to come and and install new battery. Did that and Towing Truck driver Casey Torres arrived about 2 hours later with new battery which he did great job of installing (which was rather complicated). Would highly recommend AAA service and Ellison's in general and driver Casey Torres in particular. In fact, I've used Ellison's in form or another for over 60 years including back way when they had a repair shop in Palo Alto. read more

Carlos' was amazing. Came shortly after I called, diagnosed the issue and took me to a shop that could handle the issue the same day.

I was driving a 26ft Flatbed Truck from Los Angeles to San Francisco for a non-profit event. It was a long and grueling drive and took quite a while! It was already past 9pm and I was nearing my destination but had to pull off in Mountain View for a bathroom before completing the drive. Once I locked the door of the cab, I realized the keys were still inside. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Thank the powers that be, I at least had my phone. After calling AAA, Soledad from Ellison's arrived to help. She worked on opening the truck for a while, but it wasn't looking good: the truck is considered a commercial vehicle and the doors are made quite differently (and much more securely) than your average, personal use vehicle. She was having trouble and called for backup. When the guy arrived (don't remember his name), he was quick to say it's hopeless and nearly gave up before starting any attempt whatsoever. I was beside myself and honestly couldn't believe this guy wasn't even going to TRY to help us. I did my best to hold back tears as I explained my situation and the fact that it was now 10pm on a Sunday night... who was I going to call to help me?! Soledad sprang into action and continued to work on the truck, using her tools AND his, even climbing on top of the cab to try from another angle. Several minutes passed, all the while she's working hard. At some point, nameless dude kinda starts to help... MAYBE because he realized that we WOMEN were doing it on our own and his masculinity may start to be called into question. *big eye roll* If this review were about dude, it'd be a 2 star for sure. It took quite a while, and a lot of maneuvering, but FINALLY!!! Thanks to Soledad and only Soledad for being my WONDER WOMAN that night! She finally got a wire into the door to unlock the cab from the inside. MY HEROINE!!!!!!! You rock, girl. Keep up the good work and I sure hope those dudes you work with respect the hell out of you. You deserve it! read more

Today, I received flat tire service from Oliver with Ellison's Towing. Best ever!!! The service was summoned by Tesla's Emergency Roadside from the app. The estimated wait time was 75 minutes; Ellison's showed up right to the minute. Oliver greeted me and asked if I was okay. He then explained how he was going to replace the tire; and then invited me to sit in the cab of his truck so that I could watch. Oliver had the tire replaced within fifteen minutes; had me sign the necessary paperwork to complete the service; and, had me on my way. His courtesy and generosity was surprising! He was concerned about my well-being and was attentive towards completing the repair; there were no surprises or "extra" sales for the services rendered. If you have trouble on the road; call Ellison's and ask for Oliver! read more

After spending $1,000 on having my car inspected, the clutch went out in Palo Alto. AAA gave me a response time of 90 minutes. I was not pleased with the aspect of sitting in the hot sun for 90 minutes. Jose Salazar, Operations Supervisor, showed up ahead of the 90 minute time frame. He is polite, professional and his cab is airconditioned! I am pleased with the service I received from Ellison's Towing and would recommend them. read more

Mr Jose Ramos-Thank you Sir! We ended up with a flat on Halloween in our Model X in a neighborhood known for a crazy amount of kids for trick or treating. Wow. What a great experience today. First we had Casey some and help is with 4 vehicles needing new batteries. He rested each one, showed us results and then replaced the batteries, restarted the vehicles and retested. He also filled the tires for us. On the third vehicle he noticed that the brake pedal was going nearly through the floor and realized it wasn't going to be safe for driving. So he recommended we stay safe and not drive it. Oliver showed up a few minutes later wi. Th e large flat bed. He remembered us and the vehicle from a prior visit. He had it up and towed to the shop within 10 minutes. Superior 5 Star service from both of them. And what a great indicator that is for Ellisons! Many thanks. read more

After being stuck on dangerous 280, Tevita Lasukau came to the rescue! They were earlier than stated, came right up and fueled my tank, then charged my battery after learning that was most likely what happened. During traffic is not good, they came right to the spot! had excellent service from this company. My car would not start and I figured it was the battery. Battery truck arrived and could not solve the problem. He helped me a call a tow and waited for me to figure out where to get the car towed. Very kind, very polite. The next tow driver was also very kind, got my car dropped off at a local dealership for an after hours key drop, then dropped me off at a hotel to stay at, as I don't live anywhere nearby. Their service was prompt and thoughtful. inside the tow truck was immaculately clean. I own older cars, so calling AAA is a common occurrence. Have to say this is the best tow experience I ever had. read more

Never fails when I see an Ellison Tow Truck the driver is either texting or yacking on a phone. Today I got the truck # 1178 on NB 101 around 11am. I saw him swerve into the next lane so I knew what he was doing. Sure enough I pull along side him and he's dialing his phone and then yacking on it not paying attention to the road. Shame on you guys for allowing this. IT'S AGAINST THE LAW/ read more

Soledad, Jairo, and Vicente from Ellisons each came to the rescue for roadside assistance through aaa when my car wouldn't start x3 in less than 48 hours. Soledad was quick to answer the initial call and was very understanding and friendly. When my car wouldn't start the next day, Jairo followed up and confirmed it was a dead battery. Instead of towing, the car was jumped, and since his tow did not have any batteries, I could go straight home, and Vicente arrived to complete battery change. Great service from this Team! You'll be totally satisfied with this Team's service. read more
