In recent years, however, I have become interested in this hobby again. This why I occasionally visit this store. The inside is large and spacious. They have a wide selection of fabrics, paints, glitter, stickers, paper, etc. It's really exciting passing through the aisles, not knowing what you'll find. I go in knowing what I want, which is why I can't speak about service in this review. But I'm sure employees would be helpful if you had some questions. Some of the materials can be expensive. Now I remember why I stopped doing arts & crafts. Still, this is an excellent store any creative person.

This place was huge compared to the other stores in downtown. It was filled with locally-made items and food from the area and county. There were so many unique gifts and items here. We spent over an hour in the store browsing! My friend and I spent over 5 minutes talking to Patty in the food section listening to her talk about each vendor she personally worked with and knew. You could hear the passion in her voice when describing each item. The scones mix, she explained, took the chef over a year to perfect, the hot sauces, she knew every little detail. She was so knowledgeable and welcoming. In fact, all the employees we interacted with were so helpful. I've had Lundberg organic brown rice many times as they used to carry it at my Costco but I had no idea they made rice chips. One of the other employees said she went to high school with the Lundberg's kids! There were so many things I wanted to bring back home but couldn't. But at Americas 250th anniversary to get rid of their military appreciation, the constitution of the United States and pictures of our founding fathers are not as important as there paper party plates. We now live in Redding so whenever we visit Chico, I make it a point to drop in and shop. They have walls upon walls of beautiful fabrics and I'm a huge fan of all things Moda including Fig Tree, Corey Yoder and Bonnie & Camille but also Cotton and Steel and Andover fabrics and am so glad they carry these!! I love being able to touch and feel the fabric in person rather than online so I enjoy the vast amount of fabric lines they carry! Their store is always organized and again the ladies have always been very helpful and sweet. Living out of town I called and asked if they would put a certain fat quarter bundle on hold for me for about a week till I could drive to Chico and they did! I'm a self taught quilter from YouTube as having two little ones prevents me from going to classes (I believe they hold sewing classes here).
