a pepperoni pizza in a box

They don't make subs or pizza out west like they do here! Always a must have when I come home, Ellies is a SC staple! Great pizza, and chicken finger subs! The prices are very reasonable and the delivery is always on time (typically 45 minutes.) if you don't feel like waiting for a pizza, and just want a slice you're able to stop in and grab one to go! I hope they never change!

Yum!

My go to place when traveling back home for subs and pizza! Brings back fond memories and the food is still great after all these years.

Their plain chicken fingers are the bomb! Wish they had chicken finger meal with fries and celery. I'd probably live off of it.

This market is amazing. As soon as you walk in there is so much to see! They have kitchenware…read morefrom Italy and packaged foods as well -- cookies, chocolates, pastas and sauces. Then there is the fresh produce, snack items, and gadgets. When you finally make it to the back of the shop there is a deli and meat counter! We got a Caesar w chicken to share and almost couldn't finish it with the 2 of us!! And don't forget to walk into the garden center with plants and garden tools. Such a cute spot. Staff is great - very helpful. I'm glad I don't live nearby. I'd be there daily!

The market portion is sizable and has a lot of lesser known brands as well as western New York staples. In addition, they have a butcher counter and a deli counter. Food We walked over to the deli counter and ordered a few sandwiches. I went with the classic Italian on wheat, which was loaded meat and delicious. My wife ordered a turkey wrap and claimed it was one of the best she ever had. We picked up some homemade cookies and a few bags of chips at the counter to complete the meal. The sandwiches were only $9.00 for 6" which seemed reasonable. 5/5 Service All ordering was made at the counter, but staff were friendly and made it an easy experience. The staff at the checkout register were kind and offered additional suggestions that we might like as well. 5/5 Ambiance Tuscany was remarkably organized and very clean. The business was pretty busy that day, but they did a good job keeping everyone moving. 5/5 Tuscany Market & Deli was a hidden gem of the visit. They clearly had regulars that were in and out, which is the sign of a good business. I would recommend checking it out if you haven't already had the pleasure.

I've been wanting to try their Sicilian-style pizza for quite some time, and my birthday cookie…read morereward finally gave me the perfect excuse to celebrate. They already have a fantastic thin-crust pizza, so I asked if they could make the Sicilian style with the muffuletta toppings. No problem at all. It took a little longer than expected (ordered for 4:45, ready at 5:00), but it was absolutely worth the wait. Ordering is easy online or by phone. If you get voicemail, just call back - they're probably on the phone with another customer. Now, about that pizza. The thick Sicilian crust had the perfect chew: light and airy inside with a crisp, golden bottom. Every bite was loaded with the bold salty toppings, bringing a savory, slight spice/pickled kick that paired perfectly with the oils and melted cheese. The toppings reached edge to edge, creating a pizza that was hearty, flavorful, and impossible to put down. Please pencil in a visit to The Deli on a Wednesday to grab one of their pizzas. I do recommend ordering ahead to claim your dough. This version reads like a Yelp review and really highlights the texture and flavor of a loaded Sicilian pie.

Having just moved out here in Derby over a year ago we've been looking forward to visit visiting…read moreLakeside market and have heard wonderful things about it. We've been there two times already and we were so impressed with the quality of meats, seafood subs and other great products, the market has to offer. However, the reason for my three star review is for something I'm very particular about and that I really value in a business a business can have the most wonderful products in the world, but it's the customer service that really takes it over the top and I'm sad to report. I did not experience the five star service everybody has been reviewing about. I stopped in to the market and bought some Costanzo's rolls and some clams. I saw that the clams were priced 3.49 so I thought that was a wonderful price so I grabbed another when I went to check out I wasn't even greeted by the cashier who was an elderly woman with short gray hair, however she did greet the two gentlemen that were in line in front of me, strike one. When I handed her my rolls she said "oh sure you want those big rolls" as if she were judging me based on my purchase and then when it came to the clams, she rang them up and said wait a minute this isn't right I got to see then she saw the price tag marked 3.49 and then she gave me a side eyed look as if I was the one that put the price tag there? Strike two. And then to top it all off very carefully. She said I had to bag my own groceries myself having experience as a cashier never in my life have I seen a cashier tell the customer to bag their own products that should be the cashier's job and for the stellar service everyone raves about that's the complete opposite strike three. So therefore I love the products there but I have to take away two stars for service.

While there noticed the meat counter/deli and decided to pick up a couple Italian Sausage Subs. WOW! They were awesome and my wife is a tough sell. Now that we know it was there our next visit came quickly this time we went for the subs and grabbed an Assorted and a Meatball. While we waited we decided to shop a little. Some steaks a couple of their sausages some pirogies, sponge candy and other things. Heck we almost filled a cart while waiting for the subs. Now we've tried the Fried Chicken very good, Sausage sub excellent, deli case sausage, beef sticks, Friday fish fry, fried shrimp etc on and on. We're always treated well and given help and recommendations when requested. We absolutely recommend this local gem.
