We've been there two times already and we were so impressed with the quality of meats, seafood subs and other great products, the market has to offer. However, the reason for my three star review is for something I'm very particular about and that I really value in a business a business can have the most wonderful products in the world, but it's the customer service that really takes it over the top and I'm sad to report. I did not experience the five star service everybody has been reviewing about. I stopped in to the market and bought some Costanzo's rolls and some clams. I saw that the clams were priced 3.49 so I thought that was a wonderful price so I grabbed another when I went to check out I wasn't even greeted by the cashier who was an elderly woman with short gray hair, however she did greet the two gentlemen that were in line in front of me, strike one. When I handed her my rolls she said "oh sure you want those big rolls" as if she were judging me based on my purchase and then when it came to the clams, she rang them up and said wait a minute this isn't right I got to see then she saw the price tag marked 3.49 and then she gave me a side eyed look as if I was the one that put the price tag there? Strike two. And then to top it all off very carefully. She said I had to bag my own groceries myself having experience as a cashier never in my life have I seen a cashier tell the customer to bag their own products that should be the cashier's job and for the stellar service everyone raves about that's the complete opposite strike three. So therefore I love the products there but I have to take away two stars for service.

Thankfully new owners rescued the market and have created a great deli/pizzeria/market in this once vacant, conveniently located space! Most recently my Dad and I ordered a large pizza with one topping (mushrooms) which was pretty pretty tasty. The place can get really busy so plan accordingly. The price of the large pizza as of New Years Eve 2023 was $24.03 with tax paying with a credit card. Can't complain, the large pizza was decently sized and good. When I was in picking up the pizza, I also spotted a variety of meats in the display case. The service from Kalin was great. I look forward to returning in the summer months and checking out the fruits and veggies. Until then, sandwiches and pizzas are the way to go.

Secondly this was the 3rd time I tried to order delivery and they told me they were only doing credit cards tonight and I'm sorry I'm not paying a 3% credit card fee when they are refusing cash payments. Their is no real customer service with the AI answering system, yes you can get to a person but you shouldn't be told by the AI to order online where they will only allow you to play the order if you're paying with a credit card so the cash customers like myself who don't believe in using credit cards all the time because you can spend more than you have. This place lost my business for good and now I'll make sure everyone knows how crappy their customer service is and how they are trying to force you to pay with a credit card and then you have to pay 3% more than cash customers. Sadly I see this place going out of business with the crappy service they now give you.

The toppings reached edge to edge, creating a pizza that was hearty, flavorful, and impossible to put down. Please pencil in a visit to The Deli on a Wednesday to grab one of their pizzas. I do recommend ordering ahead to claim your dough. This version reads like a Yelp review and really highlights the texture and flavor of a loaded Sicilian pie.
