After trying three or four different groomers over the last nine years, we have finally found a place we can truly trust! We recently brought in our 15-month-old Goldendoodle, Zoie, and our 9-year-old Labradoodle, Bella, and the results were absolutely excellent. The staff at Ellie's are extremely friendly and personable. They took the time to listen to exactly what type of cut we wanted, showing they genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners' preferences. Both Zoie and Bella came out looking fantastic, with grooms that were perfectly executed. The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, and very welcoming, which made us feel comfortable leaving our girls there. It has been a total five-star experience from start to finish. We will definitely be repeat customers! read more

Update: I take both my Coton de Tulear and pug. They always do an excellent job cutting the Coton's hair and deshedding the pug. The pups go in happy and come out just as happy, so I know they are treated well. read more

Great place, owner is super nice cool. Highly recommend! This is the place for dog owners and dog lovers.

I went in a couple of weeks ago to check the place out and talk about their services. The inside is clean and all the dogs that I saw looked happy and well taken care of. I decided to book an appointment after having to part ways with our regular groomer. The day arrived and I dropped my girl off for the last appointment of the day at the suggestion of the nice lady who helped me book. I explained to her that Stella came from the shelter and is up in age now. I also mentioned that historically she is leery of men and we would prefer a female groomer. I reminded them of that when I dropped off. I was so nervous the whole time. When i got the call to pick her up I was there in 5 minutes. Roberto brought her out to me and said she did great. I asked who groomed her and he said he did. Stella looked happy as he was bringing her out. I was slightly put off for a hot second because I reminded them about wanting a female groomer. But Roberto was so nice and I can tell he's a very caring and kind man. Stella looks and smells amazing! When I book her next appointment, I will request that she sees Roberto! read more

My large pup ( 106 pounds) has been going to get groomed at Ellie's since they were in Antioch. I appreciate how they text me to schedule and they always take Scotch same day. Scotch ( my dog) enjoys going and doesn't make a fuss. I think he likes his spa day at Ellie's. Thank you for taking great care of him. read more

I had an appointment with this grooming place. While waiting for my turn I was watching one of the groomers. She was handling the puppy she was grooming very rough. That dog wasn't aggressive just scared. I decided not to use this facility. I'm sad because it s quite close and convenient for me! read more

Terrible experience with Ellie the owner. Brought of my dogs in said 8 for both dogs black dogs head and ears. Short yorkie face. First off when i picked them up black dog had to have his ears still cut.My yorkies body was horrible cut(long in some places, choppy In others. So I brought yorkie back. Asked if they could go over her body again.Ellie came up and proceeded to tell me that the problem is your dog is loosing her hair.(WTH!!) I could not believe that she put this on my dog!I asked if she was going to do it or not and I would go to my regular spot. Ellie became upset and told me not to talk her like that.It was a simple question no need to get upset. Anyway I will never go there again!Ellie should have respect for her elders.Need to learn a little English so there is no confusion. At that Used a 7 length even though I clearly said 8 length. People at counter should actually write cuts down.He did not even question my directions. Sad I always try to support our Hispanic businesses. I am Puerto Rican/Mexican read more

Ellie and her team are very professional and great people. They take care of our fur babies and groom them. Highly recommended:)

I have three Maltese's. What I like the most with this groomer is they have me drop off my dogs and they work on all three of my dog in a timely manner. They don't let the dogs wait for hours in a crate. The first time I dropped them off here all 3 dogs were done in 2 hrs. Lately they are done in 3 hrs. Dogs comes home lively and alert not sleepy unlike other groomers. Staff is also very nice and friendly! . read more

I made an appt with the day before & wanted to make sure I got the first morning appt. When I arrived exactly at 9am, I walked in and really admired how nice and cute this salon is. They then took in my Zoe. They informed me that her grooming would arould take about 1.5 hours. I called about an hour and 15 min later but they said it's taking a little longer. I went ahead and drove back down and waited until they were done. Overall the staff is very sweet and respectful, and as I watched Zoe being groomed by Ellie I witnessed her being gentle and did a great job on her! We will definitely be back. read more

Made an appointment a week ago for an 11:45 am appointment, the day of i called 30mins to follow up on appointment and got a voicemail. So i figured they were busy and headed over to groomers. Walked up to doors and it seemed that the shops lights were on in the back. Tried knocking after no one answered the phone. Called number on door for Elizabeth as instructed on note hanging on door. Nothing. Very bad business. I do not recommend this place. Waste of my time driving over here on my day off. Would of been nice if they called back to respond to their customers. read more

First time taking both my dogs here. First interaction was weird he made me fell uneasy when I showed him a picture the way I wanted my poodles cut, he hesitated and then said ok. When it was time to pick them up they looked funny, I hated it so much that I was lost for words but whatever I let it go. When we got home I then noticed a cut on my puppy's nose, which is crazy to me because I cut her hair before and she not aggressive nor does she move a lot. I did notice that there is a bunch of grandmas cuttin hair that I'm sure just tryna make some money because they don't know what they are doin. I would rather go to Petco. Definitely not goin back after my dog looked like king Julian off Madagascar with a clipper cut on her nose. read more

Brought Chico The Chihuahua in today as a walk-in for a nail clipping. I had totally forgotten how much Chico hates having his paws touched. And obviously there is no other way to clip nails without touching paws. So Chico was rather upset about the nail clipping, which I was not expecting. And he showed it. Ellie and Alex were so gentle and caring and understanding with him. They even filed his nails after clipping them so they weren't sharp. If they'll have us, we'll be back! read more

They are using deceptive tactics, their sign says 35 dollars for a #2 hair, bath , trim etc The gentleman who works there told me I should take that option and I did When I arrived to pick up my pup they charged me 65 dollars because he's too big! He is a Cavalier king mix with cocker and only 42 lbs! There was no sign of the gentleman that gave me the 35 dollars option and there was no other signage saying 65 dollars only a sign that said 35 dollars When I said that there was no signage she said they would put it up later! What kind of business practice is this I have never complained about any better till now Definitely don't recommend!!! read more

First time I took my dog they did amazing I loved it I even recommended ellies grooming. People there are very nice and gentle with her. Las couple times a haven't been very good experiences both time I took my dog she came back with a uneven cut on her front legs almost looks like a bald spot and they cut too close to her eye and it was red like a scrape. This last time I took her again she had the bald spots and they glued her bows on to her hair. I'm very disappointed won't ever coming back again sadly. read more

Terrible! Made an appt, dropped off my Goldendoodle for grooming, and 10 minutes later they call me to pick him up bc 'he's aggressive' and trying to bite. Me llevé a mis 2 perritos. 1. La tripulación es profesional y honesta. 2.
