I scheduled an appointment for mobile grooming and he reminded me in advance and arrived on time. He let my pup smell him and was very friendly approaching him. The entire service took an hour and a half and my pup looks and smells great. Way better than Petco who charged me about the same price but left my dogs fur patchy and his skin was cut. Not to mention he got so nervous and angsty since he was crated for over 4 hours in an unfamiliar place. No cons or areas of improvement. You have a long-time customer now!
Lloyd did a great job on our 10 yr old grumpy dog, apparently he's not grumpy with others just us! Our boy has only been groomed by one person since he was 2 yrs. and changing groomers was a big deal for all of us. My puppy Coco was due for a groom. Luckily, we found Lloyd! I really like the fact that he is mobile. Its super convenient. I have to admit; I was nervous because Coco is a covid pup. He didn't have much social contact other than me and my family. However, Lloyd was so patient with him! He said he did great for his cut, which was wonderful to hear. When I saw Coco, I thought his haircut was so so cute and he smelled yummy. Lloyd's work is fantastic. I love how he shaped Coco's his face and his Dorito shaped ears, haha. He shaved Coco's arms and legs so well. I love his little pointy paws instead of his grinch feet. And his paw pads too! Now when he plays, he isn't slipping or running in place like Scooby Doo. I would say my favorite feature is how white Coco's coat was. He was literally glowing! Take a look at his before and after! Definitely going to recommend Lloyd to my friends and family. Thank you for being so patient with Coco! Looking forward to Coco's next appt!

I found Lloyd off Yelp and so thankful I did! Our 14 year old Chow has been going to PetSmart for his grooming but since he's gotten older, he's been tough to work with. The last two times we took him there, they left all the hair on his legs and didn't finish his cut because he was being very stubborn! He looked ridiculous. Never liked the fact of him sitting in a crate all day and being stressed with the other dogs barking and whining. We had another mobile groomer last year and she ended up charging us a ridiculous amount. I was in contact with Lloyd through Yelp at first. He was very responsive, detailed about his work and he had availability the next day! He can be contacted through text which is great. He charges by time and not the breed and his pricing is very reasonable. I wasn't home while Bubba was getting groomed but he ended up spending three hours on him and didn't up charge us an outrageous amount. I knew our Chow was difficult, plus he has some leg issues right now so I was a bit worried Lloyd wouldn't want to groom him after this time. Lloyd did an amazing job and Bubba got a fresh shave for the hot days coming up. He smells great too! He wasn't turned off by Bubba's difficulties and got the job done. So lovely to work with and he has a great attitude. He will definitely be out go to groomer from now on.

First time dog owner here. I have been grooming my 6 month old pup since we got him a few months ago. Glad I caved and tried a pro. Lloyd was friendly and took care of my little guy ensuring his haircut was what I wanted. Lloyd delivered the summer cut I wanted and now my pup can see. We definitely plan to use Lloyd's services again.

Rarely do I submit a 5 star review, but Lloyd is definitely deserving and has earned it! He has revived our 12 yr. old boy, Tiki. It was so difficult finding a new groomer that can deal with Tiki's temperament. The local groomers had no patience with Tiki, so we drove him to a groomer in Dixon for the last 6-7 years. She had to relocate to another state, leaving Tiki in bad shape until we were able to find someone brave enough. Thank goodness for, Lloyd! We will surely keep Lloyd busy with bathing and grooming Tiki every 3 months and with Rocco our American Bully, too. Lloyd is highly recommended!! Worth every penny!

My puppy Coco was due for a groom. Luckily, we found Lloyd! I really like the fact that he is mobile. Its super convenient. I have to admit; I was nervous because Coco is a covid pup. Lloyd did a wonderful job this week with my mini labradoodle, Cocoa (6) and my mini bernedoodle puppy (6 months). He was on time, conscientious, super friendly with the dogs, really wanted to hear my end goal in mind (even asked me to text him a model photo of a dog whose grooming I liked and envisioned for my dogs) and I could not be happier that I found such a skilled person who will actually come to my home. He took two hours on each, really did a fabulous job, and that same day, I rec'd a text with an opening five weeks out. What a godsend. Thank you Lloyd. read more

Our 11 year old golden had her first appointment with Lloyd yesterday and she looks amazing. After seeing all the awesome reviews and reading about how well senior dogs are treated by Lloyd I knew we had to get our girl on his schedule. Watson is our pre-COVID rescue dog. We wanted to get him to a groomer and had to wait til now and it was more that worth it. Lloyd is amazing. He kept our socially skittish 3 year old calm and was able to maintain the relationship through out the entire grooming process. Watson was relaxed afterwards with having all the grooming completed. And he smelled like coconut which I loved. Our skittish dog was calm, relaxed, and impeccably groomed from head to toe. We are looking forward to Lloyd being Watson's groomer and recommend him with as high a rating that I can give. read more

I met Lloyd for the first time today. He was highly recommended by a friend I trust. I'm so glad I listened to my friend! Lloyd was so sweet and gentle with our pup before he even started grooming him. Mochi (the pup) immediately trusted him. Mochi came back clean, happy, and even smelled good. This was our first mobile grooming experience and Lloyd treated our puppy and us like family! Lloyd was very respectful and patient with our new puppy Scruffles. It was Scruffles' first haircut and after Lloyd was finished he looked like a new dog! We had no idea on what type of cut would look good on our dog but Lloyd sure did! I priced checked around for mobile groomers and Lloyd was right in the middle which was very convenient! So very happy that I chose Lloyd's! This was my puppy's very first grooming session, so I was a little anxious. Lloyd was very patient with me and receptive to my requests before he groomed my puppy. When I say puppy, I mean my four month old 45 pound Bernedoodle. He has long wavy fur that takes a long time to not only wash and rinse but comb through. My husband and I decided to take our baby Oso to Lloyd as his previous groomer was having a hard time with him biting at her when she tried to trim around his face/eye area. Oso always gives us a hard time when we try to trim him ourselves, usually he will wiggle his way out of our arms and try to bite at our hands when getting near his facial area to trim. Anyway, with that said we decided to try Lloyd. I gave him a call and explained to him the issues we were having and he was kind and said that he would give it his best shot and that sometimes dogs, just like humans, don't like to be touched in certain places but he would try. We were happy to give him a try so on Thursday 3/12/2020 my husband walked Oso over to Lloyd (as we are practically neighbors). Lloyd had Oso for about 2 hours and then text my husband to let him know he was ready to be picked up. When my husband picked him up he said Oso looked happy and he was happy with his cut. I was waiting to be picked up from work and my husband was already running late for me so he paid Lloyd the $100 and left. When I got in the car I seen Oso's haircut and thought he looked cute but so bare! I didn't have much of an issue with his cut because I think Oso is perfect no matter what he looks like. What caught my attention though was his right eye as it was bloodshot (see pictures). I asked my husband what happened and he said he didn't know but noticed the redness and was waiting for me to see him before we asked Lloyd anything about it as Oso's eye was fine (and has never had eye issues before) prior to his appointment. I thought maybe we would wait a couple hours to see if it goes away and just monitor his behavior. Towards the evening his eye worsened and became like the color of oxblood and Oso began pawing at his eye and rubbing it against the couch and whining. We became worried and wondered if this was something worse so we took him to the ER Veterinary in Antioch. Long story short (I realize this is lengthy already), the ER vet said this is likely due to trauma and wanted to run very expensive tests that we just couldn't afford at the moment. She assured me that Oso will be fine for the next 24 hours but HIGHLY encouraged us to follow up with our primary vet. We took Oso to Antioch Veterinary this afternoon (3/13/2020) where they ran tests and concluded that he has no internal eye scratch but that the bloodshot was due to pressure/force to his head area. I had a bad feeling from the moment I saw Oso's eye that he was likely being held forcefully by Lloyd to make him stay still in order to trim his facial area but I didn't want to think that as it broke my heart to think that my baby was being forcefully restrained. I know Oso and there is just no way he let a stranger that he just met for the first time trim his face without putting up a wiggly fight. Anyway, all of that to say that I asked Lloyd for a refund and also to reimburse us for the expenses we paid to ensure Oso is healthy and not injured. He refused. Here are the screenshots of our conversation. I'm not one to put people on blast or try to ruin any kind of reputation or say ill things about them to people but I am truly shocked by this. It's just not right, this happened on Lloyds watch and care and THE LEAST he could do is apologize and offer a refund as we were not satisfied with the results (a bloodshot hurt eye). I did say that I would file a complaint and take legal action but it will cost more than the $197 it cost us to make sure our baby is OK (not to mention the additional $100 grooming fee). I expected him to take some responsibility and do the right thing that any good business owner would do for a dissatisfied customer. I understand that people make mistakes, I understand that accidents happen, even if it was Oso being difficult, but at least own up to it and accept SOME KIND of responsibility. I wish nothing ill towards Lloyd but I sure hope that this is not a common occurrence with the services he provides to our fur babies. I have posted screenshots of our conversations (12 total numbered in order). Anyway, just beware no matter where you decide to take your pets. By the way, Oso will recover and is back to his happy self! read more

I require shots in general, but with small pups, their nails grow just like the adult pups, but aren’t able to get all of their requirements all at once. I see no reason a puppy can’t get their nails clipped, it’s a matter of safety as well.
