Danielle was exactly the groomer who I was looking for. My dog Chewy, a rescue has high anxiety when around other dogs. He does not do well in cages especially when he becomes distressed. Keeping this mind, I researched different groomers although I found many with excellent reviews, dropping him at a shop would not work. My criteria was to find a groomer who does in home grooming, experienced with anxious/skittish dogs, skilled in grooming Silky Australian Terriers, and offered weekend appointments. Danielle meet all these criteria's and even more. I strongly loved her approach in working with Chewy rather than making it work. Through out the grooming session, she introduced grooming tools slowly and in a nonthreatening manner, so Chewy can have a positive experience. My dog absolutely hates baths, but she was skilled in performing this part of the grooming session. Without hesitation, I scheduled out another grooming session. I could of gone to Petco or PetSmart to save money, but I knew my dog will not receive the attention he needs. Plus I did not want to hope that my dog's groomer knows how to groom a Silky Australian Terrier. Why not go to a professional groomer/salon? I compared Danielle price to professional groomer/salons. Honestly, it was about the same or just a bit over. And I am glad that I choose to go with Danielle. I can 100% gurantee she gives my dog the attention and care that he needs since I am seeing her work. A salon no matter how professionally competent are tending to other dogs.
