I appreciate the way they care for my furbaby; I always feel comfortable when I drop him off knowing that he can roam free rather than being kept locked up. The staff is amazing. We've been taking our two small dogs to Shear Canine for several years, every two weeks. Once a month for a full groom, once a month for a bath. Jamie is wonderful with our dogs, as is the rest of the staff. They tell us if there's the slightest problem, (I.e. skin problems or -OMG- a flea spotted!) which there never has been on their end. My dog is very skiddish but seems to be ok with the staff here. I think he likes to hang out with the other dogs while waiting for his turn/pick up. We love Shear Canine so much. We started using them when they first opened. Then, some time later we moved out of the area. We have been gone for 4 years and I have yet to find a comparable dog groomer. So, I made the 80 mile (one way) trip to take our fur baby back to them. It has been 4 weeks today and she is still looking good. She has a brindle coat, with the exception of a big mane of white fur around her neck. She is still white. I have not had this success with any other groomer. Their prices are fair and they are efficient and timely. It's so hard to find quality people that care. Oh wow... now I get the 5-star rating! Our mobile groomer canceled on us the night before my dog's appointment and waited to reschedule a month later. My little scruffy pup was in need of heavy duty grooming. I rolled the dice and called Shear Canine for a third time. First time, I was told they could take him until December because they were booked. Second time I called, it went to voicemail. Third times a charm, they answered and scheduled my dog to be groomed within a couple of days. I was nervous when I arrived because they had big dogs in the grooming area hanging. Luckily, they have a spot in the back where they keep the smaller dogs before and after. I like that I was asked how I wanted his fur cut and the length. They had a fur swatch card for reference. This place was absolutely amazing! The staff is super friendly and put me right at ease. I was supposed to leave my puppy there for 2 hrs, but got such separation anxiety that i came back after 1:30 hr. My big Pyrenees absolutely LOVES his groom team; he has a blast every time we take him, and he always comes home smelling and looking fantastic. They are very communicative and open to requests. All I ask for is his top coat trimmed down with NO shaving or clipping of his undercoat, a blowout, and to neaten up his tail. They never miss a single detail, and even noticed where his fur had thinned a bit due to a naughty foster puppy chewing at his side and tail.
