We came here to finally try their popular desserts but we stayed for dinner!…read more We loved the drinks and our food. We ordered a board as an appetizer and waited close to 35 minutes for it before our server realized she never rang it up. We were upset as we wanted something to snack on as we waited for our meal. She offered to quickly have it made, but our food was almost ready and it did not make sense to us anymore at that point. But no other resolution was offered. The food was great, but it took a while to get our food. It didnt seem to be busy, yet they where slow. Im sure if we had our appetizer, we wouldnt have noticed the 45 minute wait. We loved the cheesecake and the mocha cake! Drinks where very nice and strong. Overall, i loved it here. Hopefully next time ill be able to get my board!

It was a really good experience. We started with the baked Brie appetizer and it was delicious ( forgot to photograph that). I'm a vegetarian and love the fried zucchini sandwich but today's lunch special was a spaghetti squash special and it was delicious! I highly recommend it. Hubby had the smash burger and fries and all was good. I had a special cocktail called Blue Eyes something that was very refreshing. Elise gave us very good service and as always, I got a piece of Tropical Cake to go, that will last for days. Other than parking being tough, this is a great place for girls days, lunch with the hubby, etc.

I really wish it had a softer lighter bite but it lacked any sponginess. I realized quickly we would need some milk for coffee to wash it down. The icing was divine though. The caramel drizzle on mine was sweet but not overpowering an in perfect balance. I just really wish the cake itself had been better. I know people prefer different density in their cakes but I'm of the moist and spongy variety. Also the price is a bit high for the cupcake size especially given the quality. Service-10/10. It's counter service but the staff is welcoming and quick to assist. Atmosphere-10/10. Not too difficult to find amid a strip of stores. It's clean and cozy enough with nice seating options. The service and location were appealing but as it's not the type of cakes I enjoy I likely would not return .

The restaurant is a little on the smaller side but cozy. Service was super friendly as well! I ordered the following: Keto breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese: 9/10 - it was so delicious oh my goodness! It was pretty huge too! You can have your choice of bread and I chose a flatbread. The egg was fluffy, cheese was melted, and the bacon was crispy. Who would have though the sandwich was entirely keto friendly too??? Keto cheesecake: 8/10 - I didn't know it was crustless but nonetheless, it was delicious. It had caramel, chocolate drizzle, and nuts on top of the cheesecake layer. The cheesecake itself was creamy and flavorful. They had plenty of carb friendly and keto friendly desserts like brownies, cakes, and cupcakes in their display. I've had their keto cupcakes before and it's kind of dense but it tastes good with not alot of the fake sugar aftertaste. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and desserts. I will be back to try other things for sure!

Along with working in a coffee shop I have also visited hundreds of them over the years and I can…read moresay without hesitation that Social House Coffee absolutely stands out. It's just a quick scooter ride from my boat, making it an easy destination whenever I need great coffee and an equally great atmosphere. The staff are the most welcoming, professional, customer-focused, and genuinely personable team I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am always glad I stopped in. The shop isn't large but it is a warm and inviting with comfortable indoor seating as well as a pleasant outdoor shaded seating area in a great neighborhood on Herschel Street. Coffee nerds will appreciate the beautiful Victoria Arduino Black Eagle espresso machine, a fitting centerpiece for a café that clearly takes its craft seriously. I also appreciate that they still offer 2% milk as an option as many coffee shops have eliminated it in favor of only whole milk and alternative milks, so it's a welcome choice for those of us for whom whole milk is no longer an option. Most importantly, Social House Coffee is one of the few cafés I've visited that truly embodies the "third place" philosophy and is a place you want to spend time. Whether you're stopping in for a quick espresso or settling in for a while, it feels like a community rather than just another coffee shop. If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. It's the kind of place that reminds you what a neighborhood coffeehouse is supposed to be.

I asked him what he recommended and Patrick was spot on! He was attentive, courteous, professional, and maintained a great sense of humor. He made this visit worth 10 stars, not just five. My friend had the shrimp and grits, which she said is great. I had the hamburger with eggs. The hamburger was cooked to perfection the way I like, and it was not dry. However, the buns were put on the grill way too long, and they were burned one in particular almost beyond recognition. That part was sad that they would see that the bun is burned, but they send it out anyway. The bottom bun was still burned but not nearly as bad as the top, as the top one was 100% black. That part was a bit of a disappointment, but the service from Patrick truly made up for it. The local is very good place if you want something locally owned, established, and maintained. It has a warm, welcoming, inviting atmosphere that makes it worth the visit. Patrick, however, was the highlight

We loved the service, and the appetizers and drinks were good! The meals were good overall, but I do think there is a little room for improvement when it comes to the entrees.
