I used to do much of my shopping on line and kept having to return stuff. I discovered EB and love the owner's impeccable taste in the clothes, shoes and so on. What's nice is being able to try on everything in a comfortable setting. Even though some of the prices is higher than I would spend she also has very affordable pieces that could easily compete with other places I've been to. Although I love this store, the owner Elizabeth has a bad attitude, which makes me not want to shop there. There is a great selection of lifetime clothing (versus throw away crap) and the staff is insanely helpful. It's like you have a personal shopper with you. I love it. But the owner, Beth. Ugh. What a sad, sorry lady. Anytime I've been in there, she barely makes eye contact. Barely says hello. Always has a scowl on her face. Never seems happy. What's the deal?! And, her dog wanders around the store. He is clean and friendly, but if I'm dropping $150 on a sweater is rather not have a dog hanging around it. I would shop here more often (outside of seasonal sales) if the owner was more welcoming. She should really understand that the customer is her cash. You wouldn't want to lose a dollar to a bad attitude, would you? read more

I love this store, the owner Beth, Freddie her handsome dog and her staff. I admire Beth and how hard she works for the community and her clientele. She knows her customers by name and helped me pick out clothing flattering to my body and style. It's rare to find an owner dedicated to providing a great service at an affordable price. She has an email list and let's us know about swap sales, coupons, happy hour gatherings where she offers free food and a chance to mingle. Just go! Elizabeth has beautiful clothes, fair prices, and helpful staff. A little disappointed that many of the brands that were in the previous location are no longer offered in the current store. But, there are still a lot of beautiful clothes and a large selection of very pretty jewelry. Not a big selection of footwear, but the shoes and boots they do offer are super stylish. I just bought a pair of jeans over the weekend there and I LOVE them. I'll be back soon! read more

I love the store itself and the clothing. Everything is great quality, but every single time I go into this store, the owner is always SO unfriendly. This is not just a one time thing, it's an every time occurrence. She's unfriendly, always looks upset or mad, even at the dutchess county fair and other fairs I've seen her at. shes not warm and welcoming, which she should be, especially if she owns a business!! I've worked in retail all my life and can say, that If you don't greet your clients within the first 10 seconds of them walking in, it makes a lasting impact. I'm not sure why she's like this, she was rude to my mother too. And it takes a lot for my mother to mention anything like this to me. The other people on her team seem much more friendly and helpful. Idk, this woman is losing big business because my mother and I both shop there frequently, But not any longer if the owner doesn't change her attitude. I don't recommend going there If you're expected to purchase expensive clothing and be looked at in a rude way the whole time. Change your attitude, lady! EB was a great boutique when I lived in the area awhile ago so I was excited to see the new location. Unfortunately when my friend and I walked in and looked around for a few quick seconds we were asked to leave because the store was closed...even though we were already inside and looking.. My fault for not checking the closing times? It's a shame since it seemed like there was a lot of nice inventory. But I really don't appreciate being asked to leave shops when the doors are still open, so not sure I'll be back. read more
