More generally, I appreciated how there was a nice range of brands across all the product categories including some brands you simply will not find elsewhere locally. If top-notch specialty run product selection is what you're after, this is the place for you. But wait, there's more... The service here is phenomenal. For those unfamiliar, FFS has a few tools at their disposal to help find the "right" shoe for you. This includes 3D foot scanning and gait analysis via video recording and slow motion playback. I was assisted by Jill who was very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and efficient. I was super impressed with how a "history" was taken first (i.e. running background, injury and shoe history, current shoe wear pattern, etc.). Of course, the anthropometric data from the 3D scanning was interesting but I really feel as if I've developed an intuition for how it should be used to inform the shoe selection process from this experience as well. I also really liked being able to take part in the gait analysis. This is something I tried to do by myself in the past but nothing is quite as awkward or seemingly narcissistic as trying to take a slow motion video recording of your own legs at the gym. Yikes. To be clear, it's not simply the technologies themselves but rather the thoughtful integration of these technologies and data into the shoe selection process by highly adept staff and the sharing of this expertise that makes this place exceptional and pretty much inimitable. This is the single greatest point of differentiation between FFS and competitors; it's the reason I now refuse shop elsewhere for trainers. Highly recommended.

While I was looking around there was a customer running on a treadmill trying out running shoes, before making a purchase. The staff seems more knowledgeable about shoes, orthotics, foot anatomy, and how to fit shoes, than most shoe stores do nowadays. I should have asked if anyone had taken the test for to be a certified pedorthist? No matter now. Although, I didn't find what I was looking for; what impressed me the most is there was no "hard" sell tactics or being brushed off because i wasn't buying shoes that day. I will keep them in mind if someone I know is looking for proper chasseur (shoes). = )

From the second I walked in, I felt incredibly welcome and was greeted right away. I came in for a store pickup, and Israel was phenomenal. He had true southern hospitality, carefully looked for my package, and apologized for the wait (which wasn't even long at all!). The female retail associate working this Saturday was also very helpful, and I'm only sorry I didn't catch her name to thank her properly. The manager, Anthony, was incredibly professional and attentive. He put a lot of detailed effort into working on our hats exactly as we asked--assisting with reshaping my hat, which had been a little bent from travel, and resizing my loved one's hat. That said, coming from a Texas perspective, I think the store could benefit from some deeper training regarding traditional hat shaping and etiquette to match the team's wonderful enthusiasm. This location easily had the best inventory out of all the Boot Barns I've been to in a long time. The only downside was trying to find a specific pair of jeans I saw on a mannequin in the back. After searching the shelves and racks, I couldn't find them on my own. I know if I had asked anyone, they would have gladly jumped in to help, but I do wish there had been a bit more proactive assistance available on the sales floor. The workmanship is quite impressive. All of the bags are made by women recovering from various addictions. This is a nonprofit social enterprise. Their website: unshattered.org Where you can see some of the merchandise. When you buy something from them, the money goes back into the organization to help these women. You'll be doing a good deed.

But the jewelry is the show-stopper. Almost 95% of my jewelry collection at home is from this shop, and the owner has such a diverse sense of design, there are no two pieces that look alike. This is a great source for Plus size clothing. The person working the register was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The shop had windows throughout, so natural light enhanced the shopping experience. The prices were reasonable and affordable. I am glad to have stumbled upon this place.
