I always stop in and look for any collectibles-they have tons of clothes, that seem to be good…read morequality and condition and price- That's not what I'm after Lol! I've bought some treasures,to me anyway-the prices are erratic though,I think too many doing pricing and also pricing collectibles as per e-bays web site- They have tons of books and some toys and bedding etc.. They donate $ to local sports and graymoor- The ladies who volunteer are pleasant and work hard for the store-they're open Monday-Friday 10:00-3:00 And have sales on various items-every day and 50% off Occasionally-

Unfortunately, my experience was due to an error on their part and because they have a no refund…read morepolicy, they would not correct it. I found a box of Mexican train dominoes. I asked to open and count them right in front of her. She promised over and over again that they were all there. She said she remembered counting them herself. (My fault to not go with my instinct). When I get in the car, I opened it to see and it turns out, they aren't "91jumbo size color dominos", but old regular sized white and black dominos! Even if you didn't know the game, the tin box said very clear what was in it and even has a picture of what they are supposed to look like. I took them immediately back in before leaving the parking lot. I explained that this wasn't even what I purchased and didn't open it up because of her personal assurance. Nothing but a "sorry, but no returns". Even though I expressed that it wasn't a return because I didn't like it Or it was damaged. I'm returning it because she lied about counting it and never opened it to clearly see it wasn't the right set or she didn't know what she was looking at and just thought dominos. My advice, don't trust "oh I personally counted myself". Open it, inspect it, count it. Because they won't make good on a sale that they even guarantee. I know it's a thrift store and you take chances, but it's just bad business to say you did something and in actuality didn't do it properly or at all. I didn't need an apology on their mistake. I needed a correction on a bad sale.

So I just had a very interesting experience at Echo. I'm here visiting from the city for my mini…read morevacation and kept hearing rave reviews about this place. The family I'm staying with also suggested I check it out. It's my last day here and I wanted to check it out before I left because I heard they have really cool old school toys (which I collect), cool clothes, and bras in my size! I waited until they were open but no one was there so I decided to walk around and come back a little later. Upon entering I was not greeted. Not a big deal though because I can be pretty shy and wanted to browse around. I soon felt uncomfortable; like I wasn't welcome but I brushed it off. It's a feeling POC unfortunately often feel when they're shopping in unfamiliar areas or shops. I wanted to give the woman at the register the benefit of the doubt. I found a cool harmonica that I wanted to gift my boyfriend but was being indecisive about what else to get I remembered the bras! I went to check them out and then I stumbled upon the sale section and that's when the woman at the register basically ran up on me. She said to let her know if I needed help with anything. It was completely bizarre because it was clear she came over just to see what I was doing. There were a few other people in there and she passed by them and didn't ask them if they needed anything. It was so clear in my mind that she thought I was trying to steal that dumb ass harmonica or anything from that janky store. The bras were overpriced, the clothes were honestly hideous and not for anyone under the age of 40. The toys and books were ok but nothing really jumped out at me. Except this woman. It was a very uncomfortable experience and when I went to pay for the items (yes I got the damn harmonicas) she gave me full on attitude. No smile, very condescending "you're welcome" after I thanked her. Just all around bad attitude as if she was the one being followed. I would beware if you are a POC. I didn't get the woman's name but she was probably a SWF, pudgy and had dark hair.

I saw a sign out front for bra fittings today. I am so happy I stopped by. Christina, I believe was…read moreher name, was extremely helpful. I was wearing completely the wrong size and it was amazing what the difference was once I got an appropriate bra on! I will also say that previously I have bought several dresses that are high quality here. The kids side of the store has a great selection of toys, books and a super cute jewelry.
