It remained in great condition in spite of being crammed in lockers, dropped in puddles and tossed in the back seat and crammed with all those things that a family hands Mom to carry. I finally retired it. It was replaced by a second purse from D'Onofrio in the same design. My first purse was in such great condition, that it was gratefully accepted by an organization that provides business wardrobes for women who have escaped abusive relationships and are starting out anew. Because the rubber and the leather were both still intact, he was able to reattach them. A relatively simple job, but one that required the skills and materials of a Master Shoe and Boot Cobbler. I love L.L.Bean, but they only offer the *possibility* of repairing Bean boots and it would take anywhere from 3-8 weeks to get them back. George looked my boots over and assessed the repair in under ten minutes (while I stood at his counter in stocking feet!) I appreciate and respect his policy that "custom work requires custom pricing." In other words, don't hesitate to ask for an estimate so that you're not surprised! George won't be unkind or embarrass you if you decide you need to consider the cost of a repair. I dropped one star only because I called twice to ask if my boots were done.

We didn't want to pay to replace it yet, but didn't have any warrantee and wayfair where we bought it was no help. La-z-boy also didn't want to help us because we bought through wayfair. Jorge used to work for Raymour & Flanagan for 14 years and seemed to know exactly what he was doing from the start. I called and he said to send pictures, that he could come take a look for no evaluation fee. He charged me $320 to replace both manual recliners where the wires snapped on both sides. It was a 45 min job so it might not have been the best price but he did a good job and was very respectful and friendly.
