My friend and I walked in and the girl behind the counter was on her phone the whole time looking down and did not look up once. Ok, that's fine we don't always need a greeting when walking into a shop. However, there are lots of delicate items and I would think you would want to check in to see if the customer has any questions or want to see any of the items that are placed inside the display cases that have to be opened. There was silence until my friend asked if one of the items were vermeil gold or gold plated. She had no idea and was a bit taken aback by the question but then got up and went behind to look at some sort of book. So we figured she must be looking it up. We walk around some more and about a good 20 mins later we come back and ask her did you find out and her response was, "what?" This time I asked the same question and she responds that she doesn't know and she was just looking up prices. We never asked about prices.
