There's a stylist onsite Friday and Saturday in case you need help crafting the perfect outfit for something specific, but any day you are going to find high quality clothing that fits a variety of body shapes and sizes. Because the designers are not massive scale productions I can occasionally find myself fitting into an XS and sometimes a L. I'm 5'7" and normally wear a M. Basically it is in part about your personal style and the fit you are seeking. I love that the color scheme is mainly in the black, grey, cream, white category with a little color splashed throughout. No Sugar is about not being about all the pop cultures splashes and instead brings classy (often European) designers that you can't find in many stores to the Village of Rhinebeck. I've seen teens and mature women shopping in the same place with no one coming out looking too young or too old. From linen staples, to cozy cashmere winter wear, to silk loveliness I prefer this boutique.

Good eye for style. As a guy I like the feminine looking clothes for both adults and girls.read more

In response to the comment below about Winter/Sun Summer Moon's employee service...I was actually…read morein the store when the commenter below bought her Tano bag. I am sure it was her as, since I shop at Winter Sun often, I know Tano bags are infrequently purchased at the store since they are so rare for this area and expensive. I remember this "artist" was very nice, she had an adorable dog with her that the employees were happy to see. They did not bat an eye that she had a dog in the store, only fawned over him and politely answered all of her questions about the Tano and where it was located in the store. When she told them why she was buying this bag, they congratulated her for her recent accomplishment and were very friendly, as always. If there was any rudeness directed towards her when she asked for tissue paper, I am positive that it was all in her head. I have been going to Winter Sun for years and know that the employee she dealt with is new and a very nice, courteous woman. I was not paying specific attention to them while she checked out, but I have NEVER in all my time in Rhinebeck heard a bad word about this store, its employees and owners. Lila and Steven Pague are some of the nicest, most involved people you will find in Rhinebeck. They contribute to our local community and are lovely people. If someone asked me where they could buy a gift for someone in town, I would point them right in the direction of their shop, Winter Sun/Summer Moon. Their merchandise is unique, colorful and often a sweet trinket from another country - the very last adjective I would use to describe their service is "snobby." I am shocked that anyone would think of giving this store ONE star and especially shocked that I witnessed this commenter's perfectly fine encounter there. Please do not let this one (falsely) rude encounter sway you from checking out this gem in Rhinebeck.

The space isn't huge- but the options are almost endless and exciting here. If you're the type who loves vintage at thrift prices, you'll bring those vintage finds back to life. I recently found two white quartz(?) bookends at $6ea that may seem small- but they're heavy AF. Prior to that, I've found small catch-all trays or other items. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any of your questions about anything. So whether you want a nostalgic vintage cardigan, a vase, tea set, this or maybe that, Castaways is one of the best thrift+ vintage shops in Woodstock that won't disappoint you.

I couldn't get over all the beautiful sweatshirts, tee shirts, skirts, and various other tops and sweaters. Everything looked so well made and unique. I thought the prices were very reasonable and I loved the fact that one of the vendors he uses provides his employees with organic lunch and childcare. That alone made me want to shop there, but seriously his merchandise is so beautiful, I plan to go back! I will take some pictures and post them too. So, I asked my mom where can I get him Red Wings or Thorogood's around here and she said we need to go to Montano's in Saugerties, so off we went. Montano's has been around since 1906, wow that is long time! They provide professional fitting services, Pedorthic care, and specialized inventory targeted to foot health support. Montano's has a variety of high-quality work-boot brands including Red Wing, Chippewa, Thorogood, Danner, Irish Setter, and Timberland. They have a variety of athletic and hiking footwear brands such as Merrell, Keen, Hoka, On Running, and Salomon. There is a selection catered to casual and comfort as well; brands include Dansko, Birkenstock, Blundstone, UGG, and Vionic. Fair warning, it's not cheap to shop here. You are buying pretty much the best-of-the-best with a professional service. Some of these work boots are easily $200+ and the specialty insoles are running $65+ so keep that in mind when shopping. I was able to kill two birds with one stone by buying my stepdad his birthday present and my mom a new pair of shoes for Mother's Day. It wasn't cheap but they are worth it, plus I don't get to see them as much as I would like. The Red Wings he chose were $200, the specialty insoles cost $65 and Mom's shoes were $120. All the items are of high quality and should last them until my next visit, lol. Staff were very friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked in we were treated with respect and one of the associates accommodated both my family members with all of their fitting needs. I just purchased a new pair of Keens recently for work but I was really interested in trying out a pair of Thorogood's. The problem is if I tried them on, I probably would have bought them. I just don't need another pair now but the selection here seems like an excellent choice for a future work boot. I might be back next year once I ware my Keens out. All-in-all, Montano's Shoe Store is an excellent spot to find great service and high-quality footwear for any occasion. I highly recommend visiting them if you in Saugerties shopping.
