When I came in, although I found a product (with a barcode) that I took a picture of by the brand and with the features I was looking for (iHome with Qi-wireless charging), when I went to find the price on or near the package, none existed. Pass onto a few days later - a couple days after Christmas - I went back in -hoping the product would still be there. Only that one box was on the shelf, but the outer box was damaged. I had done the research on the product through websites such as Amazon and Walmart in the meantime, but knew I had to take a chance with finding it offline. The product was in one piece and the box was repairable (but damaged). After bringing it up acknowledging the "worst case price", when they told me it was on sale for $20 off, I was shell-shocked and paid lickety-split. But then they decided that this earned me a $10 Kohl's Cash certificate. (Was that to make up for the damaged box issue and the aggravation that would be caused by it?) They told me it was good starting in January (and I never did go back to retrieve something with it), and because I'm boycotting the paper bags, I asked for my receipt and out the door, I went - product in hand - happy I got what I was looking for - on a whim.

Thank God for Kohl's. I feel like it's the only place you can go in Kingston. I also enjoy shopping…read moreonline and doing my returns there. The store is always kept very clean and organized. Staff are friendly. One time I was there and they even helped me pick out clothing for a special occasion. Where do you have that kind of service around here? Kohl's has great prices and sales. I vaguely remember going to shops like this in Queens when I was a tater tot. I can't imagine many of them still exist. I wouldn't say that I'd be thrilled to have it as my only option if I lived in Rhinebeck, but as a living piece of old timey nostalgia it's really rather cool.

My closet isn't filled to the brim with L.L.Bean- but I do like their casual look of their clothes. The few pieces I've purchased throughout the years are neutral enough I can easily add on to my own personal style. Plus L.L. doesn't mess around with their fabric. The clothes are crisp- especially the women's button downs and women's blazers that have clean lines and are perfectly tailored - but carefree where I can funktify the look. This L.L. is super spacious with women's, men's, doggy attire, a small bedding section and of course, items for the avid fisher person. Help is everywhere here and you will not go unnoticed.
