Snarky, rude and poor customer care…read more There is a sales woman with brown long hair and light eyes who was unapologetically rude and ruined her own sale. My husband was carefully replacing a few socks that my daughter (3yo) had disturbed from their place on display. The saleswoman started to wave her hand frustratedly in my daughter's direction, while repeating "could she NOT! Could she NOT!" Lady, she's 3! And it was being refolded and replaced. I hope the owner knows that I walked OUT. I was planning on spending several hundreds of dollars but, because of that poor attitude, why would I support a brand that hires staff like that?!? When my husband told the woman that this was unacceptable and he was replacing the items to their original place and folding them, she proceeded to tell him to "get a grip sir!" Staff training on customer care is lacking and should immediately be addressed!

I loved the elephant puzzle that consisted of many small elephants. Man, just thinking about it makes me wish I had bought the elephant though I think it's a kid's toy. If animal puzzles aren't your thing, I also spied skulls, I[heart]U signs, treble/bass clefs, trouts, boxes, and racecars. So apparently if you don't see what you want, the artist can probably make something just for you. Awesome. Mélange also carries other items such as clothes and jewelry and home decor. My toddler went wild for the vintage Hot Wheels and other cars (back when they were solidly constructed of weighty, real metal) so of course we had to buy a few. We were there just as the winter holidays were gearing up, and the owner was so nice and didn't charge us for the Christmas ornament. We started a tradition of each family member having a special ornament every year and this was the kiddo's.
