Just before Christmas, I went into this store looking for a specific brand's product that I checked in Walmart for but couldn't find. When I came in, although I found a product (with a barcode) that I took a picture of by the brand and with the features I was looking for (iHome with Qi-wireless charging), when I went to find the price on or near the package, none existed. Pass onto a few days later - a couple days after Christmas - I went back in -hoping the product would still be there. Only that one box was on the shelf, but the outer box was damaged. I had done the research on the product through websites such as Amazon and Walmart in the meantime, but knew I had to take a chance with finding it offline. The product was in one piece and the box was repairable (but damaged). After bringing it up acknowledging the "worst case price", when they told me it was on sale for $20 off, I was shell-shocked and paid lickety-split. But then they decided that this earned me a $10 Kohl's Cash certificate. (Was that to make up for the damaged box issue and the aggravation that would be caused by it?) They told me it was good starting in January (and I never did go back to retrieve something with it), and because I'm boycotting the paper bags, I asked for my receipt and out the door, I went - product in hand - happy I got what I was looking for - on a whim. read more

Thank God for Kohl's. I feel like it's the only place you can go in Kingston. I also enjoy shopping online and doing my returns there. The store is always kept very clean and organized. Staff are friendly. One time I was there and they even helped me pick out clothing for a special occasion. Where do you have that kind of service around here? Kohl's has great prices and sales. My only complaint is they keep giving me that Kohl's cash and I have to keep going back to the store spending more money read more

At Store # 0988 in Kingston, Both Shawn and Michael were very helpful. We found everything we needed and enjoyed the savings at checkout. I would definitely like to come back. read more

They opened a new Sephora recently, and the staff is not trained . The manager John was no help at all . The staff seems clueless , and the costumer service is horrible. One of the worst khols I have ever been in and so sadly the Sephora has turned out to be awful. I do not recommend going there until they get trained properly, and asking the manager for help was a waste of time and energy. read more

There shouldn't be much difference between various Kohl's stores, and that applies here. Though for some - good - reason, I have much better luck finding shoes at this Kohl's than any of their other stores. Maybe they have a larger selection, or maybe there are fewer people in Kingston with the same size feet as me - no problem, whatever the reason. The store has a huge parking lot, is well maintained, has a good inventory, and clean rest rooms. It's what I expect at a Kohl's. read more

We went to this Kohl's location while waiting for car to be serviced. Found a jumper that was CLEARLY tagged $7.20 (yellow and red) on the clearance rack. Get to register to be "greeted" by a young girl with a BIG attitude for absolutely no reason. Jumper rings up $21. Ms. Attitude calls her boss Craig over. He proceeds to tell us that HIS staff didn't put that tag on there, as if we did! We work hard and are honest people. $14 isn't something I am desperate for. I called the Manager when I left. It was Craig. He continued raising his voice over me and wouldn't let me get a word in. WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life! Hands down. You lost a customer. read more

It's Kohl's...it's a place to go when you want to avoid the madness in Kingston that are Target and WalMart. It's a laid back store that had almost anything you may need. I've been there time and time again with great results...on the other hand, i was there yesterday and quite annoyed. I went there to buy shoelaces for my black leather shoes. They DO NOT sell shoelaces of any kind. Can someone explain this to me? Anyone? They have a MASSIVE shoe department and they don't sell any laces? When did Kohl's become the Twilight Zone? read more

Just remembered why I never shop at kohl's. I've been looking for an associate to assist me in the kitchen department for 15 mins. Eventually I picked up an in house phone and asked the operator to send someone over, another 10 minutes and nobody. I really hate the carts they have here. They're basically strollers, with netting and nowhere to sit your bag but on a hook. The employees acted like you weren't even there. We had a coupon that we could use twice, but we had to go to a different register to use it right after the other which makes no sense to me. I use to work in retail and know that all online coupons have the same UPC number and it doesn't matter what register it's used on. They call me the Sheik and also sometimes occasionally Chichi. I'm going to make this short. My visit to This store today was the most stressful experience of my entire life and it should speak volumes that this is the first negative of many passionate reviews. I'll start with the carts- I was purchasing two small items and thus had no use for a cart but still they are clunky and the casters are certainly squeaky and not rated for the potential load of clothes. Anyway. I was. This is not of concern. I had difficulty selecting my clothes and appropriate size, so a helpful employee told me to google the conversion of sizes between American and Cambodian-made pants. Naturally I was shocked when I discovered the employee was not an employee but merely another customer. Very disappointing. Anyway the selection is amazing and the discounts are incredible, but the berries barred the boatshow on this beautiful body base. I went in with a few friends and fickle fairy frowns for fun and left with piles of powerful proper pantelated puppy cuppers. It really left me feeling like a slow-mo snow cone bonobo so-ho show float. Get me Brotendo? Also as well the chip card readers are quite European. Security is key! Not so fresh. If I ever go back here I will have a total mental breakdown. Gross. read more
