My closet isn't filled to the brim with L.L.Bean- but I do like their casual look of their clothes. The few pieces I've purchased throughout the years are neutral enough I can easily add on to my own personal style. Plus L.L. doesn't mess around with their fabric. The clothes are crisp- especially the women's button downs and women's blazers that have clean lines and are perfectly tailored - but carefree where I can funktify the look. This L.L. is super spacious with women's, men's, doggy attire, a small bedding section and of course, items for the avid fisher person. Help is everywhere here and you will not go unnoticed. The smiles and the willingness to help if you have a question or look for an item, is genuine. L.L.'s sheets and clothing I own are worth every dollar.

You can certainly go to a big box store, and maybe you would pay less for the actual suit, but these gentlemen include the tailoring in the price and pay attention to every single detail to make him look and feel his absolute best. The owner has impecable taste and won't try to up-sell you something that isn't flattering. She will take time to find you the perfect garment for your figure, and if she doesn't have it she will make it for you! She is able to accommodate any size. In addition to the custom pieces there is also ready to wear clothing available and occasionally vintage pieces (more selection at the Rhinebeck location). Most of the styles are timeless, can be dressed up or down, and worn in multiple seasons.
