Went in for ped and manny ... only soaked feet less than five minutes and asked why the rush ... was told they do not soak but wash off and start ... then salon person was so busy talking to others she ripped the side of my foot enough that I could not put Sandals back on since blood and open sore ...same process for hands .. no soaking fingers so curtails are rough ... in and out in less than 45 minutes for both services - not done at same times but separately! Never again. Sloppy, rushed, etc. foot hurts. read more

I've been going here for a while now T does a really great job with my nails she's extremely polite and make sure that my nails are perfect before I leave. today I had waxing done and one of the ladies there did it I do not know her name but she was very forceful from the beginning and I told her the wax was hot I continue to tell her but she didn't seem to care until she burned my face then she blew in my mouth area and I pushed her away because I don't want somebody breathing in my mouth she finally stopped and then only wiped my face with what I thought was just baby powder or talcum powder she did not put any soothing gel or cream on my face I suggest you do not get your face waxed at this place at all read more

Elite Nails - Ombre - Nail Salons Near Me - Vista, California

Won't be coming back. I've had my nails done here 3 times now. I wanted to love this place because of its proximity to my home. Every time Ive had my acrylic nails done here a few end up breaking within a few days. It also takes FOR-EV-ER. 2 hours for a full set and a pedicure... My last disappointment with elite nails was today... I had an appointment and came in to wait for 30 minutes. I ended up walking out. What a joke. I understand that things are a bit tricky with covid but they're understaffed, slow and nails always break. Bye bye elite. I'll make the drive to a decent place next time. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

I found this nail salon from yelp. I called beforehand and wanted to be very specific with the look I was going for. I arrive and she seemed very confident.... long story short ... while trying to create a coffin nail & filing/ drilling my nails .. Lily cut open my skin twice .... I made sure she was aware and she said it's just a paper cut. Then continued to fill my nail The next morning two of my finger tips are throbbing and are filled with acrylic solution ! (The acrylic powder she used was red) I'm so so so frustrated. I am a hairstylist and my hands are my tools. I'm also frustrated that I gave her a good tip considering she did not care about the well being of my hands ! I pray I don't get a bad infection !! If I were you I'd pass on this salon. read more

BEWARE! Under new, horrible, rude & nasty ownership! First, I was told that what I wanted didn't exist...even though I've had it done many times and its on the price list. When I said Lily and Daisy had done it for years, I was told "they're not in today, powder better." Since I was there, I decided to just get a normal manicure. While making small talk, I find out that Daisy is not there...because it's under new ownership, but they're "much better than Daisy." It became obvious that they were only going to do what they wanted to do. She brought out a clear nail polish with a pink tint, and asked if I was sure I wanted that. It was NOT the opaque pale pink I asked for and have always used. When another woman came in, they also convinced her to do what they wanted (powder), told her "we do better than Daisy" several times...then had the nerve to say that Daisy ripped off her clients by charging more than the actual price of the service. Total BS! They always charged exactly what the price list said. She bought out another pink for me and started doing my nails. When I looked at them, the color was bright bubble gum pink - the opposite of the baby pink I wanted. By that point, all I wanted was to get out of there, so I let her finish. As I was paying, a phone call came in, and again I heard the BS that "Daisy isn't in today", and when the woman asked when she'd be back, was finally told she's no longer there, and again put down the old ownership saying they were so much better. NO, you are NOT better and I will not come back.. read more

I've been going to the Elite Nail salon for many years because the staff is excellent at what they do. The spa is very clean. The ambiance is calm and there is appropriate music playing as well as a TV showing beautiful pictures for the customers. As many all over San Diego the staff are from other countries. In this salon they speak with each other in their native language but also speak English. It doesn't bother me as my English language is foreign to them and they are the ones making an effort. Please don't let one person's opinion sway you from trying this salon. It's sad when someone is so unhappy with themselves that they feel the need to ruin others lives. read more

DO NOT go here! I had sworn that I would never go back after I waited over an hour when I had an appointment. I decided to give them a second chance and booked an appointment for 9:30 this morning. I waited 10 minutes and no one showed up. salon was closed. They are very unprofessional and apparently their time is worth more than their customers. read more

Tammy and Tracey did a perfect job on my nails, both pedicure and acrylic fill. They were very busy but made sure I did not feel rushed.

I think it was a really nice place, this will definitely be my usual nail place. The owner was so sweet. I recommend !!

Not really happy with the way they took off my manicure. No soaking, no cream, just drilled the gel off my nails. I am not 100% sure if we can only use the drill for natural gel nails. No after care provided - my nails look dehydrated and now there are dents all over :( read more

I absolutely love this place! This is my go-to nail salon. I asked for a unique design on my toes (a Christmas polka dot nail I found on Pinterest) and a candy cane design on my ring fingers for my nails. They were very nice, professional, and very accommodating. LiLi (Lily?) did my fill and went out of her way to show me all sorts of colors till I found exactly what I wanted. She shaped my nails perfectly. I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my toes but she was amazing as well. I would highly recommend. The shop is always extremely clean and the staff is kind and professional. read more

Horrible! I walked in and asked for gel nails and got French tips on my short nails. I even asked the woman who did my nails if I should do acrylics or gels thinking they were both ways to add to my nails since they are so short. I am in a wedding 2 days from now and I have to go find somewhere else to get a gel set since they don't seem to know what that is here. Picture is of actual gel set and other one is what I got. I literally just left this salon and decided to write this as I wait for my hubby to pick me up. Yet another nail salon that is just so-so :( I came in 15 minutes after they opened so I didn't have to wait (yay!). Too bad it seemed like my technician worked all day because her attitude wasn't the greatest. She didn't ask how I was doing and just handed me the price list. I specifically asked her to focus on my callus removal but she completely ignored that. Ugh. My manicure is HORRIBLE. My cuticles are still visible, there's fingerprints in my polish, some of my nails are oddly shaped and jagged. I will say that the place is clean and roomy. I can't find a 4 star salon here to save my life!!! read more

Elite nails is wonderful. I was forced to look for a new nail salon as my previous one was sold to new management leaving me (unfortunately) displeased with their new team. Lee Lee did my nails, she was great. I showed her a cupcake design I wanted and she was equally as excited as I was. Sometimes when j show the nail technicians a design, I'm afraid they will hate me for creating extra work, but lee lee was FABULOUS! she listened to what I wanted and delivered.. Also she has an amazing loose glitter selection, something I've never seen used for gel manicures. Very impressed. I also got a head, shoulder and neck massage from one of the women (should have grabbed her name), but holy smokes it was Great, so relaxing and for only ten bucks?!?! Insane. Great nail salon, great service, great people! read more

Worst experience I have ever had. It started with an appointment, I showed up a few minutes ahead. I was getting my nails done for my wedding renewal ceremony. It was the most rushed and brutal session I've ever had. My skin was covered In Gel, it was lumpy, misshapen, I was yelled at by the nail tech for supposedly using soap to wash my hands, which I did not, etc... the woman was mean and Terrible. Anyways it was such a terrible job I waited 2 more hours there to have it redone. I asked for someone else. I have never in my life had to do that but they were gonna either just remove it or fix it, their choice. I spent 4 hours there, my nails were still terrible, but I was leaving the next day for my ceremony. I still paid 50+ for gel nails with French tip, and my cuticles are destroyed now :( read more

They take their time but it was super relaxing & all the girls are super sweet. Even with the relaxed pace, I was done in a prompt manner. I had asked if I could be done by 1pm as I needed to leave for work on time. They said no problem & did my mani pedi @ the same time to get me done on time. I even had time to add a 15 minute foot rub. Massage could have been harder, but was very relaxing. Most important is how friendly they all are!! I had Daisy for the pedicure, Ellen (I think) for my mani & Mimi seems like the owner? All very friendly!! read more

UPDATE: had an appointment at 1PM- full house and nail technician says- "sorry, when I make appointments on the phone, I don't hear well." really? After coming here for years, today was my last visit. This salon has been on a steady decline for the last several months and considering you can find a nail salon as readily as you can a Starbucks, I'll be giving my business to people who deserve and appreciate it. Gel Manicure and pedicure took a total of about 25 minutes- those familiar will understand why this is a problem. Not a single conversation was started except for the employees who were doing the have assed work. Polish was left on nails and toes, massage was given with cuticle oil, and there was no scrubbing done. read more
