I spoke with the technician prior to the MRI and made sure she was aware that I needed to have it for my lower forearm all the way up to my upper bicep. Because that's where the injury was. She said she would do her best. When I went in to have my MRI read by the orthopedic surgeon, he said the MRI wasn't good and even the report given by Prime states that it does not capture the rupture area "unfortunately, the scan does not cover the distal most insertion". Which is where the rupture occurred. I've been calling and leaving messages at both doctors offices and prime for 2 days trying to get them to re-do the MRi they messed up at no cost to me. i paid cash. Both doctors offices said that they had reached out to prime and not heard back. I spoke with the Prime scheduling department supervisor and the billing supervisor. They kept referring me back to the other departments. I have a short window to complete this surgery but Prime is not providing a good service. I may have to go elsewhere and pay out of pocket again. So frustraing!

I had the strangest experience there and probably the most surreal and uncomfortable situation at…read morean imaging place I've ever encountered in my life yesterday. I had to reschedule my first x-ray appointment in Wylie because their equipment had broke down and they were able to reschedule me in Allen the same morning. When I checked in, the lady I worked with was in the far left corner and she was very polite. I had mentioned to her. I did not fill out the online check-in information and preferred to fill out paperwork and she said no problem. When I returned the paperwork to her, I mentioned to her that my birthdate was wrong. I then noticed the lady on my right. (Her name was Coy) spoke under her breath out loud and said ,"If you had filled out the online application, you would've noticed that." It was very flippant remark and with a snippy tone. She was working with another patient and I was taken back by what she had just done and I decided to speak up and advocate for myself, and I said, " Did she just talk under her breath about me ?" to the lady in front of me. And then Coy spoke up again said," oh I didn't mean to hurt your feelings," in which I then replied," you have not hurt my feelings, but you're behaving in a very unprofessional manner, and I can't believe you would be checking out this patient beside me and also be talking under your breath about me which has nothing to do with you." She tried to defend herself and I just walked away and sat down and waited for my x-ray. Once I'm called back, Tricia takes me back to the x-ray room and as she's getting things ready there's a knock on the door and Tricia opens the door and isn't surprised to see Coy at the door and let's her in. !!!!!!!!! Mind you I feel like I'm in a movie right now. It's the craziest thing! I look at Tricia. She doesn't look surprised and is avoiding eye contact with me so I'm thinking to myself, "Had Coy asked permission from Tricia to allow her to corner me in the x-ray room to talk to me again about the situation up front? It was crazy. Coy starts apologizing to me and states that I've misunderstood and she had no bad intention. I'm still freaking out that this is even happening and I look at Coy and I tell her that I didn't appreciate her talking about me under her breath when she wasn't even the person checking me in or taking my payment and she kept talking over me and she wouldn't let me finish my sentence. Tricia, the x-ray tech was just watching not doing anything about it not telling Coy to go away not protecting me as a patient and I finally had to raise my voice and tell Coy to get out of the room so I could get my x-rays completed. It was absolutely bizarre and frightening at the same time and I couldn't believe Coy had gone from the front desk to the x-ray room to talk to me about this when I'm trying to get an x-ray. I was so shaken up. It was very hard for me to go through the next 15 minutes of x-rays. I was so upset. I was on the verge of tears. It was horrible. I spoke to the manager Lauren afterwards and she was very kind to listen to my experience and she assured me that they would be escalating this to upper management and it would be taken care of. I have not heard from their office yet, but I hope this never happens to anyone else. It was truly traumatic and it made no sense.

It was a great experience from walking in the door; it's a welcoming office, clean, and the team is courteous, from booking the appointment to the actual visit! The "People in the back," Jason and Millie, who actually did the MRI, were very kind and communicative (every step of the way); they followed safety protocols (gloves, needle, etc.). I am grateful to have found this place. If you're looking for a place that treats you with heart... like a human being, this is your place! A big fat THANK YOU to Envision Imaging (Allen, TX),

I realized I lived closer to richardson location than Dallas, so I called the dallas location where 2 separate doctors had sent orders for 2 separate mri. The dallas people said no problem we confirm both orders have come in and we'll just make it to where you can schedule them at richardson. 2. I call the richardson location they CONFIRM both orders but say there is a problem and they need my doc to send a new fax, so I call my doctor and she sends the order again. I call back and CONFIRM that both MRI are going to be done the same appointment. 3. An hour before my appointment they tell me they're running late and delay my appointment by 30 minutes. 4. When I get there they make me wait 40 minutes AND THEN tell me they only have one order. I tell them that their receptionist had confirmed both orders and the same appointment for both. They do a fake apology of the sorry not sorry sounds like your problem not ours. So I only do the one MRI. The tech was rude and combative and the manager was a spineless mgmt type. 5. To schedule the other one they tell me no location has ever had a second order and that I made a mistake or the doc made a mistake. I call the doctor and they explain with a confirmation number from gateway that the fax had been sent received and confirmed. The receptionist says it was sent to the wrong number which the doctor said to them was given to her by gateway themselves. 6. After I leave they find the order, call me to schedule. They tell me they cant even do that kind of mri in the first place which im pretty sure is a lie because they dont want to see me and acknowledge their mistake given that when I originally scheduled they named both orders and confirmed all the details at that location. 7. They tell me that a survey will follow after they schedule and to stay on the line to give my thoughts and then they immediately just hang up. All around incompetent, lazy, late, and incapable of accountability. As someone with chronic pain and too many doctors this place is more a barrier to health than a credible business. Wasted my time which i dont have enough of and my peace of mind which im trying to get back. Wholly unsatisfactory and the staff should be embarrassed. I will be letting all of my doctors know. Ive never had problems with touchstone and will refuse to go to gateway again. Ridiculous.

This is my 2nd go-round (technically 3rd) at the Women's Imagining Center…read more I had a 3D mammogram done here a year & 1/2 ago. I needed to return for a second exam that visit. The phone call requesting a return visit provided a few days of angst, but all ended up well. Here I am again this year. The reception, check in & practitioners have been fabulous on all visits. My practitioner even remembered me from 18 months ago.....Wow! There is PLENTY of room for family members or providers to accompany you on your visit. There is coffee and magazines. I had to fill out one set of paper-docs for my DEXA. They have switched to pretty cool electronic check in docs for a mammogram. They hand you an iPad, you check some boxes & viola. Once it's time for your exam, clients are taken to a changing area with keyed-lockers to store your items (Thank You from single gals everywhere!) They have these 1/2-length, cape-style garments for mammograms which make it a little more convenient to hit those poses for the squish. There are also some longer more traditional hospital-like garments with sleeves for other exams or mobility/modesty issues.....don't be shy....get your mammogram cape on! You're a self-care super hero for being there. Once changed, clients remain in a separate waiting area until their exam. When you are done, collect your things from the locker, change & you're done. Don't forget to leave the key!! The mammogram sincerely not that bad at all. I'm not sure why there are so many stories of super-squishy pain. That hasn't been my experience(s). ** Do not wear garments with metal from the waist-down for DEXA....get your yoga pant day on ladies! On the day of the mammogram, do not apply lotions, creams or deodorant. I remember seeing personal wipes last year. I didn't see those this year. If you have to work or run around before your appointment, I think applying deodorant & bringing wipes would work out well. I saw a few ladies that use canes. I did not see anyone that used a wheelchair. Regardless, I have no doubt that they facilitate exams for anyone with mobility issues. No excuses! Get your exams done. If not for you, do it for your family and all the ladies (& men!) diagnosed in the time since your last exam! Best of health to all.......

I told her that if she does not have camera with sound on it then she cannot verify if what I am saying is wrong. She was not there and did not go through what I went through. I have never felt so uncomfortable before in my life and I did not deserve to be mocked and made fun of. All I did was come in for mammogram and was humiliated and used for amusement. Instead of staff working they were preoccupied with socializing and fraternizing. This is unacceptable and management should worry about retraining their staff and maybe employing more professional ones. Instead they don't feel their staff is wrong in anyway and think the customer is the problem! I was not happy with the conversation that Nora had with me and as a manager she is not going to do anything to rectify the situation. Details: Envision Imaging is conveniently located on Plano Pkwy near Marsh Lane. Gorgeous and sparkling clean medical office building. I had an MRI and CT Scan this week at Envision Imaging. Nurse was professional, a good communicator, friendly, and cheerful. It is wonderful to have a nurse who smiles and can relax a patient. Nurse explained everything in an easy way for me to understand. I appreciate her expertise and her willingness to have short conversations with me. She gently inserted the catheter that was used for contrast dye. She also gently removed the catheter after the procedures were complete. MRI and CT technicians were also professional and good communicators. They also explained everything ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Two days later I returned to Envision Imaging to pick up my CD-ROM of previous imaging. I also picked up a CD-ROM of the MRI and CT that Envision Imaging performed. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. They quickly provided the 2 CD-ROM that I ask for. Thank you to the entire staff at Envision Imaging on Plano Pwky.
