As a result, it got beat up with the constant weather events and will need to be resurfaced. But second: we contracted with him to do a gutter replacement well in advance of the forth coming rain. It took almost 4 months before he showed. He offered a discount off of the price; then when he finally did show, he only removed some of the existing gutter and left without installing any new. He even left his ladder behind for some reason. Multiple emails for followup status have gone unanswered. It's the lack of communication and unfinished task (which can cause roof damage) that forces star drop. Previously he had indicated that they moved "far up north" - so it's possible he needed to change his service area but hasn't. That's on the business though; if you accept a job and money for the job, you complete the job as agreed. Which might mean something as simple as booking a hotel nearby for a week until the job is done or something.

Two hours later the owner Steve arrived to look over the damage he went on the roof to see firsthand the damage, he took the damage Chimney Cap with him and said he would try to get a new cap made as soon as possible and have it installed as soon as the cap was made he would try for a fast turnaround time. now this chimney is not the normal size cap it's around 40 x 48 located 40 ft off the ground. the company kept me informed on a timely basis on the progress of my repair. In about a day and a half I was notified that the owner Steve and the crew were coming over early afternoon to repair my chimney when they arrived they went right to work. While installing a new cap they discovered damage exhaust pipes inside the chimney they replace the damage pipes with new ones. The owner crawled inside the chimney and made sure the pipes were repaired and secured. They did install the Chimney Cap and Security in place they put the caps on the two exhaust pipes and then they caulked the screws and seems and they were finished the owner and the crew were professional courteous and thorough the owner Steve has a high level of Integrity. With the other contractor I was going to have to call a roofer out once the new chimney was built and they had no idea why the damage had occurred. My property lined was 1 foot from the chimney and the neighbors have a fence on the property line. Plus there were power lines above. They carefully removed everything and never stepped a foot or messed the neighbors property. The old studs around the chimney had rotted out and also had to be replace, I was given a fair price for the additional work. Owens did a fantastic job. The workers were polite and respectful.
