We recently hired Gutter Tuneup because our gutters were an absolute disaster. Not only were they…read moreseverely clogged from years of neglect and pine needles, but we also had a persistent leak and overflow issue near our front entryway that seemed impossible to fix. From the moment I contacted them, the experience was 5-star. They were responsive, easy to schedule, and confirmed the appointment the day before. The technician arrived right on time and was incredibly courteous and professional. What sets Gutter Tuneup apart is the quality of the work and their willingness to go above and beyond. They didn't just scoop out debris; they performed a full system inspection. They found a crucial misalignment issue on the back of the house that was causing the major leak. Instead of just cleaning and leaving, they fixed the pitch and sealed the joint on the spot, solving a problem that multiple other companies missed or ignored. The gutters now flow perfectly, even during heavy rain. They also did the best cleanup I've ever seen--absolutely no mess, leaves, or debris were left on my lawn, deck, or driveway. They treated my property with respect. If you need basic cleaning or, like us, you need an expert to finally fix a recurring issue, stop searching and call Gutter Tuneup. They are worth every single penny. Highest recommendation possible!

Wanted to give a huge "shout out" to Community Roofing & Restoration for the absolutely outstanding…read morejob they did on my roof! The new dark shingles gave my house a complete face lift, a new look and I couldn't be happier. They went above and beyond in so many ways. Their entire team was professional, competent and continually kept me updated and was a joy to work with. They pointed out areas that needed repair that could have caused issues down the road that other roofers didn't even acknowledge. They also did an extra job that wasn't "roof related" but had the ability to do. This saved me from hiring another contractor. We ran into a little "snafu" (which can happen!) but they addressed it expeditiously and efficiently. I would highly recommend them! I trusted them which is so crucial in making such a large investment. And of course, get other bids. But no one will be able to match what they can and will do. Thanks to all involved!!

We were initially so excited about working with Community Roofing, but our new gutters and roof…read moreended up damaging our home and are quickly becoming an eyesore. We expected our roof and gutters to last longer than three years, and unfortunately that is not the case. We invested in seamless gutters that were supposed to be customized and properly secured to our building, but that is not at all what we received. Community Roofing did not properly fasten the gutters to the fascia, so they are falling off of the building. In some sections, Community Roofing sloped the gutters toward our house instead of the downspouts, creating water intrusion problems. The shingles are already starting to look shabby and some have nails starting to protrude. The customer service has been even worse than the workmanship. We reached out to Community Roofing repeatedly and they just blew us off.

I had several companies make bids on a new roof. I wasn't looking for the lowest price, but I…read morewasn't looking for the highest price either. Rob's roofing ended up costing several thousand dollars less than one of my higher estimates. He came out personally to my home and made recommendations. He never tried to upsell me and was very honest and polite. A very professional crew tore down my old roof and installed the new one. They were very cautious and careful and left the yard completely clean and free of any nails or roofing material. The straightforward approach sent me a written estimate along with a contract. They never asked for a deposit, just payment in full upon completion. I'm very pleased with their professionalism and would highly recommend them. A pleasure to deal with.

After several months with our new roof, we have had a few leaks. I do not attribute the leaks to…read moreissues with their workmanship. Unfortunately I have a low pitched roof so during the recent heavy rains, we've had some water seepage probably due to too much water on the roof. I have emailed Rob's roofing about the leaks on several occasions and each time, they come out and take care of the offending leak. They even went as far as to remove an edge vent that was preventing the natural flow of water off my roof which was causing water backups and leaks. They installed regular vents in it's place and that solved the leaking issue. We've had some torrential downpours over the past month or so and the attic has remained dry. So, Rob's roofing does stand by their product. No run-around or excuses. They came right out and fixed whatever needed fixing.

Overall, excellent experience. There was a fairly substantial (3 week) delay in getting the work…read moreunderway, but this is not unheard of in the home /repair contractor business. Also, the dumpster that was needed to be dropped measured 8X 20 ----a good peice of info to have. The quote I received to do the work was fair--this is a smaller, and, in my experience, honest local company that is not out to gouge you. Once they were able to show up and do the work, they were fast, professional, courteous and efficient. A crew of 3 guys tore my rotten clay tile roof off, and replaced it with asphalt shingle in just 1 day----- on a 25 x 25 ft Greendale original home with a pyramid hip roof, plus a small adjacent, 10 X 8 ft utility room roof, plus a cleaned up the yard fairly decently as well, before leaving that day. (The dumpster remained till the following day though--but it was also removed quickly at jobs end) The company has been professional during every step of the process. The crew cleaned up fairly well, but there were a few things --some tile chips and debris here and there, 2 or 3 roofing nails left in the driveway, some tile and debris on the front porch overhang, and some scrapes on the siding where tile had scraped when it was pushed off the roof--(which were easily removed with mineral spirits) , and a piece of scaffold equipment still up on the roof near the chimney which was possibly left for inspection purposes. I can't complain though --considering the monumental mess with piles of debris this job created. Owner Keith sent a follow-up guy to clean up these things to my satisfaction and the guy made sure I was happy with everything was A-OK before he left. The cleaner that was used to remove the scrape marks worked like a charm--with no marks visible after. The house looks exactly as it did before the job began except now it has a new roof! This company prides itself on doing a good job and getting Angie's List rewards, it means a lot to them. I thought the price for the job was fair. Also, they provide a 10-year warranty on their work, and the shingles themselves have a 50-year warranty on them, in case there are unforeseen issues ahead. They deserve the solid reviews they get. I would hire them again. And may do so for an attic insulation job, which they also specialize in.
