To start off, if you expect this company to open at 9am, don't hold your breath. I was there at 8:45am and there was no one there at 9:20 when I had to leave for another appointment. This company which may be good in many aspects, doesn't account for those who are capable of doing most of their own maintenance. I chose this place to try them out and all I wanted was an oil change. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't go in and say find whatever you can and try to sell me on it. Just do the oil change. I know what's going on with my car. Too many years working on mechanical stuff. He came back with the car needing spark plugs changed out as well as the brake pads. Then went on to tell me that I couldn't change the rear pads and only qualified technicians could. Seems strange that I have done it 2 other times all by my lonesome with the right tools. I have changed my own plugs regularly and even torqued them to specs without help from a computer. All this company relies on is whatever the computer tells them and I have found that the computer can and has been wrong before and I always trust what I see smell touch and hear. The car set for over 2 hours before I finally get a notice that they wanted to do all the work for 1000.00, something I can do for about 300.00. I am actually changing the coil packs, spark plugs, brake pads front and back, and brake sensors for 443.00. granted it's my labor but well worth it. The only reason I'm changing the plugs is to verify if they were actually bad. I don't believe they are but I just did a tune on the car and planned on installing new coil packs anyway so why not the plugs as well. I received multiple texts from the company and a phone call to persuade me not to give a bad review but this isn't what I asked for. Plain and simple, I wanted the oil changed and they couldn't get that done in 2.5 hours. I had another car lined up for an oil change after the first if they would have just done what is asked... Their loss. Back to my trusted mechanic I have used for years. Update, I was inundated with text after text about how the computer is always right and and he didn't do an actual physical inspection of anything. If it's on the computer, it must always be right. Don't worry about actually physically checking anything. It's the only way he can upsale and show more of a profit because he is trying to sell the company, as he mentioned in one of the many texts I received. This is not a trustworthy company who I feel scams unsuspecting customers who may not know the mechanical aspects of cars. Buyer beware. Went to a non-BMW shop because it was highly recommended by a friend. Shop ended up doing a lackluster job with non OEM parts. The "repair" failed and led to other problems. My 2016 BMW 340i was about to go out of warranty so I took it to the dealership for any warranty and recall work that it might need. They came back with $1300 in recommended repairs (mostly this was a new battery and a park brake bracket repair). Elite Bimmer is near my home so I took it over to Dino and his team they did the same work at the same level of quality as the dealership but for hundreds less. Great little small shop specializing in BMW's. The service provided would have cost me upwards double the amount at the dealership. They are BMW certified mechanics and got the job done in under an hour. The owner is very personable and up front with what he (i.e. they) can do for you and your car.
