Honestly one of the very few ranges that allow almost everything indoors. I'm giving it 5 stars because the staff is super chill and laid back. Given the hostility the State of California gives us law abiding gun owners Elite Armory Plus does the best they can. The range is always clean and temperature controlled. Needed to try out my 1911 and was told by a coworker of mine that this spot was perfect. We got there and the help was friendly and the store was clean and stocked. What i really liked was that was the entire staff rotated helping customers with questions and counter service taking time to explain to a group asking many questions and turning the Muti tasking skills up to eliminate any wait. I normally frequent Guns Fishing & Other Stuff in Dublin but since it's still closed, I ventured a bit further to shoot at Elite Armory Plus. I'm used to arriving an hour prior to opening to get a spot in line and did exactly that at this range. Showed up on a Friday morning at 10a and found the lot empty (they open at 11a). Besides employees, no patrons arrived until around 10:55a. There were 3 of us in line but only two of us were shooting at the range so they brought us in and had us fill out our waivers. Super easy process as they hand you an ipad and you just put in some basic information. Once that's done, they check if you need anything (ammo, eye/ear protection, additional targets) and send you on your way to the range. Range was very modern and clean with each lane having a digital reader showing your target's distance. They have a total of 10 lanes and less than half were occupied during my entire hour. I'm not sure if this was the norm for a weekday but it was a very pleasant experience that I'd easily recommend to anyone looking for a place to shoot. Will definitely be returning soon! read more

I had a great experience here this weekend. Took the Pistols I & II courses they were offering and got some really great beginner's training with Expert Firearms Training. The facility was really nice, clean and welcoming. The employees were all very helpful and answered any questions I had..they are also ready to make any recommendations about firearms that you may be considering. Its so great to have an indoor range right here in Tracy. I will be purchasing my first gun from them and keeping it local! Looking forward to shooting here often. read more

Recently went to this range in Tracy and gotta say I missed not having a gun range close to home . I'm glad they reopened and everyone there seemed very chill and laid back making it a hassless range day for me. Will definitely be coming back and with some friends instead of driving all the way to Manteca for the out door range. I was able to get the shooting range all for myself, I definitely went at the right time. Haha I wonder if there is any plans/membership package perks for the range and store items. Can't wait til it's fully open with tons of gun accessories and things to buy. Also what's nice is that this range dosen't have a certain type of ammunition material restriction like other places I been to that doesn't allow you to shoot steel and aluminum casings. read more

Ehh, get bad vibes from the staff here, act like they don't wanna help, they see you then hide in the room for 10 minutes before you get help, then when you do get help you're greeted with whole lotta bad attitude. I asked him "you having a bad day?" he said "nah just been a long day" idgaf don't transfer that negativity onto the customer and do your mf job. Place is garbage. We live quite far from them so we wanted to make sure they were open and my amazing husband could pick up his shotgun that he purchased but no one answers the phone. I hope this place goes out of business for the lack of customer service. Especially during this pandemic, they should at least answer their phone otherwise, what's the point of having a phone number listed if no one will ever answer it!!! read more

Spent an entire weekend at Elite Armory Plus in a beginner class taught by Roy Bryson of Expert Firearms Training. The guys at Elite we're so patient and helpful. They took time to answer all my questions and helped me to pick out the right magazine I needed explaining the differences along the way. It gets quite busy in there but they never made me feel rushed. Having never been to an indoor range, I was nervous about being in an enclosed room with a bunch of people shooting. After watching for a while on the video screens, I realized they keep a close watch on what is going on in the lanes. If they saw something they didn't like, they immediately went in and addressed it or called for a cease fire. They also walk through frequently. It put me at ease knowing that they watch everything that goes on in the lanes. The only downfall of being indoors is that it's quite loud, even with ear protection, when people are shooting the larger guns. This is a great place and I'm very glad Tracy still has a gun range. Nice clean indoor range with 10 lanes. They appear to have a decent selection of guns, but their prices are just okay. Typical for CA though. One ding is their transfer fee for guns bought online and shipped to them is $150! That's crazy expensive, and done to prevent online purchasing IMHO. I understand why shops do it, but then don't jack up the prices of your guns so much! At any rate still it's a cool place to go shoot. read more

First time visit at this store. Have bought at Castro Valley store for years. Great guys and The owners Ronnie and Gabe are terrific and knowledgeable. Caters to practical/tactical which is the key for me. Always fair prices and good service and advise. The indoor range is excellent; well ventilated and allows variable intensity light. I frequent here with my son cuz youth shoot free here, even after the ownership change. They give shooter free target too. The friendly, knowledgeable and tacticool staff are largely intact (thank Goodness) so is the best looking pitbull east of Livermore valley. Staff is armed so you feel safe here. The shop now is well stocked. The range is clean , spacious, and functional with good distance . I also like to browse consignment section. One time I bought an old Smith Wesson kit revolver 22lr here! Recently I dros a rock island made tanfoglio pistol that is also rare to find. So come support them! read more

Been shooting here a couple times in the past 2 months. Its a good range with a pretty good selection of rentals. I've brought a couple of my friends who are first time shooters here and they loved it. Even through the pandemic they're had all ammo in stock except 38 and 357 . They have their own bulk reloads for a good price if you want to save ammo but always have new 50round boxes in stock. Live in Brentwood but its for sure my go to range. read more

This is hard one to review. So let's start with the pro's. Easy to find, conveniently located. Knowledgeable staff. Con's. SAFETY! #1 Rentals. They rent guns to women who are then bugging me on how to use, load, and clear the damn gun when it jams. I said women, because that's been my experience with that sort of thing, but men might do it too. #2, kids. I actually had to leave the firing line, go outside and speak with one of the employees about young kids running around while people are shooting. Had crayons and were coloring all over the place. Running up to dad while hes shooting, a real day care nightmare. It's scary when you got to tell them, they should be watching. The rental business is scary to. They are always right next to me, and Im getting barrel flashed by ladies in pink camouflage by Gucci, who thought shooting would be fun. Luckily these things only happen on the weekends, so my advice is to go during the week. read more

Attended a class at Elite Armory put on by Expert Firearms Training. All of the Elite Armory staff are amazing. They had no problem answering all of our questions (as new shooters) we had many. They were very supportive and encouraging to our class. The lanes were very clean and they had amazing targets. After class a few of us stayed to take our FSC test and they were extremely helpful with that process. I highly recommend Elite Armory. I look forward to purchasing my first gun from them. If they don't have it...THE WILL GET IT! They went out of their way to help me with a specific scope cap I couldn't find anywhere for my Aimpoint. They ordered it from the vendor direct and then didn't even charge me for it. The vendor sent it to them free so they didn't charge me for it. They could have easily charged me the retail cost but didn't. Great store, great staff. L/E friendly! Started coming here some months back when I first purchased my AR-15. It was the first place I had ever shot it. When I came in the staff was very helpful and respectful. Wonderful selection of pistols and rifles plus ammo. I have never purchased a gun from Elite but I will be soon. I love the staff. For me it's kind of like the old show " cheers" I wanna go where everybody knows your name. I always have fun in the range. I love to bring my new tools in and discuss them with the staff and even let them shoot a couple of rounds if they get the opportunity. Recently just purchased a RIA VR-80 and brought it in to test out. Needless to say it was a blast. It was even fun to see other shooters looking and wondering what it was. And the look on their faces when they shoot it. Like I said in the beginning since my first visit I have been a regular. Even brought in a bunch of family and friends to feel the experience. Everyone I bring loves it. I have tried a couple of others across the bay area but they either dont have that family feel or you have only a small selection of what you can shoot. Normally when I come I am double fisted with my bag equipped with my VR-80 and AR-15. Also my pistols and they all get some work. My only gripe with Elite is I cant go everyday. With all that been said I have to quit being cheap and invest in the membership, and if I am not mistaken the 1 year is about $500 with all types of perks that fit a frequent shooter. By far the best range around. I was just there yesterday after a month hiatus and I got the itch so I had to go. And I will be there for sure this weekend. read more

New ownership seems to be good and friendly, last owner seemed to want to sell Glock only as they catered to the police. I went in wanting a specific handgun and they did not try to push a more expensive or any other handgun on me. Only problem now is the shooting range is like an oven, AC seems to be turned up very high and it gets very hot in there. read more

First time in since the new owners. Went in for a private party transfer. Two employees working the counter. One helpful and interested. The other wasn't nice. I tried to talk to him and ask questions. He didn't even look at me or respond. Seems like business as usual like the old TRP for that guy (who is pictured with the red shirt in the classroom pics). Dealing with other employees was a different experience. 2 stars because I'm sick of having exceptionally poor customer service at that building.
