Regularly, I would order refills using the portal only to end up calling the doctor's office to get things done after days passed with nothing happening. (The outgoing message for the doctor encouraged using the portal for refills.) Communications to Dr. A via the portal would often lack a proper response, too. I became tired wasting time having to repeat communications. Also, at times, Dr. A appeared hurried -- not a calming, relaxed bedside manner typical of physicians I see. He was refused care because he didn't understand the need to pay something that was not initially disclosed after making the trip to the office. This could have been disclosed over the phone or before he filled out paperwork (he has insurance).
