Moussaka
Ruben P.

Food was very good, we ordered sea bass seviche (served in a half coconut and they also bring to the table the coconut water in a glass ) Pikilia ( hummus, eggplant and Tzatziki with pita bread) A breakfast plate, combine dried fruit, nuts, olives, Greek bread, eggs, ham and jellies lamb, Moussaka ( the less favorite dish) and some non alcoholic drinks. Prices are reasonable for the portions and quality of the ingredients. The bread table and the olive spread was very good. I can't stop to eat it. Service was very friendly, professional and very good. The ambiance is Mediterranean style , simple and elegant. Yes. Will return, but to Campbell location that it's more close to my home.

Lobster and noodles

I took my wife to Elia for our anniversary and I enjoyed my time there. The servers are friendly and the ambiance is chic. We ordered the appetizer combo with the hummus, veggies, pita, and egg plant and the eggplant was the star of that dish. We ordered grilled lamb and the lobster noodles. Lamb was soft and very flavorful. The lobster was prepared well and the noodles nice and chewy. Great restaurant we enjoyed our time.

Bucatini with Lobster tail

Came here for a work event. Service was very professional and generally prompt, though our main dishes seemed a tad slower (perhaps to time our larger group together though). Tried a few Greek wines, and had the lobster pasta, with what I recall as bucatini (could be wrong). It was beautiful and delicious as expected. Popped out of the shell display and sliced it up for a wonderful dinner with coworkers. Colors reminiscent of Greek isles, with the blues and white, plus owls and eye painted decor. It felt casual but professional. Quieter on a Wednesday, but a nice stop for that Mediterranean fix with a bit of class. Enjoy.

My wedding anniversary quickly approached and as usual, my wife and I will go out to eat at a restaurant. We really enjoy Main St. in Pleasanton and hadn't tried Elia yet so we decided to make a reservation and come here on a Monday evening. This restaurant is gorgeous! It's very charming yet fancy at the same time. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. To be fair, it was a slow Monday and there was plenty of seating. We opted to sit outside due to the nice weather. They brought us waters and bread to get started which I appreciated. For drinks, my wife went with the Cab and I chose an old fashioned. Both came out promptly. For appetizer's, keep in mind they're not very large portions and can take a bit to come out. I suggest 1 appetizer will be enough for two people. Order more than you think you need if you're hungry or it's a larger party. Since it was later in the day, we both chose salads for our entrees. They were delicious! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Our server and service was great- we were checked up on just enough but not too much. Our server was soft spoken, friendly and efficient. I always enjoy working with a server who is professional, courteous and not overly invasive. Not only do I plan on coming back, I'm going to be telling all my friends and family about Elia. Will definitely be doing a birthday or two here in the near future.

Saganaki $17.00+ Skillet-fried flaming kefalothiri cheese, brandy,lemon

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Any Party of 6+ adds 20% gratuity. The restaurant was very nice and clean, got like an ocean vibe with the decor. Love how open the restaurant is with windows and natural lighting. The food was alright and pretty expensive. We individually ordered, but shared like family style including appetizers. We tried the Saganaki $17.00+ Skillet-fried flaming kefalothiri cheese, brandy, lemon? It was okay. To me, it just tasted like cheese topping from a slice of pizza. It was cool to see it being lit on fire though. I did like the fried calamari, that was delicious especially with the sauce. I ordered the mushroom and spinach omelette $19. It came with potatoes and fruit like watermelon. It was decent, I mean it's an omelette so what can I say, lol. The serving size was perfect to share. Our server was good. The woman who helped us clean our plates and refilled our water was very attentive as well. The bathrooms were clean, two stalls. Parking is available in the back or on the street.

Fantastic brunch vibes at Elia. The food was out of this world amazing. Never a miss with Greek food, but I was so happy to see authentic/classic dishes on the menu. Price point was fair for the quality and the drinks, man oh man the drinks...would come back specifically for those. The decor was absolutely stunning and our server was spunky and attentive. I enjoyed every ounce and morsel. Can't wait to come back.

Pulling up to the restaurant they have valet so that's a plus bc trying to find parking downtown is hard. The table was ready for our reservation. We decided to bring our own bottles bc a bottle of champagne is around $300 but the corking fee is only $35. So just bring your own. Our Table ordered the salmon, the steak, the chicken, the pork, and the Halibut. I usually Larry of ordering fish because I'm scared. It's going to be dry, but they were both so soft and juicy and waste. We ordered the oysters and the tuna tartare for appetizers. Very very good. We didn't get a dessert menu, so that was sad, but we were full anyways. I didn't notice once I drove home an hour and a half away that the Valet let a key in my car to the lockbox. They did ask me to drive it back. However, I live an hour and a half away so that's not happening. So next month when I'm in Sacramento I'll drop it off.

Lobster pasta

I LOVE Elia. Every time I came here for dinner. The food that I ordered never go wrong. I came here on Saturday around 6:30 pm for dinner. This place was jam packed due to lots of people coming here to pre-celebrate Mother's Day. My party ordered the combo spread, grilled octopus, zucchini cakes, baratta as appetizers. Lobster pasta and lamb chops for entrees. All of them are at least 4 out of 5 ratings. Grilled octopus are Lamb chops are my favorite. I strongly recommend Elia if you want some good food, ambience and service. I am coming back again soon. :)

Seafood paella (lobster on top)
Breanne B.

Been here 5 times now. The seafood paella keeps me coming back! This time I asked for them to take the lobster out of shell for me. They did but they did it before cooking so it turned into a small curl, I definitely feel like I got less this way so I'll go back to getting it out of the shell myself. Spanakopita is a great appetizer and I need it every time I it's wonderful even though they don't serve it with any dipping sauce. You only get 2 pieces. Desserts are all presented beautifully. The appetizer bread with olive oil tapenade is fabulous! Service is great here. Restrooms are clean and stocked with extras like tissue and mouthwash. Tried escargot for the first time, it's a no for me. Sokolatina is a must!! It Was heavenly- warm chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, antep pistachio

BURRATA
Paolo C.

Elia made for a really satisfying dinner. The Seabass Carpaccio, Halibut, Burrata, and Arnisia Plevrakia (Lamb Riblets) were all delicious -- every dish was well-crafted and full of flavor. The bright Mediterranean atmosphere is charming and genuinely well done, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. It's a great date night spot. It's on the pricier side, which makes it more of an occasion dinner than an everyday go-to. Worth every bite for the right night out.

In Pleasanton downtown. Quite but in good condition. With a friend in the Sunday morning. Steak egg set is so yummy. Service is fine.

They can get a little busy, so be patient with the staff as their drinks are very popular and might take a little bit. The staff was really friendly, attentive, and gave us clear expectations for wait times the whole time. The ambience was awesome for the pop-up, the decorations were super cute, and the attention to detail was awesome. Me and my boyfriend were guessing how many hours it might've took for them to decorate the whole place. It was awesome and super decked out The drinks were really yummy, food came out fresh. This would be nice for a simple date night, as well as hang out with friends. I've come during the week and on the weekend. It doesn't matter which time I've come it's been GREAT! Today I came on a Sunday and they actually have a Sunday brunch where they have a live DJ they play music. They have shots going around it's fun and if you're going out with the family like I did today, you can sit in the upper area that's away from everyone else having the brunch fun. It was still fine even though we brought the kids and sat in the upper area. We could still hear the music and enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend this place. It's a shame that I live so far away in Tracy that I only get to come once in a while because if I lived closer, I would come every weekend.!!! The desserts are so good!!!

I get that it was busy, so I wasn't thrilled but understanding when drinks took 30 minutes. We also ordered chips and guacamole. However, the timeline of how the rest of the visit went down was just unacceptable: * The Drink Delay: I completely finished two beers before my friends even received the club sodas they ordered. * The Forgotten Food: After 20 minutes of waiting, I asked our server to check on the guac. He said he would. Another 20 minutes passed, and a group of girls who sat down after us ordered and received all of their food. It was glaringly obvious our server forgot to ring our order in. * The "Management": When I got up to ask for a manager, she was at the bar pretending to be busy, and the server flat-out refused to go get her. When I told the server to just ask the kitchen to rush the guac since it was missed, he looked completely lost. Maybe he was just a host? When the front line staff is completely lost and the leadership is actively hiding behind the taps, it's pretty clear the ship is sinking from the top down. Thanks for the TVs, but maybe spend a little less time avoiding your job and a little more time teaching your staff how a kitchen ticket works.

A few helpful things to know: * $2 cover charge per person * Bring your ID no matter how old you are * Doors open at 6pm with food service and open dancing/practice time The food menu is WAY bigger than what's shown online, which was a pleasant surprise. They also have $2 beef or chicken tacos until 9pm, and overall the food-to-price value is solid. At 7pm, they start the dance lessons: * Line dancing lesson (~40 minutes) * Followed by either partner two-step or swing dancing (alternates every other week) The crowd was all ages (21+ obviously -- and let's just say I'm on the older side), all skill levels, and very beginner-friendly. I'm pretty uncoordinated, and honestly this was some of the best line dancing instruction I've had. After 9pm, lessons end/open dancez A couple practical tips: * There's really nowhere to stash your stuff, so keep it simple -- pockets or a fanny pack work great * Wear closed-toe shoes if possible unless you want your toes stepped on * No one is judging style here, which actually made it more comfortable and fun Overall: low pressure, affordable, welcoming, and a genuinely good time.

I mean this in quite literally the best way possible. We had a great time (I just had no clue it was a country bar). When you enter, you pay the cover charge and are greeted by a giant bucking horse statue. There is a nice little (and free) digital photobooth at the entrance too. You walk into the bar area and BAM there's a mechanical bull! When you walk a little further in, you will be delighted to see a packed dance floor of line dancers grooving together to the beat. On this Friday night, it was absolutely packed with a diverse crowd. The music wasn't necessarily country but played a majority of the common line dancing hits. Even people that didn't know how to line dance were having a great time. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. We saw the bartender making a delicious-looking drink for the people next to us and we asked for whatever they were having. She told us it was a Moscow Mule with grenadine. It ended up being very tasty. It was not the strongest drink out there but still very good. There is plenty of seating available throughout the bar. There are booths, long benches and tables, and stools close to the dance floor. I noticed that there was a group that reserved some of the long tables for a birthday party (which I will definitely take note of for the future) My group decided to head out and return later. Luckily, because we still had our initial entry stamps on our wrists, we were let back in without facing the cover charge again. Overall, even if you are not into the whole country vibe, I'm sure you would have a fantastic time here.
