Great food! Really great attentive staff! A solid dining pedestal in a city that is desperate for such. Great pricing through the entire menu... Wine list included. Bravo to the entire Eleven team.

Cozy inside.

** I must first preface this review by saying that I'm rating this restaurant by Bakken oil field standards - NOT by big city standards! Anyone who's been to this area of the country or lives here knows what I'm talking about. ** Alright, so if I had an important business dinner, hot date, or found myself missing the more refined foods I've enjoyed while living in bigger cities, this would probably be the place I'd come. It's arguably the nicest restaurant in the Bakken (at least in the Williston/Watford City areas). Housed in a restored old Elk's Lodge, Eleven Restaurant & Lounge boasts white table cloths, dim/moody lighting, an attentive yet aloof black-clad waitstaff reminiscent of the struggling actor/waiters of Los Angeles, and an extensive yet meat-heavy menu. If you come here for dinner, your wallet will be significantly lighter when you leave as they charge an arm, leg, and first born child for relatively small amounts of food. My hubby was gunning to order a small steak for $50...that is until he found out that this steak came by itself - no side salad, no soup, no sides even - just a small piece of steak chillin' alone on a plate. The waiter asked him if he'd liked to purchase a side dish. Really?! It's not like we're in Beverly Hills. Instead, he ended up ordering the smoked rabbit - which was a horror story in itself (see photo if you dare). The rabbit, which looked like a small whale tail, came out tasting like jerky - good but tough and hard to eat (or watch it being eaten - ick!). I think we will both have nightmares about that dish for years to come. As for me, I've ordered a delicious cheese plate, some decent baked brie, some alright cheese ravioli, and some passable creme brûlées. Nothing has ever been really amazing but nothing (except that frightening smoked rabbit) has been horrible. Overall, Eleven is probably the best restaurant I've eaten at up here aside from some of the little culinary gems in Bismarck. Yet, I just can't bring myself to give it a full five stars due to the exorbitant pricing, small portions, and average food quality.

Osso bucco

Wow I had the osso bucco tonight and it was so good!!! I also had the tuna tartar and omg I wish I could've had 2 or 3 of those it was so good! My one complaint is the restaurant itself is dated and needs a lift but not horrible. Maybe better presentation with drink as well.

The original closing time when this was a lodge. So said the staff.

I was very happy with my meal. I had the shrimp cocktail, nice salad and the pot roast. Loved it all. Service was great.

Aside from a black hair in the shower, the service was excellent, rooms were nicer than I thought…read morethey would be considering the location. I find that hotel rooms are rarely ever clean - this one was pretty clean. Hairs in showers always gross me out especially when they're black (I'm blonde so I know they're not mine). I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional level of customer service!

Property opened March 2012 with 88 Suites. Everything new and fresh and expect to pay a higher…read moreamount then most places in town. Service is basic and not as helpful as you would think based on first impressions. It's nice looking soon as you walk in but don't let that fool you. Music on loudly in lobby which doesn't seem to bother you at first unless you have a room just above the lobby area. AT 10pm is loud as hell. Of course I asked them to turn it down and they turn it off for the nigh. There's breakfast in the morning in a large room just beyond the front desk but the downside is that they have reconstituted eggs and microwaved bacon so I'm eating out because that just turns me off in the morning. I'll grab a banana and that's about it. There's a work out room with free weights & cardiovascular equipment. There's both an indoor hot tub and pool next to each other and some tables and chairs on the inside pool deck..towels provided but if you're a female, I suggest to pass it up since all the perverted men come down there and probably pee in the water. There's an outdoor sun patio with chaise lounge chairs to relax in but for my stay, the construction of the parking lot paving and building across the street isn't desirable at all. But..it will eventually complete and you can relax when its all done that's if all the perverted men in town aren't staring at you up and down. God forbid you look them straight in the eye. They would construe that as an invitation. They have free coffee, tea and hot water all day in the same room they serve breakfast..nothing special. Property is near the main drag so you can access everything fast but watch out for careless drivers. It's all an accident waiting to happen. Wal-mart is next door as is the airport and once again it's perv central. You can walk to both although I wouldn't suggest it. Do your homework about this town first before you venture out on foot. It's not something you see around here I almost forgot to mention that if you travel with any valuables and you'd like to lock it up..each room is equipped with a safe in the closet that you choose your own pin to use. If you get lower level rooms, be prepared to hear stomping of elephants above you. People here have no consideration for the folks below them and in addition if you are in a room on the 1st level near the lobby, you hear absolutely everything..so I can't stress it enough. Bring your earplugs but hopefully you can hear your alarm go off in the morning. So far every night I've been here thus far (6 nights) I've been awakened to slamming of doors, noisy lobby sound system that's way too loud (apparently the installer put speakers in wrong), neighboring rooms who patrons can't find their "inside' voice etc. I feel like a walking zombie most days. I get to leave here for another establishment on the 1st. Thank you for small miracles. I hope my next experience is better.
