I've been to fancier nail salons that had okay-ish reviews, and the reviews were just that they liked the vibes. This place is totally clean and pleasant, well-lit, spacious enough -- but it's nothing super fancy, and that's how you know the good reviews on here don't lie!!! Most places don't clean up the cuticle very well and you end up with nice gel nails that cover a yucky cuticle for a few days before growing out and leaving a gap that snags on everything for the next week or so. This place does an excellent job on the cuticle, and the nail tech Melissa obliged when I asked her to get the polish as close as she could to the cuticle line. It's not fully "tucked" like a Russian style manicure, but it's very close to it and I appreciate that. The polish is also really nice and smoothed down real flat, no raised edges to get caught and snagged. I appreciate that too! I also appreciated that both nail techs, Monae and Melissa, used the efile appropriately without grinding my nailbed to shreds. That's the second biggest issue I have with most other nail salons I try, and why I rarely go to any nail salon a second time. Most places just got too nuts with the efile to the point where when your manicure wears off your nails are just destroyed underneath. They didn't do this here! Very careful with the efile and only used where needed, and my nails don't feel like a damaged flaky mess under the hard gel. Feels like they got my nails just textured enough to bond really well with the gel, minimal damage. Thanks to the restrained efiling and excellent cuticle work, my mani and pedi still aren't wearing off at all, so I figured I'd come leave a nice review here!! I'll definitely be back!

My only comment is that these days no matter what nail salon you go to, they all charge about the same rates. But the service they provide is a lot less than they used to provide. Meaning that they would do the callus removal as part of a basic pedicure. Now everything is a la carte and they add all these things on to the charges. That being said, this was my first time at this nail salon. I was greeted by a gentleman that I think is either the owner or the manager who was very nice. He checked me in and showed me these books of different colors that I could choose for my pedicure. I did have an appointment already scheduled. Don was my nail technician and he did a great job. He was very thorough and did a great job with the foot massage. He didn't speak much but that's okay. He did a great job of what he was supposed to do and trimmed and polished my toenails and I would go back to see him again. The space is very chill and welcoming and they have three or four TVs going at the same time with no volume on, and they have music playing in the background that's not too loud, rather very laid-back music. I saw some customers getting bottled water out of a fridge but I don't know if that's offered to everyone or just certain clients. It also looks like they have some kind of membership where you get discounts and I'm not sure about that either. I did not ask about that. The gentleman just began cutting my toes and digging into the side of my big toes and then I started bleeding...I had to pull my toe away to make him stop. Traci my nail tech did a great job with my feet but I didn't get a foot massage that it was described in the menu. I also didn't care for the fact she put hot candle wax on my legs that came from a burning candle. She cut my nails short which I was happy that she did. Her nephew did my pedicure and he did just as bad, my toenail polish is all over the cuticles, and already peeling and chipping, after 2 hours. I will have to reshape and paint my own nails now after paying 116$. I don't recommend and I won't be going back.
