Stopped in twice now to do some work. Lattes have been great! I've tried the churros latte and salted vanilla latte. They feature Because Coffee Roasters, out of Dawsonville and they have a great selection of alternative milks. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. They have transformed this old downtown building into something unique! The barista has been wonderful to chat with and get to know. They stop coffee service at 12, but they have little events throughout the week for adult beverages and socializing. Live music some nights also. Yes, Cartersville has several coffee shops, but give Elevate a try, you won't be disappointed!

A perfect environment to relax, network and plenty of spots to work comfortably. Great music and many food options from local businesses.

"There's something magical about rooftops. You feel like you're in 'Mary Poppins."…read moreGeorge Clarke There really is something special about being on a rooftop on a perfect summer evening, and it's great to have it right in downtown Sugar Hill. I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

When the special of the night is "Alfredo... with chicken, pork, or steak, take your pick!" and it's also already on the menu... this is a red flag. I quickly started scanning the menu for something that might not give me food poisoning. When the food is stored in outside freezers and there's a horde of live cats running around everywhere... it's a red flag. I love good bar food, but this was not good. My wife's Philly Cheesesteak tasted like propane gas. My chili dog was on par with something you might get at a junior high football game. Even my kids rejected their chicken tenders, which is saying something. Just 100% industrial, frozen, crap. The $13 margarita was even bad. It tasted like bad sour mix and may have had a drop or two of tequila in it. Giving one star for the server, who tried her best. And the location on the river was very nice. Service was slow too though. This was the worst $85 "dinner" I've had in a very, very long time. For the love of god, reduce the size of your menu and do a few things really well. No one wants a bunch of frozen entrees at a bar.

I sat inside where there was table, bar, and highboy seating. I ordered the Smoked & Fried Wings buffalo, with upcharge for flats/drums and an extra sauce (one Ranch and one Bleu Cheese). And the Shorty Johnson, which is a pair of deep fried back-wrapped beef dogs with a side of fries. The wings were scrawny without much meat. But the flavors were great and the smokiness came through. And the buffalo seasoning was nice and the flats were tender. The Blue cheese dipping sauce was chunky and had a good flavor. The Ranch dipping sauce was boring and did not have the punchy flavor of a hand made dressing. The carrot and celery were adequate. The hot dog was properly cooked and drained and the bacon wrapping had a good texture. But there was no bacon flavor, although the flavor of the dog itself was good. The bun was dry and flavorless. The side of fries were cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned and a good portion. Service was barely adequate. They delivered the wings but did not provide any napkins and I had to wait for them to pass by and get their attention to request them. My drink refill was also a bit slow in coming.

There's a couple that owns it or their heart and soul into this restaurant. Most of us opted for the Sunday lunch, chicken and waffles. The tenders were hand breaded very tasty. Good crunch. I really enjoyed the tenders. The hot honey sauce I had on the side and it was excellent. I also got some regular syrup for my waffle which was very good. The six of us four of us got the chicken waffles. Also the french fries were very good. So if you're coming visiting the area, stop by .? Come out and support these people. We will.

AG Steakhouse in Acworth delivers exactly what you hope for in a traditional American steakhouse --…read moreand then surprises you with a creative Japanese influence that makes the experience stand out. From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for the evening. Our server, Lizzy, was outstanding: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Excellent service like this immediately elevates a dining experience, and she made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the steak. We shared a massive 50-ounce ribeye, cooked beautifully and bursting with flavor. The meat was exceptionally tender, richly marbled, and perfectly prepared -- easily the kind of steak that justifies a visit on its own. Before the main course, we explored the sushi bar menu and ordered the crispy rice appetizer, which turned out to be one of the most memorable dishes of the evening. Tempura-fried sushi rice topped with spicy tuna, chili garlic, and a soy glaze created an incredible balance of texture and flavor -- crispy, spicy, savory, and slightly sweet all at once. It was a standout and a perfect example of the restaurant's successful fusion approach. The sides were solid complements to the meal. The fries were thick, plump, and pleasantly crunchy, while the sautéed onions were classic steakhouse fare done well. The bread service was another pleasant surprise, featuring soft, tender rolls alongside pão de queijo -- a delightful Brazilian touch that we did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed. For a two-person dinner -- including one appetizer, a large shared steak, two sides, and water (no alcohol or dessert) -- the total came to about $300 including a 20% tip. AG Steakhouse successfully blends classic steakhouse excellence with creative menu options that keep the experience interesting and memorable. We left impressed -- and already planning our return. We'll definitely be back.
