From the start, Hanna really stood out. He's not just a contractor--he genuinely knows what he's doing. He walked me through everything, explained the process, and caught multiple issues from the previous work that I didn't even realize were problems. Instead of cutting corners, he fixed everything the right way. They handled new framing, opening up walls, plumbing corrections, and a full rebuild of the space. The craftsmanship really shows, especially in the details. The shower tile work is flawless, and the shampoo niche came out super clean and well-designed. The new tile flooring ties everything together perfectly, and the paint finish gives the whole bathroom a fresh, modern coastal feel. Wes was also great to work with--professional, efficient, and clearly takes pride in his work. You can tell these guys care about doing things properly, not just getting the job done. What I appreciated most was the honesty and attention to detail. Hanna is just a great guy overall--easy to talk to, reliable, and someone you can trust to make the right decisions on your project. Buyer Beware. We hired Cabinet Wholesalers for a bathroom…read moreremodel that resulted in serious defects, including plumbing leaks, water damage, mold, tile failure, and cracked shower walls. Independent licensed professionals determined the shower installation failed systemically and had to be fully demolished and rebuilt. While partial reimbursement was provided for initial mold remediation and limited tile repair, Cabinet Wholesalers ultimately refused to honor the warranty and pay the full cost of correction unless we agreed to use their crew to perform the repairs--a condition that was not stated anywhere in the contract, despite the extensive prior failures. As a result, we were forced to file a complaint with the CSLB and pursue a contractor bond claim. This was an extremely stressful and costly experience. Proceed with caution.

"Well, if we're going to replace the toilet in here, we might as well rip this cheap flooring out that came with the condo and put in new tile..." This lead to a new mirror, sink, fixtures, a new countertop, a new tub, etc So he again puts me to work on a weekend and said use your Yelp elite skills and find us a place to go. I said well, we live by the mile of tile... but I do my research anyways. TBH - the first time we walked in, I didn't get the warm and fuzzies. I mean I don't want to be stalked while shopping but, I do want to be acknowledged esp since we had questions. Anyways, we ended getting help from Ana and it's been great since. My husband is in charge of this project so he mostly deals with the contractor, our vendors, etc There's plenty of variety to choose from and besides Ana, we had been helped by others when she's not there. Everyone is helpful and gives you options based on what you tell them you're looking for. I'm sure we will be back for more projects in the future!

I really wanted to like Bodega Style. I was actually warned to avoid them and referred somewhere…read moreelse, but decided to give them a chance anyway. At first, everything seemed great. They were one of the few places I found that carried prefabricated quartz countertops within my budget. That's where the positive experience ended though. The countertops that came in looked like a watered down version of the floor sample, much more plain and washed out. I understand these are manufactured items and won't be identical, but they should still be in the same range as what is displayed. We even reordered with a different style, thinking that might solve the issue, but the second set had the same problem. After two failed attempts, I tried to cancel the order altogether. The items never left the facility, but Bodega would not allow a return. My contractor even tried to convert the order into store credit to use for another client, and that request was also refused. Customer service only added to the frustration. I came in right at opening one day because I needed to get in and out quickly before work. Despite that, I was passed over while staff handled a large tile delivery, which could have easily been done before opening or at a less busy time. I understand waiting my turn, but this felt poorly managed and inconsiderate, and it nearly made me late. Overall, this was a disappointing experience on multiple levels. Between the product issues, lack of flexibility, and poor service, I would not recommend coming here.

A long overdue review for CustomBuilt-Ins…read more We can't thank Doug and Eric enough for everything they did for us. We had a water leak in our kitchen Memorial Day of 2025. Repipe complete, then the builder came in. The project was to replace the island, lower cabinets of one wall, and repaint the kitchen. They took our check and started. Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. They rebuilt our custom kitchen cabinets, and finished the kitchen painting. We were asking them to come in and finish a project that they had no history or familiarity with what we wanted, right before Thanksgiving. Doug and Eric spent time talking and working with us so we were all on the same page. Schedules made, notification messages of arrivals, and we always had a clear understanding of what will be done each day. Jeannie put together an initial quote after discussing my design ideas and giving me feedback on what would work and the type of wood that would be needed. Doug worked with me to create 3d CAD models of the variations I was considering to visualize what each would look like before ai finalized the design.
