A Reliable Painter did such a good job on the painting and drywall repair around our new front door (both inside and outside) that we hired them to paint our entire house. They were outstanding. I think they spent nearly 5 days doing repairs and priming on the house: powerwash, hand-scraping all the exposed areas needed for repair, stucco repair, wood repair (on some trim, on the wood 4x4 pillars on the front porch, stucco primer, primer). Our neighbors came up and told us how impressed they were. Then they painted the house (Armando has an excellent eye for color, so I made sure to check our paint choices by him first!). Then Armando and a helper spent an entire day fixing tiny things. As an example, my work chair sits right next to the front windows and I can see the underside of the roof as it hangs over the front porch. They did two colors underneath after spending an extensive amount of time cleaning, repairing, and sanding the trim. It was far beyond my expectation. Throughout, as before, there was clear and timely communication. This was especially helpful as this work was done in Spring 2023, in between our weekly sessions of rain in SoCal. I was never in doubt as to when they were taking time away (because of weather) and when they would be here. All the workers were professional and the house was cleaned up to our satisfaction without our having to ask for anything extra. Yes, there were some paint splatters here and there, for instance on the hibiscus plants right alongside the back of the house, but that was unavoidable. Armando was a good communicator, very responsive when we had questions, flexible if we changed our mind about something, and very thorough. His crews showed up on time and worked throughout the day. They did a really thorough job of prepping our house before spraying. Armando was honest and didn't rush to finish our project. As as example, there was one window that they had missed some glazing. Rather than quickly glazing and painting, he wait for 5 days to let the glaze cure and then came back out to prime and paint. Found Armando here on Yelp. His business demeanor is professional and he's a nice guy to talk to. Explained the work to be done clearly and when it would start. His wife gave a us a couple day reminder which is good practice instead of the customer reaching out to check if project was on schedule. Like clock work his guys arrived before start time each morning and put in a full days work for the entire week. Not a common thing today. Completely masked all things off and cleaned up at the end of each day sweeping up the droppings and dust with nothing lying about but all gathered and covered. His guys took care of the little things we pointed out without any issues but with okays and acknowledgement. Will also mention not a ton of over spray onto other surfaces wasting paint. All of the floors were covered, did an excellent job covering up knobs and whatever needed to be covered to prevent paint from going onto it. We also had drywall done (had 3 cutouts in the walls) and it was done so seamlessly and you can't even tell there was any type of hole. Jennifer got right back to me every time I had a question, and gave me a rough estimate (which was actually lower than any of the others we had gotten) based on my description of what I needed to have painted.
