TLDR: Pretty flowers, but expensive and SUBPAR service. I never had experience here purchasing flowers online, but have purchased many times in person. Elena has some employees working here and there, but it is mostly Elena working in the shop. I have mixed feelings about this place. It is the only flower shop in the area, but is definitely on the expensive side. Every flower you pick for a bouquet is going to be at least $3.50 each. Additionally, Elena can either be very kind or extremely rude depending on the day. I went in to purchase some flowers yesterday, and saw her shoo out a young couple for asking what the name of some flowers was. She claimed that "this is a flower shop, not a museum exhibit" and told them to leave if they were going to ask her a bunch of question and not purchase anything. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I don't think Elena should be situated here if she doesn't like people coming in and browsing. read more

Mother's Day Flowers were never delivered. Emails not answered, tried calling - no response. Absolutely terrible experience.

BRIDES BEWARE! I originally chose Elena to do my florals since I lived in Little Italy and have known of her shop for a while. Her prices were also significantly less than all the other quotes I had gotten. She was initially somewhat responsive, but then completely ghosted me. She had not responded to my emails for MONTHS, and finally when I requested my money back via text (there was no contract stating I was not entitled to my deposit) she apologized and stated she could pay me in April since she had just paid her bills and taxes. She has not answered any phone calls and has not responded to any emails, text messages, or a certified letter. I was forced to find another florist 3 months before my wedding and am out $1,500 unless I go to small claims court. Let this be a lesson in you get what you pay for. I would strongly advise against supporting this small business, as the owner is not reliable or trustworthy. One star is truly generous. read more

I brought my granddaughter into the flower shop to pick out beautiful fresh flowers. It was the first time in the shop. The person was rude. Limited conversation, dirty looks slimming the bouquet of flowers that we were purchasing on the counter and saying something rude to my granddaughter in regards to her nails. My granddaughter was taken back and stayed very quiet. After we left, she asked if she did something wrong because the woman was mean. It was a horrible experience. When I called to talk to the owner, she quickly brushed me off, saying that she was busy. If I had an issue to go write a review. Because of the passing of my father, my company sent me flowers from Elena's flowers/bridal. The first order never came so I let my company know and they contacted the floral shop to have them re-delivered. Once they were, I received a bouquet of flowers with some roses wilted and browning. I contacted the floral shop and the phone just rang constantly. I emailed them with no response. I decided to go down to the shop and I was rushed out rudely by the owner because she was having an issue with her bank. I called back and she told me to bring the flowers back the next day which I did. This time I dealt with a sales person who was very kind and apologetic. She promised to remake the bouquet and did acknowledge that some of the flowers were wilted, and they came from another batch that did not last. She indicated that she saw the flowers from the original order but didn't know why they sat there not delivered. The flowers were to be delivered that evening, but they were not. They arrived the next morning with some of the same roses wilted and this time no water was in the vase. The owner put a note attached to the flowers and said that they were not wilted, they are a friend of the rose called spray garden. I called the owner and complained about the flowers and said that they are wilted and brown. She disputed that there's nothing that she can do. I told her I don't want her to do anything and that I would never order flowers from her store. This flower shop is so convenient with its location in little Italy and has reasonable pricing! I just needed a few stems for a small arrangement for a friend, so I went in and was able to pick out exactly which flowers and vase I wanted. She very kindly offered to arrange them but I was in a hurry so I just took the stems as is and arranged them at home, pictured below. It was a nice surprise to walk in and find a cute little cat and dog hanging around! I stuck around a few extra minutes to play with them - they are so friendly! Do not shop here! Very dishonest bought $170.00 worth of Ranunculus flowers for my daughters wedding shower. Day of shower NO FLOWERS called and was clearly lied to said driver was on the way, never showed up. My wife called for refund several times over the course of 7 weeks was always told she did not have money and will refund in a day or two. I finally got involved and called, Elana was very RUDE! Hung up on me. Woman has zero knowledge of customer service very narcissistic! Does not have it in her to acknowledging that she did not provide what she promised. So unfortunate that my daughter did not have her favorite flower at her special occasion. very disappointed with the flowers from elenas. we hired her over a year prior to our wedding because she seemed very nice and her prices were reasonable. over that time, we were in constant communication with elena- sending emails, texts, phone calls and even visiting her shop in person twice while providing colored photos of what we wanted for our wedding. everything was laid out for her. although she didn't always respond, or in a timely manner, she still seemed to understand what we wanted from our wedding flowers. after reading a few reviews of her being late or others being unable to get a hold of her on their wedding day, I decided to recruit a family friend to pick up our flowers and ensure nothing was missing or late. when she arrived, she found our flowers to not be ANYTHING like what we wanted. The colors were blush (my wedding was black and white), she added greenery that I did not ask for or approve, she also put flowers with black in them which I specifically asked not for. she also tried to give us in-bloomed flowers and told us they would bloom by the afternoon... my requests were simple- or so I thought- white roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus & babies breath. I wanted my bridesmaids to ONLY have babies breath. to our surprise, when picking up the flowers, we were told she couldn't get babies breath; so she just did what she could for my bridesmaids bouquets. This was NOT what I wanted. I had a vision and unfortunately, elena did not fulfill it. i'm not sure why it wasn't communicated with us earlier that she wasn't able to obtain certain flowers that we wanted. especially when it was the ONLY flower for my bridesmaid bouquets. interestingly enough, we called trader joe's and they had some. so my family had to run out immediately to grab it. my wedding planner sat on her hands and knees and made my bridesmaids bouquets for me; the way I wanted while now rushing because of the time crunch. my family friend was at elena's shop for 2 hours so as you can imagine, we were behind with photos. groomsmen/ fathers didn't get boutonnières placed until right before walking down the aisle. it was extremely stressful and quite frankly unnecessary if there was better communication. very disappointed with my floral services, one of the most important vendors of the day. not to mention I had already put a deposit for floral preservation/ pressing for after and since my bouquet was from trader joe's, it didn't hold up much past photos. very upsetting & overall not what we envisioned. we requested a refund and she declined. you can see in the photos what I requested vs what we received for mine and my bridesmaids bouquets. also a photo of the unbloomed flowers we were told would bloom by the afternoon... read more

Flowers ordered to be delivered on Mother's day were delivered three days later on Wednesday, May 14th. Flowers jammed in vase not arranged. Very disappointing. I do not recommned this florist. If delivery date is not able to be met, then the order should not be taken. read more

The owner, Elena is very professional and super customer focus to check what you want, how you want to arrange the flowers. My aunt got the most beautiful arrangement and order was delivered in time. My young daughter had a small floral arrangement delivered to me for my birthday. 2/3 of the light purple (my favorite color) roses were dead on arrival. I contacted the store, no answer. My daughter contacted the store, no answer. I sent a text and was told by the owner that she was out of town for the holiday and to contact her Monday. I called Monday and was asked to call back Tuesday. My daughter called back Tuesday and was told there is nothing that could be done and blamed the delivery company who of course would not reimburse her for a product they only picked up to deliver. Shame on you, I will share my story and warn anyone who asks me not to patronize your business. Dishonest business practices towards a teenager. Shame on you. You were dishonest and misleading, next time just say you aren't doing anything instead of wasting someone else's time to contact you multiple times. read more

My sister in law sent my wife get well flowers, as she was very ill in the hospital. First, Elenas flowers sent an email that the flowers were delivered, when they in fact were not. After notifying my sister in law, that we never received these flowers, she contacted Elena's flower shop to let them know the mistake. They said they would deliver them to our home since my wife is no longer in the hospital. On the day they were delivering them, we waited home all day for this delivery, that finally came late at night. These flowers were appalling, compared to what my sister in law, ordered and paid for. She ordered the Premium Dutch Tulips that were supposed to have (according to the website picture) at least 20 tulips, or more. I am adding a picture of what they delivered. There is 7 flowers, 2 of which are wilting, and for some reason they bent and broke off most of the green leaf blades and shoved them down in the vase. I can not even imagine a flower shop would consider sending something like this out. Horrible! My sister in law should get a refund and a big apology. read more

A Valentine's Day disaster! I placed my order at least five days prior to Valentine's Day 2023. Paying for the roses at that time and it was expensive. I thought I am using a small business so I must be paying for service. So I set up a pick up time to be sure that the roses would be ready for me. On Valentine's Day I I contacted the Florist to get the right address of the shop. Without me asking I was told that my order was ready. I use Uber many times and the driver never have a problem with a stop. This driver went out of the way to accommodate me and walked me into the shop due to my vision loss. The Florist who is the owner did not acknowledge me for a while when I arrived. Then started telling me that there was no red roses but pink roses were available. She seemed to have an attitude. After some back and forth I reluctantly accepted the pink roses at no discount. She offered abox of chocolate that I never received. She asked me if I would like babies breath in the bouquet of roses. I politely declined stating that my wife does not like the garnishment. The Uber driver then told me a few minutes later that I was going to receive a bunch of babies breath if I did not say anything. The florist then took the babies breath out of them OK. What I received or white flowers, roses, that looked like they had been put into water that allowed for pink you to be absorbed, using something like food coloring in the water. It is an old trick, that many young people do when they are unable to pay for more expensive flowers. This is not a young person who is the business owner. At the absolute best this is the poorest customer service that I am ever received from a florist , and one of the reasons people do not use small businesses. This person should consider how hard it is to earn money before excepting it for payment, and not providing what was paid to receive. As you can probably tell him, I would not recommend this business or this business owner to anyone. read more

Not bad. A little pricey but good quality. I bought online to send my wife to help her bad day get better. The picture was a little misleading for what she got, also they messed up and delivered her the wrong flowers lol. But they were able to remedy it before the end of the day and let her keep them both. The owner was pleasant when I called about the mishap. So altogether an ok experience. read more
