Had flowers ordered for my grandmothers' funeral. Large order 900$ plus tax. This including both my brothers, and my father and self. Asked for easel arrangements. Wanted full flower arrangements and were willing to pay extra to make this happen. All sibling arrangements were to be the same except different colors. They were not. My specific easel was pink Roses and Lillie's. Flowers showed up to the funeral home wrong, missing Lillies and not full at all. I had maybe 20 small roses and 6 inches apart between each flower. So not full either. My mom saw them first and sent them back for Lillie's to be added as that's is what we paid for. I show up to the funeral home and see what they delivered. My heart sank with disappointment ---They looked terrible, wilted, beat up, and sparse. I mean terrible. No joke-- Wilting and browned, dead. My brother's easel didn't even make it to the next day to the church service/burial. We could not go into the store because they are "closed for covid" it's Jan 2023.. We called to voice our upset and "Lynn" who told us it was "well worth the price" then put us on hold for 35 min and waiting for us to hang up, never returned. That is how they treat people grieving. Rip them off, send dead flowers and then never return to the customers on "hold". Do yourself a service and don't go here. read more

If you are planning an event or a wedding, this is where you need to go. Period. End of story, end of sentence, end of discussion. First and foremost, the firecracker of a woman that owns it is magnificent; a boisterous personality, mixed with an insane desire to do anything we wanted for our wedding made sure she was the florist for us. Our requests were minimal: Two large centerpiece flowers, five arrangements for my bride and her four bridesmaids, and four corsage for our mothers and grandparents, nine lapel for me and my four groomsmen as well as our grandparents and children. What we got exceeded our expectations, especially for the money we spent. The two gigantic (seriously, over two feet tall each) vase at the head of the churches stood another two feet above that, and two feet out in either direction of some of the most beautiful white and light green flowers (our colors were white, sage/peridot, depending on where you look at it and silver) you'd ever see. I couldn't even begin to guess how many flowers and plants are in these arrangements. And the bouquets? Packed with flowers. These aren't just seven flowers and some baby's breath around some green plants. Again, there's likely twenty different flowers packed into a tastefully done bouquet on the smaller side, and yet each girl was beaming -- BEAMING -- with joy while they stared at the bouquet they carried down the aisle. My favorite part though has to be that the arrangements are sitting on my dining room table as we speak. I've cooked dinners since and yet all I can smell are these flowers, which look exactly like the day we brought them home. As I write this I'm feeling a little emotional with gratitude for the absolute kindness and generosity of the owner and team at Affordable Flowers. My Mom is pretty sick with dementia and this year's Mother's Day will be the last that she can understand anything...so last minute I called Affordable and they created the most beautiful, joyful, big, and colorful arrangement I've ever sent to my Mom. And although she didn't totally understand it all, my Stepdad said to made her smile so big, bigger than she normally does. I called them in a pinch for birthday flowers for my mom. I forgot about the time zone change, and it was afternoon in Cleveland (calling from LA). Even though the delivery person had already left, the owner said she would personally deliver to my mom, who lives around the corner. That level of customer service is unheard of these days! One of the worst..... correction..... the WORSE customer service I have EVER experienced. I went to buy flowers for an event and spend $2500 which was the owner's quote so not exaggerating the amount spending, and the owner Rose Marie was one of the rudest owners of a business I have met. Was so impatient that she basically told me to go to another florist. I literally was just shocked that it came out of nowhere just got saying that I couldn't wait and I would be back first thing in the morning at 9 a.m.. i wasn't rude or impolite or anything else and just stated that and she just blew up and said to take my business to another florist. I left saying more than happy to. This owner needs to learn much better manners and business practices at her age and also better customer service. I chose affordable florals for my wedding flowers-bouquets and centerpieces. I had worked with the florist in the past, and overall, the past experience had been good. Leading up to the wedding, I thought that we had a good working relationship. I wanted peonies and was told that they were not in season and that she could substitute a rose that looked like a peony; I was fine with that. I sent numerous pictures of the flowers that I wanted, and I was told that look could be accomplished. Come day of the wedding, the delivery girl shows me the bouquet and it was nothing that I had ordered. The roses did not look like peonies, they were falling apart, and already had yellowed edges to the flowers. On top of that, the greenery was nothing like the greenery in the picture-it looked like vines hanging in a rainforest. When my wedding coordinator called to speak with the florist, she said "we are talking about petals and leaves" (as if those things do not matter). A bouquet is only petals and leaves! To top it off, she hung up on my coordinator and told us not to call back. I could not even believe it. The bouquet may not have been important to her, but it was to me. I cannot believe that in an industry where referrals are relied upon for business, that I would receive that kind of customer service. In addition to the bouquets being a disaster, the boutonnieres were too heavy for the single wire that she placed them on, and were just hanging off of the lapels. Some did not even make it to pictures-the flower just fell off. I was super disappointed overall. Since the wedding, my coordinator has emailed the florist twice with no response. My husband has been in twice and still no retribution. Do not use this florist. You will regret it! read more

Disappointed in this arrangement. Cost of the flowers were $35. but the arrangement only contained cheap flowers like carnations and sunflowers. I could have bought them at the grocery store for $5. They could not even spring for one rose. I certainly did not get my moneys worth. I will not make this mistake again. From now on I will order from an internet florist where I know what I am purchasing. PS - I spoke to the owner and she did not care what I had to say. Very discouraging when you just feel like buying your wife a half dozen of roses, "just because"and the roses seem "affordable" and finally because the sign on the entry door shows the credit cards that are accepted, but you can't because they won't take a credit card if you don't spend $20, besides that, isn't there laws in Ohio against smoking in establishments? When I walked in, there was a lady with a cigarette in her mouth and I couldn't hardly breathe because of the smell, but that's nothing compared to the disappointment I feel because I couldn't get roses for wife. This was by far the best floral shop I ever visited. the customer service here is beyond belief. they went above and beyond to make flower arrangements including all the flowers I asked for and charged me less than half of what other places wanted! I could have spent over $250.00 for the same standing funeral arrangements but here I got them for about $50.00 each, which was important as we were on a budget. The flowers included Roses, Lilies , and others along with name banners. I have been here several times, and ordered flower arrangements, Roses etc(they even colored white roses blue for me!), and sent numerous others here, This is the one stop shop! I met with the florist, showed her a picture of the bouquet I liked, and followed up with an email of the image. However, when the bridal and maid-of-honor bouquets arrived at my wedding (20 minutes before it started), they looked nothing like the photo and the florist completely ignored several of my requests. I indicated I didn't really like roses, yet there were a dozen mixed into my bouquet. I wanted a loose, spilling over look, and they gave me tightly bound. I wanted shades of purple with a bit of white and no pink; of course, I also got pink flowers. Additionally, both bouquet were about twice the size they should have been. My sister (MOH) actually carried my massive (bridal) flowers down the aisle, because I hated them. I would not recommend Affordable Florals. read more
