After she received the flowers, she called me crying (happy tears!) and said they were magnificent, sharing that no one had ever sent flowers to her at work before. Today, dear friends sent me the most beautiful flowers I have ever received, in memory of my mom, who passed away a year ago, from Stems Fleur. Every speck of this arrangement was so creatively and gorgeously put together, from the lush green leaves circling the vase on the inside, to the hydrangeas, orchid, succulent stem, green moss, and folded leaves in the arrangement. No filler flowers or artificial colors here. The flowers were delivered to my door, and the driver called me rather than leaving them out in the cold. I called Stems Fleur because my son and daughter were having a small family post Covid wedding. My daughter in law asked me to help her with the flowers. We wanted a nice bouquet, boutonnieres and some arrangements for the reception. Given that this is her first wedding, she wanted to come in and talk with someone. We were told that Scott only talks to people who are having big weddings. Otherwise, we could email him. Chet then said that he would see but Scott really does not do in person consults for our size wedding. I said thank you and hung up. Then Chet called back and said yes, that I could come in if I wanted to and gave me a timeframe but the dismissive way and the demeanor was like "take your chances and come in but it is not really important to us". This is so short sighted and when I compare it to the response I received from the two other florists I called that were so welcoming, willing to help me AND wanted us to come in for a consult, it was incredibly disappointing. read more
