While I was a member, I had a great experience. However, my therapist left (or was let go, I'm not sure), and weeks ago, Elements Massage informed me about it. Not wanting to switch to a new therapist, I filled out and submitted a cancellation form. Now, weeks later, they've charged me $134, claiming it's a final payment after cancellation. Really!? What exactly am I paying for? As a small business owner, I'm very disappointed and surprised that a company would take advantage of their clients this way, especially since my reason for cancellation was the departure of my therapist. I've requested a refund, and we'll see if they do the right thing or if their priority is just taking money from clients in such an unscrupulous manner. read more

But we would randomly get canceled on many times. Which made it hard for us to reschedule again. I called to setup an appointment and Stephanie was very friendly and helpful. Stephanie got me setup quickly even though I could tell something was messed up with our account, which was something she got squared away without keeping me on the phone. My therapist was Mick who was very professional and knowledgeable about his technique and conduct. He was very helpful working out some of my shoulder pain and was giving me some great information after the massage about some stretching I could perform to help my shoulder pain. I will come again! They convinced my husband and I to sign up for a monthly plan. We were told that if we didn't use the massage, it would just roll over and accumulate and stay in the account for up to a year. I used one massage, but then every time I tried to schedule with the therapist that I liked, she was unavailable. Fast forward 3 months, and I got a notification that there was fraud on my debit card. I had to cancel that card, which happened to be the one on my account with Elements. I now received a text message that because my auto payment was declined that the three sessions that I paid for are now inactive, and that if I have a second missed auto payment I will lose those three sessions all together. I called the office and was told that that is their policy. I don't understand how, if I payed for these three sessions and haven't used them, how they can just take them away because I don't want to keep giving them my money and not ever be able to see the therapist I want to see. I am currently waiting for a manager to call me back. My advice is to beware what you are signing up for because at no point did they advise me of this "policy" when I signed up. read more

I am a breast cancer survivor and had the most amazing massage by Maekayla. She was great. She knows what she's doing. I was very impressed. Feeling appropriately sore and feeing much more loose today. My PT was amazed by my increased range of motion. Come to her if needing muscle work and to loosen those tight muscles. When I started going to Elements I had a few good massages and even joined as a member. Due to a disheartening exchange with a masseuse and front desk agent, I reached out to the manager and owner outlining this exchange and asked for them to give me a call. To date, no call ever occured. Upon my second email, I did finally recieve a curt response from Freedom, the owner. Extremly poor customer service and even made me feel bad about my outreach. My best advice is to avoid this establishement and certainly don't get roped into a membership. There are so many other options for great massages in the Broomfield/Westminster area that prioritize customer service. First off, I booked my appointment online by myself on the wrong day. My bad. I received a very rude call asking where I was. I was told I would be charged half since I did not show. It was my mistake, so I was okay with that. I then received a rude accusing text from the owner that I had blocked my card. No, I did not. The card info was actually automatically entered through Apple, so she was just being unreasonable. She asked me to call her and give her an updated card. I got a gift card for Mother's Day from my husband and children. I tried for several weeks to set up an appointment, I finally was able to get in, I was pumped! I filled out the client intake paperwork in advance and I showed up 15 minutes early to avoid missing out on any of my 90 minutes of pampering. I had even decided prior to going that I wanted to sign up for a membership and make this a weekly event! However I walked into this amazingly welcoming atmosphere only to be blindsided by the utterly rude receptionist! She was loud, pushy and down right disrespectful. She practically yelled at me when she asked for my name. I told her who I was and she said that I needed to fill out my paperwork. I replied that I had filled it out on line and even showed her the completed paperwork screen on my phone. To which she barked at me "Well I don't have it" followed up with asking me "What's your problem". Shocked I replied "nothing" to which she again said "You just walked in the door what's your problem. What can I do to help you". To which I again answered "nothing". She shoved the clipboard and marker into my hands and I walked away. Several things I would like to share not that I expect a response: I am a small business owner so I know how hard it is to find good help, however this behavior is 100% unacceptable. You might want to reconsider her employment, especially because her behavior is costing you money. This interaction totally ruined my massage. I am also a certified massage therapist and NEVER have I EVER worked in a spa that the first person you see is loud and pushy. All receptionists in the spas that I worked at were soft spoken and helped to start the relaxation experience. The overall massage was out of this world and if the therapist worked somewhere else I would be booking with her weekly. Elements is a great place to come for your massages. Love the ambiance the place has created by decor and music. The rooms are very relaxing with dimmed lights and soft blankets. I've got to admit the reason why I return to this specific location is only because of Preston. You can find the same ambiance at another location since they are a chain but you can't have Preston. I live in South Denver and I travel all the way North to request Preston. His technique and massages are the best I have experienced and don't come close to the higher end massages you find at resorts or hotels. His hands are a true gift. My spouse and i came in for an aroma touch for myself and cupping for my spouse. The therapist that my spouse was assigned to unfortunately forgot to add the cupping and did not charge us for that portion of the service, and added it on for free with our next visit along with my aroma touch therapy. The massage's are great but don't count on seeing your favorite therapist for long. There is a high turn over rate so don't be surprised if you get a call that your "therapist " is no longer there. I booked an appointment for a massage online and when I arrived, the receptionist let me know that I did not actually have an appointment but was on the waiting list. The reason that my massage wasn't fully booked was that someone was supposed to call me to get a credit card number but they never called. So at least she was honest and owned that it was their fault, but I was not offered a massage later in the day or any other time, nor was I offered any discounts for the future or anything else as an apology. I was pretty bummed because I am a working mother of small children and I just happened to be free today to get a massage - it will probably be 6 months to a year before I get the opportunity again. read more

The front desk was friendly and I liked that the massage therapist took the time to do a consultation and review my medical history. I prefer more of a lighter pressure massage and my therapist adjusted her pressure level to so it was just the right fit. It's my 2nd time visiting Elements Massage, I've been impressed thus far and I don't live here! I live in CA but come to Denver to visit family. Through all the hustle and bustle of travel, activities etc..I look forward in getting a massage at Elements! The staff is so friendly and professional. I always get greeted with a smile and they accommodate my schedule. I've been paired with the right massage therapist and I love it! The therapist applies the right amount of pressure and can change it during the massage if needed. I get 90 minute massages and every minute is used on me!!! When I came back, they had my previous massage in the system and kept track of the areas of need. This was a nice feeling and a personal touch... If I could give this location zero stars, I would. Melisa Bothwell, the franchise manager, is one of the most unprofessional managers I have ever dealt with. If you enjoy booking a massage days in advance, personally following-up with the location the day of the massage to ensure your appointment is still on (due to lack of confirmation text/email), only to have an employee verify that the appointment is on, to then receive a text while driving to the massage that the location accidentally booked a person with the same name in your spot -- than this is your place! Errors happen, however, Melisa will not be the one to clear up the error. Instead, she acts unprofessionally and will hang-up on you. It may just be me, however, I sure this type of behavior is bad for business. Since Elements is a franchise, I would suggest booking through another location. read more

my boyfriend and i went here today and i'm absolutely discussed by the way we were treated. they run the most disrespectful, rude and untruthful establishment i've ever stepped foot in. my boyfriend and i went in to our appointment on time, they had us fill out paperwork asking questions such as : if we have injuries, are on medications and other things along those lines. then went on to asking us where we're ok with being touched and letting us know that we are to get undressed to a point we feel comfortable. typical question... so then our therapists called our names and told us to come back into the room and explain to us the difference levels of pressure we want and other preferences we had. she then told us we were to get undressed to a point we're comfortable...which my boyfriend began to do as she was leaving the room , nothing strange. our therapist left and i got undressed down to my underwear as i was told to do. the therapists had us waiting in our room for about 10-15 minutes. we were in our own private room so we kissed, no sex or extravagant kissing. and then eventually got under the covers of our own separate massage beds , waiting for our massage therapists to come and begin. we get a knock on the door and it's security telling us we were acting inappropriate and that they thought we were on DRUGS with no proof or reasoning. we had done absolutely nothing inappropriate in-front of the workers , we had kissed in the privacy of our own private room. and in no way were we "acting" like we were on drugs and we were NOT AT ALL on drugs. that on its own is extremely rude and disrespectful to accuse someone of that with no proof or legitimate reason. our looks were clean and well put together, nothing trashy or inappropriate. also they were very hesitant to explain to us what was inappropriate that we apparently had done. they then proceeded to tell us to leave, i was practically naked on the massage bed while a security officer was standing in the door way telling me to leave giving me no privacy to put my clothes on. then they had the owner come and speak to us and he accused us of the same thing of being inappropriate and then went on to access us of being on "drugs" or having intoxicated behavior. which once again we were not and in no way acting. we asked what we had done that was so inappropriate that made them feel the need to kick us out before ever being touched by our therapists, the therapists that we had only talked to for about 1 or 2 minutes. the owner gave us no sold reason but did ask us if we got naked in-front of our therapists... this had us in shock because in no way what so ever did we do such a thing. the accusations of such behavior is obscure and very unprofessional. so all together we were disrespected, embarrassed, robbed of our time and our money. not to forget accused of things we DID NOT DO. so if ur thinking of going here... DONT DO IT. THIS PLACE WILL TREAT YOU WITH NO RESPECT, STEAL YOUR MONEY AND VIOLATE YOUR RIGHTS!!!! truthfully an appalling business environment and work ethic. felt absolutely violated. absolutely 100% the worst experience, would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! don't waste your time and money here!!! we will be involving our lawyers ! read more
