I was referred to Selbo Therapeutics by a friend after continually complaining about back aches and knots. I was not disappointed. The over atmosphere is very inviting, bright, warm and extremely clean. Which was important to me a client. I hadn't had a massage in over 3 years, so I was a bit apprehensive about it at first. However, the staff was very accommodating. All of my concerns we're addressed, and Maggie truly listened when asking me about the level of pressure I wanted and problem areas. I have left previous massages, feeling hardly any better, with needed areas of knots and pain not being addressed. This was quite the opposite at Selbo Therapeutics. Absolutely fantastic! Maggie is top notch and really understands the human body. I'm a chiropractor and need to be on my feet all day helping my patients. I first came in to see Maggie for help with an old knee injury from years of sports. I've been to many different massage therapists and I got the typical "fluff 'n buff" massage with absolutely no results. Maggie got to the root of the problem and after one visit I noticed a difference as soon as I got off the table. What a find! I don't have an extensive history with massage therapists, but my first visit with Maggie for localized therapeutic massage convinced me of how exceptional she is. The staff and atmosphere are warm and welcoming, the music relaxing, the massage table is heated! Maggie is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and fantastic in her skills. I highly recommend Selbo! They are always personable and happy to accommodate however they can! Dawn is amazing! I was unable to turn my neck more than 20 degrees to either side, and after an hour working with Dawn I have full mobility back in my neck. She really took her time and made sure to fully work out the areas with the most tension and knots, and at the same time used the perfect amount of pressure to where it didn't hurt one bit when she was working out the knots. Just moved back to the area and came across this place. It is conveniently located and when you walk in the office is clean and pleasantly decorated. The prices are very reasonable and they even have specials that make it very affordable. Dawn is amazing! Went here with chronic back pain after seeing two massage therapists and a chiropractor and Maggie worked so well with me one on one and helped lesson a majority of the pain I had as well as giving me pointers on stretches and other ways to deal with the pain.
