Yvonne is amazing! I have searched high and low for someone who will take care of my nails the way…read moreI would take care of my nails if I was a nail tech. She is the one! I have been doing acrylic for a few years and wanted to give them a break. Also, because I was tired of all the other nail salons pushing me through like a number. They never took care of my cuticles and it was just getting worse and worse. I was getting hang nails and dead skin around my fingers. I found Yvonne through yelp. I went to her website and booked a Russian manicure but forgot to add the acrylic removal. I called her and left a message. She called right back and added the extra service. On the day of the appt, she was on time and is such a sweet person. We talked about my nail history, the other salons, and what I really wish for my nails. I wanted to grow them out and be more natural instead of using acrylic. Yvonne told me this is possible and we came up with a game plan to strengthen my nails for the return appts. I'm not just giving her a compliment for no reason. Her work is impeccable! I can be very picky and she did an amazing job. My cuticles look so clean and my nails are so healthy! Her price is very reasonable compared to other Russian manicures. I'm so happy to see my natural nails again! She is located inside a tall, nondescript, brown business building. Her studio is small but cozy as she is the only nail tech so you are not sharing the appointment with others. The vibe is relaxing, cozy, and comfortable. It's a place where tea can be spilled so bring the hot tea! Lol.

From a business (and adult) perspective, this concept is amazing - but the delivery I experienced was a major fail. I purchased the Groupon for a haircut / 90 minute spa appointment. While I fully realize that Groupons can be chaotic (and even nightmarish) to vendors, the whole purpose is to drive business. It completely defeats this purpose if the business doesn't turn the coupon client into a repeat client. I called and left a voicemail requesting an appointment for Sunday, assuming they were open because I was unable to locate the hours of operation on their website. Again, realizing they may be busier than usual, I also sent an email stating the same. The following day I had not been contacted back at all, so I called again. I requested Tuesday, was told they also do hair chalking and tinseling and thinking this was a nice upsell, I agreed to add chalking to the haircut. I was then told there was no hairstylist there on Tuesdays and replied that wouldn't work because I specifically bought this Groupon for the cut. We moved to Thursday, I added chalking anyway, and my sister scheduled a half day from her job to make Thursday work. Thursday morning I received a voice mail (from the same woman I scheduled with) confirming the appointment, but with a "by the way, we no longer have a hair stylist but can do chalking or tinseling instead". Right?! My sister returned that call and I wasn't present during the conversation so it's not fair to quote it, but I will say my sister was less than pleased about more than taking a half day from work - especially when we weren't even able to get what we already paid for. Pass.

I know, that's awful but it is the whole mind set we have because we get everything so cheap. Classy Nails is THE best place to get gel colored tips. I think to date, I have had every freaking color of the spectrum. Amy is my go to girl there but when she is out I have tried her sister and another girl and ya know what? I have never had a bad nail job. They are clean and consistent and a new set is only $40.00. I think you will enjoy the place as much as I do. Over the past four years of going to Amy to get my nails done, I have developed a fondness for her and the shop. Now you know.

Unfortunately they got my color wrong and when I tried to correct them, she said oh we're mixing colors because we ran out which was fine and I was OK with that, but then they never mixed the colors so I ended up with the wrong color on my feet, they added a different color later to try to make it look nicer. So they did try to appease me, which would've been fine except for the next mistakes. They did my nail polish the color close to what I wanted, but it's been two hours now, and the nail polish still hasn't dried... I don't know what kind of products they're using, but definitely don't get nail polish here and the gel polish. They added to my toes also didn't dry. I will never be going back here. It was such a waste of money. Update: a day later my toes are messed up too....
