This makes me feel like a super basic millennial but I really liked the aesthetic of the shop and felt good as soon as I walked in off the already very cute and trendy Tennyson street. My esthetician Jasmine was super sweet and gentle and talked me through every step of the process. She even mentioned that she'd be sending a follow up email with her skincare recommendations for me which I haven't received quite yet but I'm looking forward to. My overall experience was great and I only dock one star for the lack of soundproofing between rooms. I don't need a dimly lit cavern with meditation music (in fact, I was more comfortable at Heyday than my one previous facial experience which was in a more traditional, staged-feeling setting), but I didn't enjoy just how much of the other patron's conversations I could hear. I left Heyday feeling like a fresh and glowy member of the glazed donut club and look forward to going back for some indulgent self-care.

For the past six years, Natural Skincare Clinic has not only taken care of my skin but also educated me on all the factors that impact it--from diet and environmental triggers to product ingredients. For the first four years, my skin was consistently clear, but at the four-year mark, I started experiencing breakouts and flare-ups. Feeling discouraged, I sought second opinions from another skincare clinic and a dermatologist, but my skin only worsened. I returned to Natural Skincare Clinic, and they put me back on track--within 2-3 months, my skin was clear again and better than before. Being part of this program is a commitment; you have to invest in it for it to work. But for me, the investment has been completely worth it.
